Awesome, Shakira's actually confirmed?! It will help DIA no end, and hopefully, in turn, the album

Tickets are on ticketmaster now. I'll probably be getting tickets now for the o2 date! :D
  3. The x-factor releases normally have a nice wintery ballad vibe about them. Plus like somebody else pointed out earlier on in the thread, really, how many good christmas #1's have we really had? x-factor ruining christmas is just another way for people to complain about the show.
  4. King Danyl will stay until the end  I don't know if Lloyd will go, tbh, he'll still be getting a lot of the teen girl votes. Then again it's hard to call. Maybe Rachel, Lloyd, or possibly Olly

I think Danyl does connect with the public, considering he's the favourite to win and all (not to mention he got the highest % of votes in week 1 - not sure about other weeks). Honestly, tonight was a fluke considering the bottom two - people didn't vote for either of them because they thought both acts were safe. So what if he's overly confident? he's a damn good singer and performer, easily in the top 3 of this years competition. I really don't get the hate from him on here. is it just because he isn't a solo female?

such a shocking bottom two!! and damn Cheryl for sending it to public vote. I loved both acts, but I FAR prefer Danyl, so i'm very happy he stayed, and unles Miss Frank he has a very strong chance of winning the entire show.

I hope there's an x-factor performance, though I get the feeling that she'd mime :( album slips to #28 at the end of week 2

    Top 5 1| Danyl <333 2| Joe 3| Stacey 4| Jaimie 5| Miss Frank Bottom 2 1| Lucie 2| Lloyd
  9. Great sales for Alex, hopefuly it can stick around the top 10 around Christmas :D

His album was actually pretty good I found - he just wasn't marketed right. "Caledonia"
  11. This decade has been pretty weak in terms of British female singers IMO. They sometimes start out strong, but by album 2/3 they're pretty much burned out. I can't think of anybody who's consistantly been good throughout. TBH I think i'd have to go for Lily Allen

I didn't think that Rachel was THAT good tbh, no better than she's been in previous weeks.

I hope that Joe doesn't overtake Danyl as favourite to win :(

DANYL IS AMAZING!! back off haters -_-

Lol at the fact that Louis criticised Jaimie for not singing a big band song. Considering that one of his acts is singing "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin - hardly big band is it?

LOL that is amazing! if only I could be that cool, but I'm sure we all feel the same :(

Heard it a few times, and not really feeling it - the chorus is pretty catchy, but she sounds a lot like a second rate Luciana without any real attitude.
  18. Bon Jovi are still pretty damn big/influential - not to mention their success over the past 20 years. I agree with Craig - a Bon jovi week would be awesome, and would really let people like Danyl, Jamie and Rachel shine.

    YESYESYES
  20. He was humiliated, and he couldn't back himself up in most cases without completely avoiding the question, or back tracking on previous things that he'd said. That said, however, QT could have been far more effective, and quite possibly ruined him, but it didn't. It pretty much pandered around just shouting at him, instead of letting him argue his viewpoint and letting the panelists tear him up. It all seemed a bit too much of a stage show to really be effective IMO. Plus I found Dimbleby to be completely bias. It felt a bit of a disgrace to QT in general, and i think it could have really hurt the BNP. but he won't have lost any fans, even if he won't have gained any either.
  21. WONDER GIRLS GOT A HOT 100 HIT?! :o WTH! Awesome!

    #25 in midweeks :(
  23. Chipmunk is in my sig, not Chris Brown  Though I do prefer Chris to Rihanna musically.
  24. I can see why people like it, plus she'll get a bunch of sympathy sales. terrible song though.

Fantastic album, probably the best debut album by an x-factor winner to date. AAll the fast songs are of as good quality as the ballads, and even in the more "filler" parts of the album, it still sounds really good.
