loving this trend of Disney / Nickelodeon stars having their first chart success a whole decade after their debut release. also, correct me if I’m wrong but if this goes top 40 eventually, "Victorious" would be the first US Nick/Disney show/film to produce two acts with a top 40 hit (not associated with the show/film) in the UK since the "Camp Rock" with Demi and all of the Jonas'? The three stars of "High School Musical" who released solo music (Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Hudgens) never went higher than #86 (Tisdale's pop punk cover of “Kiss the Girl”), so Zac Efron's contributions towards "The Greatest Showman" remain that franchise stars only solo chart success. The reboot series ("High School Musical: The Musical: The Series") did spawn Olivia Rodrigo and for a while there it did look like Joshua Bassett could’ve followed suit but that clearly fizzled out fast. I wonder how he feels being the only part of the “drivers license” love triangle drama NOT to be a global superstar.
