Royce da 5’9”, Black Thought, Q-Tip & Denaun - Yah Yah (197-224) ¥$- BURN (196-225) Leah Kate - What Girls Do Four songs from 2025 make their debuts in this section, coming from Megan Moroney, Sabrina Carpenter x2 and Saba/No ID/MFnMelo. What Girls Do took a few listens but the 2010 sound really won me over. It feels a bit soon for teens nostalgia but here we are. The video really matches the song which is always a sign of a strong vision for a track. BURN was the moment that made everyone feel temporarily feel like the old Kanye was back. The most focused and witty he’s sounded for a long time. It does feel like this was a lost track from the Pablo era. Ty’s chorus is so smooth too. If it was longer, it would be landing much higher. Yah Yah is more nostalgic sounds from veteran MCs. It has Q-tip on the hook, Ice Cube and Wu-Tang references in the post-chorus, Eminem throwing everything at the mic and Black Thought showing why he’s one of the most underrated rappers in the world. “Broads say my bars is like ASMR” - very true Black Thought. Do It was a great pop hit from the two sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey. The remix with City Girls, Doja Cat & Latto gave it a boost at the time but it wouldn’t be the version I would listen to now. It's still sounding good and holding up better than the Eminem tracks either side of it. I Will was originally behind 'Yah Yah' in my estimations but the strong chorus from Em has made me go back to it more. A Slaughterhouse reunion (sans Joe Budden), I wasn't too familiar with Crooked's other work but he has the standout verse here. Although all the verses come stacked with crazy punchlines. Sorry 'Stateside' but Boy's a liar is still Pink's best remix. It's crazy how much I loved this after not enjoying the solo original. Ice Spice isn't a good rapper but sometimes artists just find the right material to bring something out of them and there's no one else I could see doing this with the song. It's crazy how she also made one of the worst big-name remixes in the same year ('Karma'). Perrie's solo debut single was the most traditionally Little Mix out of all of them. She definitely had the strongest voice in the group which Forget About Us gives her ample opportunity to show off. Written by Ed Sheeran, I have no idea why he doesn't keep any songs as good as this for himself. One Foot In was my introduction to Stove God Cooks and what an introduction it was. His verse is a masterstroke in adding quirky adlibs and little inflections in his performance to make it all the more exhilarant and standout in a crowded market. Hit-Boy knows what he's doing when it comes to making hits too and his beat is fire. love is embarrassing was a massive highlight on GUTS. The affected style of the bridge and outro is addictive and was a clear sign of the more adventurous side of her second album. Olivia has a new song coming out tomorrow as I write this and I’m very excited to hear. (Update - Now it's out, I'm already obsessed). Lil Nas X's adlibs on HE KNOWS are great and fell like the most Hip-Hop inspired thing he's ever done. It reminds me so much of Kanye's gun-sound scatting on 'Feel The Love'. Camila is a star as usual and its a really good use of a non-obvious sample. Blonde was the bold, suitably chaotic introduction to a new era of Maisie and it's a style she's stuck with for four years now. If this was attached to an album, it would be holding up much better. Blue is a very Lana Del Rey sounding track from Madison. The piercing, harsh synths in the chorus contrast perfectly with her heavenly vocals. I enjoy the wordplay of the ‘I know when to run when my make-up does’. It feels like it should be overused but this was the first place I heard it. I'm a unique person for enjoying the solo Girl, so confusing more than the Lorde remix. Despite this list showing that I’m not adverse to Lorde in general. While it’s probably not another world-famous pop-star for most people, I think people could really relate to the feeling of not knowing if a friend really likes you which makes the song hit home. Red Wine Supernova was the song that got me into Chappell and there’s no surprise to see Dan Nigro on the production after he helped create Olivia Rodrigo’s chart-dominating sound. ‘I heard you like magic, I’ve got a wand and a rabbit’ will forever be an iconic line. I haven't quite got into their recent comeback attempt