  1. Poor PUFFY :( I don't hold big hopes for their next album in terms of sales. Seems Ken isn't top 4 of the daily, surprising :o Kuu doesn't seem to have done amazingly on first days, probably sell the same as BUT. Do you think Hikki can outsell Freaky to get the second biggest female single of the year? 499,717 **2,486 PLAY / 安室奈美恵 07/06/27 I guess there's always next week..
  2. Love #1, although I don't think it'll sell as high as LSS, but will hopefully have some longevity along the lines of it. Hikki did 55% of her fw and outsold the competition from last week, how awesome! and what low sales for Ayaka, although the DVD edition is released this week, which may help. glad to see Nakashima Mika hanging in there. Single sales bar #1 and #2 seem incredibly low, but I presume that's the hurricaine effect. Do you know where PUFFY 'Oriental Diamond' ended up? I'm glad i'm not the only one that likes BOOWY  seems the vocalist albums took a tumble this week. Not much interests me in the albums apart from those I just mentioned. Future Releases I hope KinKi Kids beat Kuu, considering 'Ai No Uta' defines bland. I don't like Ken Hirai's song either. I'm assuming Leah Dizon will get a top 10 placing with 'Destiny Line' although I don't want it to. Why she chose to start a singing career in japan when she knew hardly any Japanese in the beginning bewilders me, but I guess it's catchy enough.

    Kanye!! amaze album <3

I will be buying Kanye, but assume KT will chart higher, simply because her last album did so well.
  5. I don't think there is enough  Well, not decent ones anyway. She needs a song like 'Stole' Kelly shines on ballads imo
  6. Considering how much talent he has, and what he's capable of, this is awful.

Just because he's standing up for his work, doesn't make it a tantrum. Tbh, he did deserve that award; ''Stronger'' is awesome. he also knows things like this give him publicity, and considering his album is out this week, i'd say a job well done on that.
  8. Hope she can pull off some good ballads, especially since Michael Cox is involved

Her name was Claudette Ortiz, I don't think I've spelt it right, but it is along those lines :P It was originally called 'Dance Like This' and was produced by Wyclef. The song also samples an old latin song by Jerry Rivera

  11. Oh I forgot out Fiest, she's really good. They seem to be stocking her album in woolworths now also, so hopefully more people will be picking it up.

I heard the Will.I.Am track today, and it's pretty awful. I expected better from someone with so much natural creativity.

I think it's awful. It's looks like the type of thing someone makes on their first time with photoshop

    What an awful chart.
  15. I don't see the point. It won't stop anybody, I doubt many shops will enforce it, and what about the bunch of 16/17 year olds that smoke, is it fair to suddenly turn around and tell them they can't? People treat smokers like second class citizens sometimes.

You could so tell Hannah's mum didn't give a $h!t Melissa died on her floor  The McQueens are annoying me atm, as is the Craig/JP story.
  17. I was thinking that about Ayaka, her recent songs are nice, but I wouldn't say 'hit' material. Her debut has done amazingly though, so im sure her sophmore will do just as good. I'm surprised Hikki has gone up :o I think this really will be a consistent seller, and imo her future releases will be this way. So happy for arashi as well, I've really gotten into them since HYD2
  18. Oh, to add to my best: Namie Amuro: PLAY BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR!! :w00t: :w00t:
  19. Utada Hikaru: With her last album not reaching one million and some lacklusture sales for singles, Hikki really came back big with some incredible tie ins and awesome music. 'Flavor of Life' was not only the key song in the huge drama Hana Yori Dango 2, but is the biggest female song this year and the most downloaded song in world music history. Her new double A-side is amazing, and one of the songs is the ending theme of 'Evangelion' - wouldn't surprise me if it became the second biggest female song of the year, behind FoL. If having the worlds most downloaded song in history isn't a big comeback, I don't know what is :D Avril Lavigne: TBDT is an awesome album, tbh <3 Worst: Kelly Clarkson: Go away, you've never been good. Lately you've gotten worse. Kelly Rowland: She totally didn't deliver with the new album. When you can make an album like 'Simply Deep' then 'Ms Kelly' is a total turn around [not a good thing] Ayumi Hamasaki: Glitter!? capable of far better. Her new songs seem to show that, but Glitter/Fated was another nail in the coffin of her declining career.
  20. Gutted for Hikki, so close to #2 also. I reckon she'll outsell them both in the long run though, especially with the evangelion tie-in. It managed #1 at the box office with a limited screening. Let us hope Otaku's go and buy  Do you know where Aya Matsuura ended up? Come on Arashi!! :w00t: I reckon Ayaka at #2 & Hikki at #3. Hope PUFFY can go top 20 with ''Oriental Diamond'' Wow at the Vocalist albums, The '3' attention must have brough more popularity to 1 & 2, considering they've been in the top 20 for a few weeks. Not much interests me album wise atm :( but there is some pretty big releases coming up soon, which should be good.

Top 40 if it's lucky. It's dreadful. At least the video is good though.

I loved ''Autobiography'' but ''I Am Me'' wasn't too great, being honest.
  23. Jill is awesome. Volume II is one of my favourite albums
