25th September 2026 - 27th September 2026 1. (RE) Avengers: Endgame Encore - £4,123,123 Weeks: 1 (£4,123,123) 2. (01) Resident Evil - £2,233,845 (-47%) Weeks: 2 (£8,629,328) 3. (NE) Heart Of The Beast - £2,070,025 Weeks: 1 (£2,070,025) 4. (NE) Sense And Sensibility - £1,536,410 Weeks: 1 (£1,536,410) 5. (03) Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom - £816,653 (-45%) Weeks: 2 (£2,528,302) 6. (02) Practical Magic 2 - £773,109 (-49%) Weeks: 3 (£7,046,073) 7. (04) Pressure - £577,063 (-46%) Weeks: 3 (£5,654,995) 8. (05) The Odyssey - £365,742 (-38%) Weeks: 11 (£86,569,880) 9. (06) Spider-Man: Brand New Day - £312,050 (-46%) Weeks: 9 (£99,515,590) 10. (NE) The Paradise - £265,303 Weeks: 1 (£265,303) Falling out: Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger (2 weeks) Bad Apples (1 week) The Transformers: The Movie (40th Anniversary Re-Release) (1 week) Insidious: Out Of The Further (5 weeks) Before this weekend, the record for the biggest ever opening weekend belonged to 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’ which earned a preview-boosted £43,400,000 on original week. Well, said Avengers have assembled again and we can now say that the biggest ever re-release opening weekend also belongs to ‘Avengers: Endgame’ as the ‘Encore’ opens at #1 with £4,123,123. The previous record holder was the special edition re-release of the original ‘Star Wars’ which made £3,702,720 debuting at #1 in 1997. On original release ‘Avengers: Endgame’ earned £88.7 million which ranks it #9 in the all-time rankings. Even with this historic release, it still needs another £2.5 million or so to catch ‘Spectre’ at #8. Marvel are truly back with a vengeance after last year’s disappointment (no films in the year end top 10) and ‘Doomsday’ is looming. The highest new entry this week is ‘Heart Of The Beast’ (£2,070,025, £1.5 million without previews, #3). This is down on the last David Ayer/Brad Pitt collaboration ‘Fury’, which remains Ayer’s best non-‘Suicide Squad’ opening with £2,692,786 (#1) in 2014. A survival thriller two-parter between Brad Pitt and a German Shepherd, this has earned decent reviews and seems to have good buzz so I can see this holding well. ‘Fury’ made about £8.3 million which is ambitious for this one. Opening a place behind is ‘Sense And Sensibility’ (£1,536,410, #4). Despite ok reviews and a previously consistent British lead (Daisy Edgar-Jones), this result has got to be considered disappointing. Earlier in the year, another adaptation of a classic early 19th century novel, ‘Wuthering Heights’ (£7,665,296, #1) caused a storm and the previous adaptation of this book (Ang Lee’s 1995 effort) made more on debut (reported as £2,245,052, #1) and about £13 million in total before inflation. The previous Jane Austen adaptation, ‘Emma’ (£1,635,797, #6) opened similarly in 2020 and was the final film I saw in cinemas before the lockdown. However, her most popular novel remains ‘Pride And Prejudice’ and 2005’s adaptation opened with £2,529,947 (#1) and made over £14 million before re-releases. The final new entry this week is ‘The Paradise’ (£265,303, #10). This has just about sneaked into the top 10, grossing less than £2k more than ‘Bad Apples’ at #11. This is an Indian action film set in the 1980s about a tribe battling against discrimination and oppression. Last week’s #1, ‘Resident Evil’ sees a 47% drop on weekend two. It’s already the third biggest horror film of the year after the two big ones in the summer and has made almost double the £4.8 million of previous franchise peak, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’. Last week’s other big release ‘Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom’ has a good hold (-45%, -22% without previews) and is up to £2.5 million. ‘Practical Magic 2’ is up to £7 million but loses another 49% in week 3 while ‘Pressure’ loses 46% but is now at an impressive £5.7 million. It’s now Andrew Scott’s biggest lead role, overtaking ‘All Of Us Strangers’ (£5.3 million in 2014). And just about keeping summer alive, ‘The Odyssey’ (-38%) and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ (-46%) hold on for another week. ‘Spider-Man’ is so close to the £100 million club now. There are three further new entries in the #11-#15 section: ‘Hope’ (#12), ‘The Misanthrope: NT Live 2025’ (#13) and ‘The Lost Children Of Tuam’ (#15). Next week sees the openings of ‘Digger’, ‘Verity’, ‘The Weight’, ‘Girls Like Girls’, ‘Knife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie’, ‘Extra Geography’, ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, ‘Cotton Queen’, ‘April X’ and ‘Derek vs Derek’. We also see a re-release of ‘Take It Or Leave It’. Can any of them top the charts? ~ David Ayer Openings: Harsh Times (£281,609, #11, 2005) Street Kings (£619,647, #4, 2008) Sabotage (£300,521, #7, 2014) Fury (£2,692,786, #1, 2014) Suicide Squad (£11,252,225, #1, 2016) The Beekeeper (£956,380, #5, 2024) A Working Man (£658,134, #3, 2025) Heart Of The Beast (£2,070,025, #3, 2026)
  2. This closes tonight at around 8pm. Looks like it’s going to be a close one so want to make sure everyone gets a chance to vote.