but their previous, React, really worked for me. Amazing video and The Pussycat Dolls's second best behind ‘Don’t Cha’ for me. I seriously don’t think I hear anyone else’s voice than Nicole’s in the whole song though lol. I wasn't sold on Tate after 'you broke me first, but feel like shit quickly turned me around. Tate is (now) obviously a trained dancer but I didn't know it at the time and she uses those skills to great effect in this video. The song is one of her slower ones but the simpler production allows her unique tone to shine. The one criticism I may have of Houdini is that the last 30-seconds where the production becomes the star, should have gone on for longer. After the whole build-up, we deserved more of a release than that. I don’t think she fully committed to this sound with the album to its detriment. A 30-second instrumental intro is a bold move for a song that features two of the best vocalists currently in R&B but it just works in Unloyal. Summer sounds lovely but Ari completely steals the show with her insane performance. It's a traditional style overall but they have the voices to make it feel fresh. Hearing Yoko live in Liverpool before it was released was such a cool moment for me. It had a lot to live up to when it finally was released and I'm happy to say it didn't let me down. One of my favourite of Maisie's slower songs. TRUST! is simply just a massive banger. Completely unsubtle but all the elements come together well so well to make you want to move. Some great hooks and Rebecca really sells the campiness. It's crazy how far she’s came since 'Friday' (the song, not the day). Comparing Boss Bitch to her other entries in this section really highlights that Doja's biggest strength is in her versatility. 'You Right' is an archetypal R&B classic, 'BMO' shows off her rapping ability, while this is an electro-pop club banger. I forgot how much this actually goes off.

  4. 26. One Battle After Another - £11.8 million Some search for battle. Some are born into it. When their evil nemesis resurfaces after 16 years, a band of ex-revolutionaries reunite to rescue the daughter of one of their own. Director: Paul Thomas Anderson Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro Release Date: 26th September 2025 Distributor: Warner Bros. Certification: 15 Genre: Drama Rotten Tomatoes: 94% IMDb: 7.7 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-2-2-5-7-10-12 (7 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,471,784 (#1) The winner of the Best Picture at the recent Oscars ceremony, this was Paul Thomas Anderson's first time with a big budget and the results align with this making more than double than his previous biggest hit 'There Will Be Blood' (£4.9 million, 2008). To show just how much of a draw DiCaprio is, this was still £1 million short from entering his personal top 10 films of all-time. The best comparison I can think of for this is 'Killers Of The Flower Moon' (£9.9 million, EOY #26, 2023) as that was another awards favourite, epic with a massive budget from an auteur director. It's budget was so high (around $150 million) that it probably has been a bit of a money-loser for Warner Bros. but when it earned this many awards, they'll probably accept that.
  5. 27. Final Destination: Bloodlines - £11.6 million Death runs in the family. Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all. Director: Zach Lipovsky & Adam B. Stein Cast: Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon Release Date: 14th May 2025 Distributor: Warner Bros. Certification: 15 Genre: Horror Rotten Tomatoes: 92% IMDb: 6.7 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-3-6-6-7-11 (6 weeks) Opening Weekend: £4,009,856 (#1) 2025 was a great year for horror with this being the first of five films in the genre to pass £10 million. For context, only 'Alien: Romulus' (£13.4 million, EOY #21) did it in 2024 and only 'Five Nights At Freddy's' (£10.6 million, EOY #24) did it in 2023. The sixth film in the death-defying series, this came out 15-years after the previous film ('Final Destination 5', £5.3 million) and completely reinvigorated the franchise becoming the best reviewed and biggest film in the franchise worldwide, making over 6x its budget. In the UK, it had to settle as being the second biggest film after 'The Final Destination' (£12.7 million, 2009) rode the 3D-boom to become one of the biggest horrors of all-time.
