So excited for this, especially after seeing the CM  ! I refuse to watch the full performances just yet though My friend was looking for a present for his mum, when as a joke I suggested the Oral Fixation tour DVD, and it turns out I made his mum a fan, so he pre-ordered it for her! Oh apparently HMV are going to be stocking LOADS in shops, and they'll be selling for £13.99

Did anybody else actually like her, or buy the album? I was only 13 at the time, but I remember I really enjoyed it. I [like most people] then forgot about her music career. however, a few few weeks ago when I was listening to a cd by a Japanese band [Nakanomori BAND - check them out <3] it turns out the B-Side was a cover of 'Sentimental' which led me to pull out the Kym Marsh album and realise one more how good it is! :o I wouldn't say it is amazing or that it stands out particularly, but it it extremely consistent, and the songs are really well written. i think she really showed potential on it. Cry MFj0YBIQK9E Come On Over rxtynEKKyqI Sentimental uSa3EVGAjsg if anyone has the album, don't you agree that 'Cross Every River' is absolutely amaze <3

This is actually really good! :o easily better than Kingdom Come, but not on par with 'The Black Album or 'Blueprint' Easily one of the best hip hop albnums of the year. It's made a better first impression on me than 'Graduation'

  12. Exactly - it's still done well regardless. How was ITZ longevity wise?
  13. There is gonna be some unhappy faces :magic:
  14. Although the time they chose to announce the new rule is a bit sketchy, it's more than fair. At the end of the day, The Eagles sold nearly 2.5 times what Britney did, why shouldn't they be #1? it's even more impressive that it was sold all through one chain of stores. Don't you think that an album that sells 700K deserves to be #1? I'm sure your tune would be different if it was Britney who was in the position of The Eagles.
  15. I got it today as well :D Wanted the special edition, but it was £15, and the normal was only £7 :o
  16. I may get this! :o To be fair to them they have a lot of good songs [albeit some cr!p also] and don't deserve all the criticism they get on here.

I think it will be the duet then, is the song on her new album? :o Apparently the duet isn't anywhere yet, so perhaps the japanese edition will be re-released with the track around the beginning of next year. Rami: It'd have to be between 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now,' 'A New Day Has Come' or 'Pour que tu m'aimes encore'
  18. So far: Wat: Wat Collection [w/ DVD & Poster] Shakira: Donde Estan Los Ladrones? [My third copy, my other two skip because they've been played so much! ]

Thanks ^ :D I've always been a fan of Celiné, but never really come in here for some reason. My favourite album is 'Falling Into You' - the first album I ever bought  when I was only 6 years old

Yuna Ito! :o Most of you [if any] will not have heard of her. However, in Japan she is very popular at the moment. Her debut album went double platinum, she has had a leading movie role and numerous #1's on the single and album chart. Anyway, apparently she is recording a duet with Celiné, entitled 'A World to Believe In' released on 16th January. I'll keep you updated about everything that happens :D Ito Yuna has an extremely strong voice, and her idol is Celiné. She even covered 'My Heart Will Go On' for an album tribute to Celiné featuring various Japanese artists [released in September] LXKKgLNdRNQ Precious cNmOjNnQzm0 Endless Story 94SZYWYQc9A Urban Mermaid ExPF7HBrfu0 I'm sure you will love her
  21. I personally think it's between Miguel Bose with Paulina Rubio or Gustavo Cerati, but my favourite would be the former.

She'll never be hugely successful imo. She always pops up with the odd big hit now and again, but I honestly believe she'll never be truly mainstream, and I think that's better, because it means her music won't become diluted mainstream $h!t. She'll be back <3
  23. Fri Nov 2, 7:49 AM ET LONDON - The new owner of EMI Group PLC has said he will drop artists the music group believes are not working hard enough and will overhaul the company's own executives' pay packages, the Financial Times reported Friday. EMI, which has Coldplay, the Rolling Stones and Kylie Minogue on its roster, also threatened to withdraw stars' lucrative advances if record sales are disappointing, the FT said, quoting an internal memo to staff from the chief executive of the private equity firm that bought the company in August. Guy Hands, the CEO of Terra Firma Capital Partners, said the company would in the future be "more selective in whom we choose to work with." "While many spend huge amounts of time working with their label to promote, perfect and endorse their music, some unfortunately simply focus on negotiating for the maximum advance ... advances which are often never repaid," Hands said. The report said the memo did not name any artists. The company, which Terra Firma bought for $4.9 billion, has been plagued in the past by late delivery of albums by some of its biggest acts. Hands also criticized EMI's "compensation and management system put in place over the last 20 years which does not encourage the right behaviors or reward the right actions." "What worries me is that the existing structures have been put in over a couple of decades and unpicking them in a way that releases the good in the company is not going to happen overnight," he added. EMI did not immediately return a call for comment Friday
