The thing is Petal is quite a strange song so for it to still be top 20 is a great achievement. Also the live version is so brilliant. She needs to release that!

When was her live UK tour? 2013 for Bangerz right? I know she did nightclubs for the Mark Ronson duet and then did festivals for She is Miley Cyrus but she's not actually done a proper live show here since 2013...

I'd be interested in new songs from Glitter - this and Rainbow are two of her more underrated records though she's been on the Justice for Glitter train since I saw her do Caution at Royal Albert Hall.

I might need to relisten to LM5 actually as I honestly thought Get Weird was their peak musically. I thought Glory Days was them chasing commercial, LM5 was honestly just noise for me and Confetti - now I regard this one really highly - but loads of people say it's full of bsides and the girls were super checked out.

I see what you mean but it would need a break between - it was weird that she promoting a new image as a grown up with Slave 4 U then being America's sweet angel in Crossroads.

This reminds me a bit of when Flux was released - it was sort of just released with little promo to my memory and then everything died. I was surprised it even made the album though its a great song.

Didn’t she have a follow up to Sonething Beautiful planned in the vein of Dead Petz & Lockdown? Has that been cancelled? Anyway gonna say it but Mikeys last 2 albums have been a bit meh. ESV felt phoned in & SB i don’t know what it is but it just felt really loud.

Also it was different - Waka Waka wasn't even that prominant when it was out weirdly and wasn't promoted as much as Dai Dai has been (similiarly to La La La in 2014).

I'm really into both songs - I can see such a growth with Carly (it's been that way since Dedicated TBH).

Its so wild this is Shakira's biggest hit in the UK since Beautiful Liar when everywhere else in the world Bizzarap was such a hit

I know she's had more success since with Eurovision and soon-to-be Strictly, but she did barely sell 2 out of the 4 levels of SBE 2 /3 years ago so the Palladium feels a little ambition alongside the other shows but I went to her Earth show and that was full of people who didn't really know much of her music except the hits, so perhaps there is a new audience.

I love Less but find Honeysuckle and Begged a snooze. the rest of the album is wonderful!