  6. 28. Snow White - £11.6 million The classic tale comes to life. Following the benevolent King’s disappearance, the Evil Queen dominated the once fair land with a cruel streak. Princess Snow White flees the castle when the Queen, in her jealousy over Snow White’s inner beauty, tries to kill her. Deep into the dark woods, she stumbles upon seven magical dwarves and a young bandit named Jonathan. Together, they strive to survive the Queen’s relentless pursuit and aspire to take back the kingdom. Director: Marc Webb Cast: Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot, Andrew Burnap Release Date: 21st March 2025 Distributor: Disney Certification: PG Genre: Kids Rotten Tomatoes: 39% IMDb: 2.2 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-1-3-5-6-11-14-12 (8 weeks) Opening Weekend: £3,856,173 (#1) The film with the most disastrous production of 2025, 'Snow White' was filmed in 2023 and seemed to face controversy after controversy before reaching the big screen. Peter Dinklage criticised it's announcement in 2022 for the use of dwarves in the story, Zegler shared some (mild) criticisms of the original animated film which paired with her not being white led to the worst people on the internet hating her and there was a reported feud between Zegler and Gadot for their opposing views on the Arab-Israeli conflict. All of this led to the film being 'protested', becoming the most disliked trailer in YouTube history and being review-bombed (look at that ridiculous 2.2 IMDb rating). The budget has been reported as being anything between $270-330 million and it only made $200 million making it one of the biggest bombs of 2025. I saw it (because I love Zegler) and thought it was ok. Disney's other live-action remake last year was much more successful.
  7. 29. The Roses - £10.3 million All's fair when love is war. Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy and Theo: successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites. Director: Jay Roach Cast: Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Samberg Release Date: 29th August 2025 Distributor: Disney Certification: 15 Genre: Comedy Rotten Tomatoes: 64% IMDb: 6.6 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-2-5-5-6-11-12 (7 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,183,191 (#1) We have our first 2025 film to pass £10 million. With 29 films doing so, this is one more than in 2024 and four more than in 2023. This is a remake of the 1989 film 'The War Of The Roses' directed by Danny DeVito which was adapted from a 1981 novel. Like I said with 'We Live In Time', I think a lot of this film's success relies on the paring of the lead actors. One of the best-performing British films of the year, Olivia Colman has proved to be a bit of a cheat code for selling British comedies in recent years with 2024's 'Wicked Little Letters' (£9.6 million, EOY #31) also being a huge hit.
  8. 30. The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants - £8.9 million Ship's about to go down. Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman, a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate, on a seafaring adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before. Director: Derek Drymon Cast: Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass Release Date: 26th December 2025 Distributor: Paramount Certification: PG Genre: Kids Rotten Tomatoes: 79% IMDb: 5.7 Top 15 Chart Run: 3-5-6-9-11-11-15-x-14 (8 weeks) Opening Weekend: £3,040,355 (#3) Surprisingly, as I don't feel like SpongeBob is as ubiquitous as it once did, this became the most successful SpongeBob movie in the UK, smashing the £8 million of 'SpongeBob: Sponge Out Of Water' (2015) which makes you wonder how well the third SpongeBob film would have done if it didn't skip cinemas during the pandemic. It nearly trebled it's budget worldwide so expect more big screen adventures to come. It must have been the Ice Spice effect!
  9. Brentford 2-1 Fulham Leeds 2-0 Wolves Newcastle 2-1 Bournemouth Tottenham 2-2 Brighton Chelsea 2-1 Man Utd Aston Villa 2-1 Sunderland Everton 1-2 Liverpool Nottingham Forest 1-0 Burnley Man City 3-1 Arsenal Crystal Palace 1-1 West Ham
  10. 31. Freakier Friday - £8.9 million Here we go again. Years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis, Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover lightning might indeed strike twice.. Director: Nisha Ganatra Cast: Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Julia Butters Release Date: 8th August 2025 Distributor: Disney Certification: PG Genre: Comedy Rotten Tomatoes: 73% IMDb: 6.2 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-4-2-5-4-8-11-15 (8 weeks) Opening Weekend: £1,758,698 (#2) Lindsay Lohan's big comeback was a big success with this making more than $150 million worldwide against a $45 million budget. This has become her biggest ever hit in the UK, beating out (you wouldn't guess) 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' with made £6.7 million in 2005. The (kinda) original 'Freaky Friday' was only really a cult-hit and made £6.6 million in 2003. Released only a week after 'The Naked Gun', this opened slightly lower but hung around stronger and ended up comfortably winning the legacy-comedy-sequel war.
