Kiseki

I never understood the whole C&GI being amazing thing, but whatever ~ Not very bothered by her comeback, if it happens. Just another band member with bigger ambitions.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk_politics/8288424.stm So apparently this is going ahead, but i'm not sure if it's with/without Simon?

Okay so experimental is probably the wrong word to use. It mixes hip hop and dancey/electro sounds pretty well, instead of the usual R&B/Pop by numbers which he's done for the past few albums. There's a couple of duff tracks, but overall i'd rate it a pretty good album. Stand out imo is "Pass Out" - a smash waiting to happen. He should've waited a while to return though, i'm not surprised it's bombing.

EtQEVDy46dk blatantly :kink:

I do love this song so much, possibly my favourite song on SW, but I don't think it'll do well/save the album

Any idea how close Buble is to SuBo? I can't imagine he's that close, surely?

Go 3Oh!3!! Can't Believe it's going to do better than DTM -_-

Glad to see that Danyl did pretty well throughout (apart from week three/last week). A shame Olly didn't win :( JLS/Alex were amazing though. Leona was okay, George was boring, Paul was great. Susan Boyle wiped the floor with everybody though, imho, with her show afterwards

I wonder if Susan Boyle songs will rise after her superb show. Will no doubt help album sales surge as well

I hope Olly can pull a surprise win over Joe tonight  Glad Stacey went tbh. She has a good personality, but the last thing needed is another Leona-lite.

Simon bites back:

I think it's a very decent album. Not as good as his sophmore, but much more creativ.

YAY I never thought LMFAO would have a hit

Glad to see Shaki climbing again :)

Somebody said it previously in the thread, but I doubt Boyle will have another album that seels on the same level as this. buttt realy it doesn't mattter. this album encapsualtes a time, a group of people, a feeling. tbh I think if people think of 2009, you think of Susan Boyle. She's the real sucess story of this year, maybe even this decade. She won't have the same success again, but she'll always have some sort of career ahead of her, and I wish her the best of luck, she has a beautiful debut album. Go team Boyle

I adore this song SO much  easily favourite on the album, alongside "Chinese."

I thought they stopped this after Westlife won like 10 times in a row? or is that a different RoY contest?

I don't see why people think she isn't going to do well, it's coming off the back of a 500K+ selling album and a huge #1 single

Danyl :( I'm not overly bothered since all my favourites have now gone. My vote probably goes to Olly. However, Joe will most likely win

Team Danyl

i'm not being a snob  I don't mind the occasional dose of Miley (same person, it's like saying Single Ladies was Sasha Fierce, not Beyonce..) but using a song released this year as the winners single seems slightly ludicrous, especially when Simon seemed to be going down the route of having his singers cover more credible songs (Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Hallelujiah).
