iTunes Chart // October II
I'm shocked at the love for Cheryl's performance  I thought it was ridiculously weak, though the song itself is alright.

X Factor: The Live Shows - Week 2
Cheryl was TERRIBLE! my housemates and I were just cringing throughout. It's a shame Rikki went he looked really hot tonight :( I hope rachel can avoid the bottom two next week

Eva Simons: Silly boy
There was a stronger drum beat and stuff on the video/radio version, heavier guitar, and some guy shouts at the beginning

"Give It Up To Me" feat. Lil Wayne produced by Timbaland
Ditto ^ it's a good song, but so generic. It'll probably sell the album though, which is the main thing.

Eva Simons: Silly boy
It's so criminal that this flopped :( so much potential, easily one of the best pop songs of 2009. Thugh I didn't like the single edit, much prefer the demo version

She Wolf - The ALBUM
debuts at #4. Shame Madonna pipped her, but still it's great she has another top 5 album!

iTunes US Top 300 [OCT 2009]
I really don't get what's so good about "3". I'm not a Britney fan by any stretch of the imagination, but she's released some pretty good club tracks over the past few years. "3" is just so..lacklusture, especially considering it's huge success so far. it's mind boggling.

She Wolf - The ALBUM
I suppose they really want to focus on the US this time after the effort that OF2 needed to become the success that it was. It makes sense that Europe/ rest of the world where she can sell well regardless gets sorted out

Alexandra Burke - Overcome
She was AMAZING tonight @ MTV> Great performances and so friendly! It's being broadcast on Oct 26th. They're rebranding TMF into "Viva" we talked about Chipmunk
-
David Guetta feat. Estelle - One Love (third single)
I think that although it's a strong song, there are better single chices; see "Memories" and "I Wanna Go Crazy"
-
Susan Boyle - I Dreamed A Dream
Could have been better, but I see what they were trying to go for - I don't mind it.

She Wolf - The ALBUM

Chipmunk ∙ 'I Am Chipmunk' ∙∙∙ 12th October
Amazing album  will totallly buy it once I actually have money to spare (buying Shakira's album will probably put me into my overdraft, lulz). Much better on first listen than tinchy's. far less sellout, far better quality.

She Wolf - The ALBUM
I've given the album a bunch of listens, and I've formed a proper opinion of the album. I was unsure at first, it feels sort of half staying to her roots, half sellout, which she sometimes flits between. Though thinking about it, it's probably the best route to go down, since this way she's combining artistic integrity, and the reasons she so commercially successful in English markets. It's what a lot of people have wanted her to do, and she's finally mixed them both successfully in the same songs. In terms of consistency, it feels like her strongest since Pies Descalzos, unlike an album like OF2, which although i think is stronger (maybe that will change in time), it tried to embrace a whole bunch of styles. Also the whole sexier vibe of the album relates to Shakira feeling more confident and womanly. This is probably her "sexy" album. Also, although she may not tackle a whole bunch of issues lyrically, she sounds at her most natural in English here, whilst still maintaining her quirky style. Almost as if she's can write without trying now. I think the Spanish album will be a lot more musically fulfilling, but i'm very much pleased with this effort as well. Also I just saw an advert for the album, they play HDL

Delta Goodrem
"Innocent Eyes" the album was amazing at the time, not a bad song on it. Can't say i've really paid any attention to her since her second album though.

She Wolf - The ALBUM
Really like it on first listen. Not as diverse as OF2, but consitently strong, and mixes commercial and classic Shaki well on almost all songs. Love the folky arabic hybrid that seems to be on much of the songs. a better review once I've got to know the songs. It feels like she's pandering to stereotypes of herself, whilst retaining her originality (mostly in her lyrics), which is probably the best thing to do.

where can I find a link? :o

X Factor Odds Thread
Danyl and Jamie "overrated pub singers?" my god. Apart from Stacey, talent wise nobody comes close to either of those two, a complete league above everybody else.