  3. Break Free (feat. Zedd) Side To Side (feat. Nicki Minaj) God is a woman eternal sunshine off the table (with The Weeknd) fake smile oh well Lovin' It Break Free and it's iconic video wins for me. It looks like it's going to be a close battle in the poll! Lovin' It is my pick for worst but, honestly, outside of the top 4, I'd rank the rest pretty similarly.
  4. Not quite a full house but Into You was the clear winner here with just like magic being the only other song to pick up a vote. This makes it 2/4 for Dangerous Woman tracks so far. This was the most votes so far so thanks guys. Ultimate Honeymoon Avenue Dangerous Woman One Last Time Into You Saturn Returns Interlude is the first track from the second half of Ari's discography to win a poll and unfortunately it is to be declared the worst track 4. just like magic got a vote in each poll and Why Try also got one vote. Worst Intro blazed (feat. Pharrell Williams) the light is coming (feat. Nicki Minaj) Saturn Returns Interlude ~ Yours Truly - 1, 0 My Everything - 1, 1 Dangerous Woman - 2, 0 sweetener - 0, 2 thank u, next - 0, 0 positions - 0, 0 eternal sunshine 0, 1 petal - 0, 0
  5. Into You stay R.E.M. just like magic Why Try Tattooed Heart bloodline Saturn Returns Interlude I thought this might be a vote be 100% Into You/Saturn Returns Interlude but Saturn has already been saved from that. It would have been really interesting to see how this would have gone without the two runaway tracks because it's really not the strongest bunch of Ari tracks otherwise and I don't think I could have called it.

  9. One Last Time is the runaway winner here with 70% of the vote. This means 'My Everything' becomes the first album to have both a favourite track (3) and least favourite track (1). Be Alright picked up two votes and motive was one person's favourite. Ultimate Honeymoon Avenue Dangerous Woman One Last Time Continuing the pattern of all our picks being from the first half of Ari's discography, 'sweetener' has back-to-back least favourites with the light is coming being the overwhelming least favourite. don't wanna break up again and motive both picked up two votes, making the latter the first song that's earned a vote in both the favourite and least-favourite polls. (NE) The Transformers: The Movie (40th Anniversary Re-Release) - £432,893 Weeks: 1 (£432,893) 10. (07) Insidious: Out Of The Further - £194,667 (-57%) Weeks: 5 (£7,788,529) Falling out: Fall 2 (1 week) Runner (1 week) Raiders Of The Lost Ark (45th Anniversary Re-Release) (1 week) Coyote vs. Acme (3 weeks) The year of horror continues with ‘Resident Evil’ blows past expectations with a £4,211,819 debut. This is the second-biggest horror opening of the year, just behind the £4,281,936 of ‘Backrooms’ from May. This is the eighth film in the classic horror-video game franchise and is the second attempt at rebooting after ‘Welcome To Racoon City’ (£253,199, #8) flopped in 2021. However, this time Zach Cregger, fresh off the success of ‘Weapons’ last year, was recruited to write and direct and it’s continued his hot streak. This has smashed the previous record opening for the franchise, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’ (£1,690,655, #1, 2010) which rode the 3D craze wave to earn £4.8 million. A figure which will remain the peak of the franchise for about another 2 days. ‘Weapons’ made £11.9 million last year which this will be smashing. Boosted to #3 thanks to extensive previews, ‘Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom’ (£1,494,260, £1 million) is the third entry in the ‘Wallace & Gromit’ spin-off series, all of which have opened in third position. This debut