  1. None, although the sugababes song is quality. Morning Musume; Kanashimi Twighlight
  2. Oh, and just so people know, I shall creating a thread for the Oricon daily chart as well =D
  3. I really like Ayaka as well, although I have to say I prefer 'Clap & Love' to 'Why' in terms of the songs, but it is vice versa for the video. I have heard the BoA/SEAMO collaboration, and I honestly expected more of it, not that it's bad of course. Oh, CDJ have announced a new BoA single for 12/12 as well, apparently it will be ''a fresh and edgy dance sound'' - I pray for another Dakishimeru and not a Sweet Impact

Thelma Aoyama It comes as no surprise that boyband Kanjani8 get to number one this week, outselling runner up Ryu Siwon by an awfully large amount. their first two days particularly had huge sales. ºC-ute were one Hello! Project kids, but when some were selected to join band berryz Kobo, the rest formed their own. their new single is surprising for H!P release, as it managed to increase it's sales on some days. This is the bands highest first week sales. B'z get another week in the top 10, and Laruku have a sharp second week drop. Abingdon Boys School only reach #2 with their debut album [which i personally love.] YUKI has yet another week in the top 5 with her 'Single Collection -five star-' VOCALIST 3 continues to sell well, as does LOVE PiECE by popular artist Ai Otsuka. 5. Because I was given their album as a gift? Anyway, why should the music I listen to make my opinion more relevant or not?
  6. I would believe that they are D:
  7. What the hell is this, a r*tard convention? The Take That fans seem so against anyone else besides Take That, wtf? Get lives yeah? <3 The fact you feel the need to buy so many copies of a song speaks a lot about how confident you are about the song getting to #1 on its own merits. What the hell? She's only released two singles, how can she learn from a mistake when she hasn't made one. The public clearly like the material she is producing, being on X-Factor or not. Take That seems to make music simply for the housewives who pour out there money for anything remotely MOR. Some of their old stuff may have been good, but they now are nothing more than a Westlife that sing original songs. They even release their new material close to Christmas because they know they would inevitablly garner huge sales, and now that the 'comeback' isn't exactly news anymore, they have to rely on things like this. Bless. For the record, I don't even like Leona that much, but you are all acting so childish. grow up yeah?
  8. Christ O= and I thought McFly fans were bad xD Download: Leona Lewis ~ Bleeding Love

  12. And the last one for tonight... 39 The 5,6,7,8's I'm sure most of you know them from the film Kill Bill, and the rather fantastic 'Woo Hoo Song' They were one of my first tastes of Japanese music, although i didn't really begin to appreciate them for some years after my first encounter with them. They gained there name due to the fact they sing songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. I believe they were quite popular in the 80s, although their popularity died down [and they disbanded] until the Kill Bill movie gained them international success. So why do I like them? I think the singer has a really unique voice. Sometimes it sounds really awful, but imo it is really raw, and suits their surf punk vibe to the ground <3. i also think that their use of engrish is rather fantastic, on a lighter note  I'm Blue YlPrvzPolYA
  13. 39 Hinoi Team http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/5984/hinoibz0.jpg I was introduced to these girls by a friend. their style is Eurobeat, with parapara dancing. I put them so high because when I listen to them, they always bring a smile to my face, and make me feel hyper xD I believe they have disbanded now, which is a shame as they were a lot better than most groups of the same genre [Gyaruru, for example] Ike Ike gLU9UJTdE-M
  14. And to round out the first part of this list.... 40 Amy Winehouse http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/2193/amyeu0.jpg I personally don't understand how anyone can't like her. She's fiesty, she can handle her drink, and she's got an amazing voice. I prefer her debut album to her latest, but i'm really glad she has got the recognition she deserved, something I couldn't have seen happening in 2005 when I bought Frank F*ck Me Pumps hQXddDLvQx0
  15. 41 Brooke Hogan http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/8995/b1ay9.jpg Well, I really don't know where to begin. I have followed her career for 3 years, before her tv show, before her record deal, before anything. I really loved her music back then, the sort of pop/rock music, she really suited it, over the years though she began to change her sound to an R&B style, and her debut album Undiscovered followed this. This really disappointed me, despite some of the songs are really good, they just aren't as good as her pre-label songs. So she would have been higher if she hadn't have sold out, but from what i've heard she's going back to her roots for the next album, so hopefully she can rise up my list again <3 I Believe [live] rToqhfVRjfk
  16. 42 Teppei Koike http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/7246/teppeisy4.jpg I do mean to force my opinion on anybody, but I am sure everyone agrees that he is hellah hot xD One half of duo WaT, Teppei Koike has also released numerous solo singles and an album of original material. Like WaT, his music is melodic pop/rock, although more guitar orientated and less ballady imo. His songs are really nice to relax with, and I don't really have a bad word to say about him <3 Let us all appreciate  Kimi ni Okuro Uta 04Do2gAxJE0
  17. She really is  and yes, RHCP are amaze
  18. Fan! Exodus should have been huge, but I think they launched her with the wrong song. It's such a diverse album, they could have gone many routes with it. My personal favourites are Animato and Kremlin Dusk <3. I hope her new english album is immensely successful. I really like ULTRA BLUE as well, she seems to have really distanced herself from her R&B music with this. You wouldn't think it was the same girl that sang Automatic all those years ago. The album seems to be hit & miss with a lot of people though, especially older fans.