  11. 32. We Live In Time - £8.7 million Every minute counts. An up-and-coming chef and a recent divorcée find their lives forever changed when a chance encounter brings them together, in a decade-spanning, deeply moving romance. Director: John Crowley Cast: Andrew Garfield, Florence Pugh, Grace Delaney Release Date: 1st January 2025 Distributor: StudioCanal Certification: 15 Genre: Drama Rotten Tomatoes: 79% IMDb: 7.0 Top 15 Chart Run: 3-4-5-8-12 (5 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,843,517 (#3) Back-to-back British dramas, this one more on the romantic-side and dating all the way back to 1st January 2025. It seemed like it used to be a regular occurrence for films to mainly be sold based on their lead actors, but it doesn't happen often anymore. This one was definitely a throwback in that the marketing definitely highlighted the chemistry between Garfield and Pugh more than anything else (although the viral carousel horse meme probably helped too). This did really well with $60 million bagged worldwide and with Film4 producing, I'm imagining a low budget.
  12. 33. The Salt Path - £8.1 million Life. One step at a time. A couple lose their home and later discover the husband has been diagnosed with a terminal illness as they embark on a year long coastal trek. Director: Marianne Elliott Cast: Gillian Anderson, Jason Isaacs, James Lance Release Date: 30th May 2025 Distributor: Black Bear Certification: 12A Genre: Drama Rotten Tomatoes: 85% IMDb: 6.6 Top 15 Chart Run: 4-4-4-6-9-12-11 (7 weeks) Opening Weekend: £1,479,569 (#4) A great British hit over the summer, 'The Salt Path' is an adaptation of the 2018 memoir by Raynor Winn about how she and her husband walked the 630-mile South West Coast Path after losing their home. It's opening weekend was the best ever 3-day opening for distributors Black Bear, although it was behind the preview-inflated opening of 'Ferrari' in 2023. Shortly after the film was released, the Observer published a piece refuting two of the major claims of the novel (and the film), stating that the reason the couple lost the home was because Winn stole £64k from her employer and couldn't afford to repay it and claimed that her husband did not suffer from CBD.
  13. 34. The Naked Gun - £7.6 million Look out crime. He's fully armed. Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world: Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. Following in his father’s footsteps, he must solve a murder case to prevent Police Squad from closure. Director: Akiva Schaffer Cast: Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser Release Date: 1st August 2025 Distributor: Paramount Certification: 15 Genre: Comedy Rotten Tomatoes: 87% IMDb: 6.3 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-4-7-7-14-13 (6 weeks) Opening Weekend: £1,815,858 (#2) A reboot of the classic parody trilogy (1988-1994) starring Leslie Nielsen, 'The Naked Gun' saw Liam Neeson step into his shoes and was a rare-success in the 'long awaited comedy sequel/reboot genre'. The Lonely Island's Akiva Schaffer directed and manage to keep a pretty consistent, but still fresh, tone compared to the original trilogy. I love the original 1988 film and thought this was a pretty solid effort. It was great to see some broad comedy thrive on the big screen last year. It will be interesting to see how the 'Scary Movie' sequel does this year.
