I see what people are saying about the Charli XCX comparisons - especially with her being a co-writer but Selena has steered into similiar lanes before - I'm thinking B.E.A.T on her first album is quite similiar. I did not realise this was a single? I thought Ojos Triste was headed in that direction as it seems to have a lot of plays on spotify.

I just think they should have released the clean version as the main single and then had the explicit as a back-up / special release / remix later down the line. Having the explicit blocked her views on YouTube, maybe even streaming too. :(

I see a lot of people online say she needs a DJ collab and I'm curious - in the grand scheme of things - what will it actually do? It would put her akin with Ella Henderson & Becky Hill but their careers are a bit touch & go?

I really liked Delusional but the other 2 tracks are not really my bag - I really enjoyed parts of Rainbow and High Road and fully loved Gag Order so this all feels a bit back step for me - hope they grow!

From what I'm seeing online there is a huge discourse about what is going on. Some are saying this is a version of the album Jade has submitted - I believe she has discussed a lot of these tracks in interviews already. I'm curious how these have leaked. Some are saying RCA have scrapped the album - which makes zero sense as she's got the biggest performance slot of her career in 2 weeks and if there was not a pre-order ready for then, her team would be mad. In reality, the leak won't have any long term effect on her - if her fans can't stream her songs enough to get her top 40, their not going to go looking online for links to songs. I just hope this does not deflate her and it's part of some strategy as being the ultimate pop diva she is - leaked music behind a thing that happened to artists like Charli XCX, Madison Tate & Lana Del Rey.

I don't want to seem like I'm slating Perrie at all but what is going on with her solo career? There seems to be no structure or plan? Even the plan of "throw something out and see if it takes off" doesn't seem like it has been thought of.