  21. Yay! She seems to have earned her reputation as Queen of Downloads. And in other news: New song! It is titled Stay Gold and is being used for Asience shampoo commercials. there was some confusion over whether it was her at first as she always announces her songs months in advance. it is unclear yet if this will be a single [physical or download] or an album track, or simply just for the CM. Here the song preview here: 8azLxeB5EEg
  22. ditto ^ I find that the so called 'must read' critical muscial reviews and articles come from newspapers such as 'The Guradian' etc. I personally don't read any music magazine anymore. Most of the information I read about music is online. Sometimes I buy an anime magazine if it has some JPop info in.
  23. 43 Kaila Yu http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/8189/kailawp9.jpg An import model, actress and singer, Kaila Yu is what is known as a triple threat. This half Chinese/Half American myspace superstar is making waves in the entertainment industry. She released her self titled debut in 2003, she has released various songs and mixtapes to her myspace since, and promises her sophmore album 'Candy Coated Sugar Sex'' will be out soon. Mabye I am biased because I am quite friendly with her, but I honestly like her music. her voice is nothing special, but I believe she has a certain something about her, that makes you keep coming back for more. Her songs are ridiculously catchy, and she is an amazingly sweet person. Get Up On You 6hksQse0kfI
  24. 44 Goto Maki http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/262/makirv9.jpg Makira Makira! My favourite member of Hello! Project, a very attractive woman, and great music; what is there to dislike? She came into Morning Musume in their golden years, and became one of the most most loved members by fans and wota alike. Her solo career started off well, although sales have declined as the years have gone on. I can't say her music has changed much through her solo albums, but it is more that she has grown into her sound. When she sings Glass no Pumps she suits it much more than when she was younger singing Ai no Bakayarou. Like the title of her newest album says, she knows how to use sexy, and she's certainly not afraid to show it. Long live Gochin! SOME BOYS! TOUCH zjnZsQxK-8c
  25. 45 Red Hot Chilli Peppers http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/7752/redhotchilipeppersqc5.jpg RHCP are a band that i've always admired, both for their musical skills and longevity. Although they may not be as good as they once were, throughout their career they have made some amazing albums, including ''Californication'', my personal favourite. A recent song from them I really enoyed was Snow my personal favourite off their latest album. I always enjoy the quite manic lyrics, which although crazy, feel like they have genuine emotion behind them. I wiuld love to see them live. Under the Bridge tWHkluThDXQ