  14. 35. Mickey 17 - £7.1 million He's dying to save mankind. Unlikely hero Mickey Barnes finds himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living. Director: Bong Joon Ho Cast: Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun Release Date: 7th March 2025 Distributor: Warner Bros. Certification: 15 Genre: Sci-Fi Rotten Tomatoes: 78% IMDb: 6.7 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-1-5-7-11 (5 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,132,080 (#1) Bong Joon Ho left us waiting in anticipation for 5-years since his last film 'Parasite' became the biggest foreign-language film of all-time in the UK (£12 million+) after winning Best Picture at the Oscars. His eventual return was 'Mickey 17' an ambitious Sci-Fi which was his second Hollywood production and his largest budget ($118 million). The film did pretty well for an original sci-fi premise ($130 million worldwide) but it was just that ridiculously large budget that harmed it. Robert Pattinson continued his off-kilter movie career with an incredibly odd accent.
  15. 36. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle - £7 million A place where only the strong stand. The Demon Slayer Corps are drawn into the Infinity Castle, where Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the Hashira face terrifying Upper Rank demons in a desperate fight as the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji begins. Director: Haruo Sotozaki Cast: Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kitō, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka Release Date: 12th September 2025 Distributor: Sony Certification: 15 Genre: Anime Rotten Tomatoes: 98% IMDb: 8.4 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-3-9-12 (4 weeks) Opening Weekend: £3,464,393 (#2) Bagging over $780 million worldwide and having the best debut weekend for an anime film of all-time in the UK, there's absolutely nothing negative you can say about this film's run. The only 'traditionally animated' film that has made more money worldwide is 1994's 'The Lion King'. I remember how massive the £5.1 million 'The Boy And The Heron' (EOY #48, 2023) felt at the time but this just shows how much the UK is adopting the genre as of late. The only anime film bigger in the UK than this remains 'Pokémon: The First Movie' from 2000 (£10.8 million). I wonder if the either of the upcoming sequels to this could become the film to finally beat it.
  16. 37. Now You See Me: Now You Don't - £6.9 million Unlock the illusion. The original Four Horsemen reunite with a new generation of illusionists to take on powerful diamond heiress Veronika Vanderberg, who leads a criminal empire built on money laundering and trafficking. The new and old magicians must overcome their differences to work together on their most ambitious heist yet. Director: Ruben Fleischer Cast: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco Release Date: 14th November 2025 Distributor: Lionsgate Certification: 12A Genre: Thriller Rotten Tomatoes: 60% IMDb: 5.9 Top 15 Chart Run: 1-2-3-6-7-13-15 (7 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,384,018 (#1) Surprisingly, this was the first film from the trilogy to reach #1 in the UK Box office (by £750) and saw an increase on 2016's 'Now You See Me 2' (£6.3 million). To show how consistent the three films opened, this officially had the worst opening of the three films but when you strip out previews, it had the best 3-day opening of the trilogy. This sees the original cast return (with Isla Fisher coming back after missing the sequel) but also sees the introduction of the next generation (Dominic Sessa, Justice Smith and Ariana Greenblatt) so looks well-placed for any future adventures.
  17. 38. Five Nights At Freddy's 2 - £6.8 million You there? One year since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the stories about what transpired there have been twisted into a campy local legend, inspiring the town’s first ever Fazfest. With the truth kept from her, Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, setting into motion a terrifying series of events that will reveal dark secrets about the real origin of Freddy’s, and unleash a decades-hidden horror. Director: Emma Tammi Cast: Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail Release Date: 5th December 2025 Distributor: Universal Certification: 15 Genre: Horror Rotten Tomatoes: 16% IMDb: 5.1 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-3-5-11-15 (5 weeks) Opening Weekend: £3,256,485 (#2) I don't think anyone saw just how popular the original 'Five Nights At Freddy's' (£10.6 million, EOY #24, 2023) was going to be. It was the biggest horror film of 2023 and was Blumhouse's biggest ever release. Just like the first film, this had a strong opening weekend and then had absolutely no legs which shows that the video-game adaptations have a dedicated fanbase but little appeal outside of the die-hards. It doesn't help that the games have a very young fanbase (and are certified PG-13 in the US) and the 15-rating is restrictive. I wonder how much this would have made if you we're able to count kids buying tickets for other films to sneak into it?