is somewhere between the other two entries. ‘Shaun The Sheep Movie’ (£2,095,061, #3, 2015) was a massive hit, making £13.8 million in total while ‘A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon’ (£1,305,511, #3, 2019) could only hit £7.1 million. That was the last Aardman film to hit the big-screen after ‘Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget’ was released on Netflix in 2023 and ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ was shown on BBC in 2024. The final new entry this week is ‘Bad Apples’ (£486,690, £435k without previews). This is a dark dramady which stars Saoirse Ronan as a teacher that kidnaps a problem student. This is a consistent opening with Ronan’s last releases ‘The Outrun’ (£449,590, #4, 2024) and ‘Blitz’ (£163,124, #15 in limited release, £245,688, #8 in wide release). This week also sees a re-entry for the 40th anniversary of ‘The Transformers: The Movie’ (£432,893, £272k without previews, #9). Last week’s #1, ‘Practical Magic 2’ has a decent hold (-46%) and, with £5.8 million, has already outgrossed the original film. ‘Pressure’ also has a great hold (-48%, -26% without previews). Without previews, this is the best hold of the week and it feels like the sort of film that will stick around for a while. ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger’ has a drop more typical of special event films (-82%, -70% without previews). It’s only in cinemas until Thursday but should get the less than £100k it needs to overtake ‘Epic: Elvis Presley In Concert” from earlier in the year. The summer-dominating duo of ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ are still hanging around with drops of 34% and 32% respectively. ‘Spider-Man’ has now hit £99 million so our third ever £100 million hit is coming. It’s so close but I think ‘Skyfall’ (£103 million) is just going to be out of reach. ‘Insidious: Out Of The Further’ holds for a 5th week (57%) is now about £300k away from being the franchise’s biggest hit. There are two further new entries in the #11-#15 section: 'Pulp: What Do You Do For An Encore' (#13) and ‘Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar’ (#15). Next week sees the openings of ‘Sense And Sensibility’, ‘Heart Of The Beast’, ‘The Misanthrope: NT Live 2026’, ‘Hope’, ‘Her Private Hell’, ‘Meesaya Murukku 2’, ‘Boorman And The Devil’, ‘Shadows Of Beirut’ and ‘North Sea, Nature Untamed’. We also see re-releases of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Manhunter’. Can any of them top the charts?
  11. One Last Time Be Alright petal NASA the light is coming (feat. Nicki Minaj) don't wanna break up again Right There (feat. Big Sean) motive (with Doja Cat) One Last Time is the clear winner for me this time. And motive is comfortably my least favourite, although I don't expect that to be a popular choice.
  12. In a close fought battle, Dangerous Woman beats out bye with hate that i made you love me also picking up one vote. 15. I'm not usually massively excited with the Blood Record releases but if there's one artist I'll make an exception for its Ari. I've ordered it. It'll be cool to have one of them in my collection
  16. Such a great choice of Ariana tracks... and blazed Dangerous Woman Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea) 34+35 hate that i made you love me bye needy Baby I blazed (feat. Pharrell Williams) Dangerous Woman might be my favourite Ariana song overall so is pretty unbeatable here. I have such a special place in my heart for Problem so I'm probably putting it higher than it deserves. blazed is one of my least favourite from her overall and is a mile behind the rest of the tracks.
