  1. Does the three songs (‘Don’t Stop Believin', 'Halo/Walking on Sunshine' & 'Total Eclipse of the Heart') by the cast of Glee (credited on OCC to Glee Cast, the later being ‘Glee Cast feat. Jonathan Groff’) count as fictional artists?

So unless I’m mistaken and/or missing something, Olivia Dean would be only the 4th British women to have multiple top ten hits in the same week, following Dua Lipa (three consecutive weeks from April 4, 2020) — 'Physical' (#3, #4, #4) — 'Don't Start Now' (#4, #5, #5) — 'Break My Heart' (#6, #7, #10) Adele (two consecutive weeks from November 26, 2021) — 'Easy On Me' (#1, #1) — 'Oh My God' (#2, #6) — 'I Drink Wine' (#4, #5) Charli xcx (three consecutive weeks from August 9, 2024) {'360' also peaked at #11 on August 9} — 'Guess' (#1, #4, #4) — 'Apple' (#8, #8, #9)
  3. Any chance of Pierce the Veil going top 40? Been pretty consistent these past few days.

I’m complaining because it is my favourite single of hers from the 2000s but anyone else noticed how "Sweet Dreams" has become Heart’s Beyoncé song of choice recently? I’ve been hearing it on their station multiple times a day.

Is this the first time capitol have playlisted a BlackPink group single?
  6. Not this post being how I learned '2 On’ never made the top 100 in the uk.

This goes off so hard in public spaces, so glad that all three 'STGEO' singles now certified

Exactly that. That’s my point, lol. This goes off so hard in public spaces, so glad that all three 'STGEO' singles now certified
  9. Doechii’s lawyers must suck because how in the hell did they not manage to get her a feature credit on Victory Lap.

Cuff It is 2x platinum, but the folks on twitter would have you believe she’s an irrelevant has-been from the bush era.

Surprised that 'It’s Quiet Uptown’ is only now just going silver, it’s overture is repeated in the musical very often, and occurs during a very key scene the show. Plus it’s one of the only traditional ballads and the UK adores a ballad. Good for the Paolo Nutini track going silver too. His chart peaks (especially on the singles chart) don’t reflect how huge his songs actually are. 12. A friend of mine has similar opinion about Lola Messy, ‘she’s like if Adele’s music matched her personality’
  13. Someone on twitter said Sombr is like Matty Healey but without all of the baggage. Everytime I hear him I just think of that comment
  14. Its so funny to me that song always gets a streaming boast at the beginning of August when that’s the exact opposite of the songs meaning, the chorus is literally: "August slipped away like a moment in time"

‘What Do You Mean’ having zero dislike votes.
  16. The people’s princess delivering a classic yet again
  17. Yeah, it was the success of Beyoncé’s self titled surprise release in December 2013 that made the industry consider Friday releases.
  18. Apple Music Metal Genre Chart 02. Paranoid 06. Crazy Train (Solo) 09. War Pigs 13. Iron Man 29. Changes (Sabbath) 53. Bark at the Moon (solo) 68. Mr. Crowley (solo) 76. Shot in the Dark 77. Jack the Stripper
  19. Von Dutch becoming a stable classic despite being the lowest charting brat single (by peak) You love to see it.
  20. Same. If only because I would like to see more mainstream artists shamelessly rip off Steve Lacy’s sound.
  21. Decent numbers for the Deftones.
  22. I believe specifically the success of Beyoncé’s self titled digital drop on December 13, 2013 was a major influence for this decision too.
  23. Apple Music ‘Tyrant’ (Beyoncé & Dolly Parton) (+15) This has been going viral on TikTok recently, numbers wise it’s doing 500k globally on Spotify without charting at all. Wonder how high it can go.
  24. Yup, first show is Cardiff July 4 (tomorrow)
  25. It’s a play on words from the opening line of “Illegal”, the PinkPantheress song that is now #19 on Spotify.