  18. 39. I Swear - £6.3 million I blink. I twitch. I jump. I click. I whistle. I shout. Inspired by the life of John Davidson, charting his journey from a misunderstood teenager in 1980’s Britain to a present day advocate for the understanding and acceptance of Tourette Syndrome. Diagnosed aged fifteen, John navigates his way against the odds through troubled teenage years and into adulthood, finding inspiration in the kindness of others to discover his true purpose in life. Director: Kirk Jones Cast: Robert Aramayo, Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson Release Date: 10th October 2025 Distributor: StudioCanal Certification: 15 Genre: Biopic Rotten Tomatoes: 100% IMDb: 8.4 Top 15 Chart Run: 3-3-6-7-8-15 (6 weeks) Opening Weekend: £1,185,756 (#3) A huge success for UK cinema, this film scored the best ever PostTrak score (87%) from audiences, saw lead-actor Robert Aramayo win a BAFTA and bagged a great £6.3 million at the UK Box Office. This film has unfortunately now become part of a huge controversy after the events that happened at the BAFTAs. I'm intrigued to see how this effects it's US-release this month. I expect that 100% Rotten Tomatoes score to be ruined at least.
  19. 40. Regretting You - £6.2 million Risk everything. Regret nothing. Morgan Grant and her daughter Clara explore what’s left behind after a devastating accident reveals a shocking betrayal and forces them to confront family secrets, redefine love, and rediscover each other. Director: Josh Boone Cast: Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco Release Date: 24th October 2025 Distributor: Paramount Certification: 12A Genre: Drama Rotten Tomatoes: 29% IMDb: 6.0 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-2-3-8-12 (5 weeks) Opening Weekend: £1,275,980 (#2) Kicking off the top 40 and comfortably outgrossing the film that pipped it to #1 ('Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere', #54), 'Regretting You' makes it two years in a row where we had a break-out adaptation of a Coleen Hoover novel. after 'It Ends With Us' (£21.7 million, EOY #13, 2025). The one is still in the headlines now with the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni lawsuits still taking place but thankfully it seems that this films stars Allison Williams, Dave Franco, Mckenna Grace & Mason Thames all got on well with the latter two even starting a romantic relationship.

Bed Chem has been helped by its fun tour performances which has resulted in the small drop year-on-year. Some of Sabrina's least-subtle inuendo. You Right was a slower, more R&B release from Doja at a time where she releasing pure pop bangers. The Weeknd is ever-dependable on the featured verse and I should go back to it more than I do. Back-to-back R&B Doja with BMO coming next. This is one of those songs where the remix makes the song 10x better. Doja Cat is on fire, fitting in about 100 different flows into her 25-second verse. But Ari Lennox has one of the best vocals in the game and this more upbeat style works so well for her. It's title based on a quote from The Matrix, Madison has claimed that the film was a key-influence on Follow The White Rabbit and its parent album and you can hear it in some of the industrial sounds. It's a pretty edgy track in many ways and commendable for a debut album for an aspiring pop star. I knew Ty Dolla $ign had a good voice but it feels like appearing alongside Ariana on safety net has inspired him to find an extra level from somewhere. He kills his feature on this lovely slice of R&B. The type of song Ariana can make in her sleep. Psycho is by far the biggest guilty pleasure song in this list. I still don’t have a TikTok account but that’s where Dixie found her fame and her charting songs in the UK are absolute tosh. This isn’t great but there’s something there that got stuck in my head. There’s a much better song called 'Psycho' still to come. I'm so sorry Caroline that you're only (lead) hit in my chart doesn't actually feature you on it at all. I absolutely adore Charli's rapping on Welcome To My Island. An extra verse and less outro and this would feature much higher. The original's ok too I guess. Toxic Trait was the moment when Stormzy’s dominant phase was