  17. The votes have been counted and we've decided that the opening of Ari's first ever album, Honeymoon Avenue, will be track one on our ultimate album. imagine and Moonlight both picked up two votes and kiss me was the only other song to pick up a vote. Ultimate Honeymoon Avenue While the Intro to Ari's second album narrowly beats out shut up to pick up the wooden spoon. Her shortest intro raindrops (an angel cried) was the only song to pick up any votes. (NE) Fall 2 - £479,264 Weeks: 1 (£479,264) 7. (03) Insidious: Out Of The Further - £457,581 (-40%) Weeks: 4 (£7,356,537) 8. (NE) Runner - £382,666 Weeks: 1 (£382,666) 9. (NE) Raiders Of The Lost Ark (45th Anniversary Re-Release) - £241,150 Weeks: 1 (£241,150) 10. (09) Coyote vs. Acme - £139,298 (-52%) Weeks: 3 (£1,958,847) Falling out: Toy Story 5 (12 weeks) The End Of Oak Street (4 weeks) Minions & Monsters (1 week*) *In this run The Dog Stars (2 weeks) Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie (5 weeks) Ending the Spider-Man/Odyssey monopoly after six-weeks, we have a brand-new top 3 this week led by legacy-sequel ‘Practical Magic 2’ (£2,798,771) that tops the chart 27 years after the original did the same in January 1999. That film only made about £3.3 million in total which this will beat in the week. Susanne Bier takes the directing job this time with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman returning as two witches cursed to never be able to fall in love. Opening at #2 and almost getting the #1 with previews, music documentary ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger’ (£2,656,988, £1.6 million without previews) has one of the best openings of the genre of all-time. Earning the bronze medal behind ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ (£5,729,998, #1, 2023) and ‘Michael Jackson: This Is It’ (£4,877,255, #1, 2009). This tracks last year’s historic comeback of their stadium tour and performed much stronger than their previous documentary, ‘Supersonic’ (£542,263, #5, 2016). Opening at #3 is a film that ironically sounds a bit dry when you hear of its concept (discussions in the war room about if the weather will be good enough to perform the D-Day landings), ‘Pressure’ (£2,058,089, £1.5 million without previews). But this have earned rave reviews and has opened strong despite not making much impact in its summer release in the US. Andrew Scott leads the cast and it’s his biggest opener as a lead (third overall behind ‘Spectre’ and ‘1917’) and sees recent Oscar-winner Brendan Fraser in a supporting role. ‘Fall 2’ (subtitled ‘Deadpoint’ in the US) opens at #6 this week with £479,264 (£372k without previews). This is the sequel to the 2022 film that saw two girls get stuck up atop a 2000ft broadcasting tower. This sequel goes larger, moving the action to Thailand, and is pays off with a debut double the £220,270 that ‘Fall’ (#13, 2022) opened with. The film opened a week earlier in the US and missed their weekly top 10. The final new entry this week is ‘Runner’ (£382,666, #9). Not to be confused with the Gal Gadot disaster ‘The Runner’ which released on Prime last weekend, this is instead an buddy comedy starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson as two people who have to transport an organ for a vital transplant. We also see a re-entry for the 45th anniversary re-release of ‘Raiders Of The Lost Ark’ (£241,150, #9). After six weeks at #1, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is finally off the top spot and falls to #5 after a 49% drop which is pretty much in line with what it’s done every week since release. It is now the 3rd biggest film of all-time after passing the £98 million of ‘No Time To Die’. ‘The Odyssey’ finally climbs above ‘Spider-Man’ after weeks of threatening but does it a week too late as it falls to #4 (-42%). With £84.5 million, this is now also in the top 10 films of all-time. The final two films holding in the top 10 this week are ‘Insidious: Out Of The Further’ (-40%) and ‘Coyote Vs. Acme’ (-52%). The former is now the second biggest film in the franchise while the later has nearly hit £2 million. There are no further new entries in the top 15 but we do see ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ (#15) climb into it in its second week. Next week sees the openings of ‘Resident Evil’, ‘Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom’, ‘Bad Apples’, ‘De Gaulle: Part 2: Liberte’, ‘Premature’, ‘The Cycle Of Love’ and ‘Queen At Sea’. We also see re-releases of ‘The Transformers: The Movie’ and ‘Whisper Of The Heart’. Can any of them top the charts? ~ Summer Box Office Top 5: 1. (01) Spider-Man: Brand New Day - £98,117,216 2. (02) The Odyssey - £84,545,889 3. (03) Toy Story 5 - £58,351,195 4. (04) The Devil Wears Prada 2 - £34.2 million 5. (05) Obsession - £19.9 million Obsession and Minions & Monsters are pretty much level now. I couldn't tell you which one has made more but the momentum is with Minions.
  23. Honeymoon Avenue imagine kiss me Moonlight shut up Intro intro (end of the world) raindrops (an angel cried) I really could have gone with any of the top three. Like Jade, I can see 'kiss me' eventually being top but I've been obsessed with 'Honeymoon Avenue' since the tour and I think this is the only chance I'll have to vote for Yours Truly. 'raindrops' loses the battle of the intros. Mainly for being so short.
  24. In the same vein as other forums have previously done, we're starting a game to create our perfect Ariana album. We will start with a poll that includes the opening track from each of Ariana's eight studio albums and we will vote on our favourite (and least-favourite) to collate her strongest opener. We will then continue for each track two, three, etc. I'll keep this open for the next few days to give everyone a chance to vote. Feel free to post your full rankings in the replies!
