@ Perfecto: I always thought it could be about that, but I also had a feeling it could be directed at the media who label her along the same lines as other popstars and stereotype her. I guess we'll never know though :unsure: This era could have been so amazing; she had the right lookd, the right songs, but it just didn't happen. the whole OF2 album is under-rated imo, and considering the fact only one original single was released and promoted properly [Don't Bother] it feels kind of like Shakira was almost afraid to take any risks after it underperformed. I don't know about anyone else, but it felt as if the Shakira that used to be, just isn't the same musician she once was..

I don't argue that it doesn't, but it's not exactly hard to accomplish xD It just plays it so safe, it loses anything it could have going for it. IMO Kelly shines on ballads, and that's what made 'Simply deep' so great, she knew her strong point, took advantage of it, and the results were obviously good. Ms Kelly is just a really predictable R&B album, which may show promise in some parts, but tries to be something she can't casrry. imo D:~

tragic news, she really is the best contemporary R&B singer, bar none.

I think it's pretty awful also, tbh :lol: The only decent songs were 'Flashback' and 'This is love' I tried to like it, but it's so predictable, and bland :(

Drama isn't a ''barmy'' degree it all, neither is Music, they are just as academic as english, science etc. perhaps Sociology/Media is less so, but if people want to persue degree's in those then good on them. Degrees such as ''golf management'' and others you mentioned may best be suited to becomming ceritifications instead of degrees, but to say a subject like drama is ''barmy'' is quite baffling imo, considering it's been taught and practiced for how many hundreds/thousands of years?

It reminds me a lot of the mother/fathers day type weeks in the UK, where you get a lot of older artists charting with albums, and selling extremely well. Am I right in thinking that Masafumi has only sold 970K [around] this year, while the previous amount came during it's first release, so in theory there isn't a million selling song this year, since it hasn't sold the full million in 2007? im hoping for top 10 places for buriguri and suzuki ami this week. FREE FREE is a great song imo, but I don't know wether people have given up on her after CONNETTA. although ninki haven't even given her a rating, and buriguri got a low one :( thanks for posting as usual :D

I don't know why this is going on still. Frankly, im past caring. Why should one little girl who was abducted due to the negligance of her own parents be taking up so much press coverage around the world? What about the thousands of other girls & women every year that go through this; where is their campaign? If you say something which isn't 110% sympathetic to Maddie you get ambushed as if it's wrong :confused: Of course it is a sad thing, but the only reason the case is so big is that her parents are trying to get sympathy by starting such a ludicrously big campaign, I mean meeting the pope ffs :rolleyes: what good is that going to do? it's not like he's seen her! It's understandable that the parents want to do all they can because it's their daughter [and their fault] but seriously, what about all the other people that go missing? why aren't their families meeting the pope, or attracting such attention?

I find them both kind of level, although I prefer BW. Kremlin Dusk is my favourite Hikki song, it is amazing on Utada United :wub: I think for the amount of crappy songs on Exodus, there were some really good ones to balance it out. She has actually! In 2004 she released a full english album called 'Exodus' - It sold about 1.5 million in Japan, but bombed everywhere else, it really isn't commercial at all, and lost her a lot of Japanese fans, which she's only just re-gained. if you want I could zip it and send it you? ^_^ Here are a selection of the FLUX animations used to promote the album, about 45 second clips of the songs pQGo50sJm8Y Also, she's used melodies from two of her Japanese songs & put different english lyrics in place of them, both of which were theme tunes to the video games kingdom hearts I and II [Passion/Sanctuary - Hikari/Simple & Clean] - and she's also covered Green Days Boulevard Of broken dreams :D