confirmed to be over. A traditional UK rap song produced by Dave and featuring Fredo and it completely flopped. Fredo is the star of the show with an effortless verse while Stormzy felt like he was searching for a memea-ble bar (Kate Bush and Greta Thunberg get referenced). I never expected a 'humorous' interlude starring Fredo and Allison Hammond though. FIFTY FIFTY walked so HUNTR/X could run. Cupid was the first legitimately massive western hit for a K-Pop group that wasn’t largely carried by a rabid fanbase. The original Korean version gets my vote for its additional rap verse which is what made me fall in love with the track. I wonder how many other songs in this list have a Westlife-esque key change? None of My Business is a very summery song and accompanying video combo from ITZY which sounded great on my Prague holiday of summer 2023 and helped it to top my weekly chart. Although it's probably the least memorable of their 7 #1 hits in my chart. eternal sunshine is the track that most directly connects with the film it gets the title from. I love how you would likely have a different interpolation of the meaning if you haven’t seen the movie. The high vocals throughout do not sound that natural but her voice is so brilliant that she pulls it off. Has there ever been two rappers who make it sound as effortless as Black Thought and MF DOOM do on Belize? Danger Mouse deserves a lot of credit for being unselfish and creating a perfectly unflashy beat that allows the two MCs to take centre-stage and shine. I always think BET ON ME is just alright when I put it on but by the end I'm ready to call it a massive banger. I enjoy RYUJIN's rap and the chorus is seemingly unsuspecting but grows on you so much while it's still going on. LUMBERJACK feels very much like an interlude but its so effective at being super hyper with DJ Drama’s adlibs adding so much to the madness. His ‘that’s seven’ lives rent free in my head. It’s a mess, but a controlled mess. 360 is classic BRAT! While I haven’t been going back to the album as a whole much recently, the singles are sounding better than ever. This is just effortlessly cool. SNEAKERS is probably the most derided lead single of ITZYs and it does get dangerously close to childish at times but I find it just too catchy to deny. LIA sounds great on it too which certainly helps. Love Again reworks the same sample as White Town’s ‘Your Woman’ and creates a fresh, but familiar, sound that really works for me. Dua is a good singer but her vocals are not usually the stand-out feature but there’s some little vocal cracks in here that I love. JISOO's pre-chorus in Typa Girl >>> They all always seem to have a ball performing this one live and I can see why. It’s so fun and they all get ample chance to shine. The organ(?) sound is so different but I kinda love it.
  24. 41. Six: The Musical Live! - £6.2 million See the original queens hit the big screen. The pop-inspired musical brings the six wives of Henry VIII right into the 21st century with infectious, empowering performances, accompanied by the on-stage band, the Ladies in Waiting. The Original West End cast reunites at London’s Vaudeville Theatre in front of a sold-out audience to strut their stuff and re-write their Tudor traumas in an unmissable cinematic recording of the show packed full of style, sass, and sensational songs. Director: Liz Clare Cast: Aimie Atkinson, Alexia McIntosh, Millie O'Connell Release Date: 6th April 2025 Distributor: Universal Certification: 12A Genre: Theatre Rotten Tomatoes: n/a IMDb: 8.5 Top 15 Chart Run: 2-3-7-14-x-15 (5 weeks) Opening Weekend: £2,139,374 (#2) The biggest even-cinema release of the year falls just short of the top 40. This was released on a Sunday so that £2 million opening weekend was from just one-day gross. This was officially the 2nd biggest day for an event cinema release of all-time, marginally behind the £2.4 million 'The Eras Tour' made in its opening day. Unsurprisingly, 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' (£12.2 million, EOY #22, 2013) is the only event-cinema release that's made more without re-releases. Jodie Comer's 'Prima Facie: NT Live 2022' made £5.5 million in 2022 but added another £3.1 million on re-release in 2023.
