It may look like it, but you have to dig past the chart to find the ACTUAL good stuff...

Sixty-seven weeks on the Top 40 for Ordinary... (Don't even go there with the meme, it's 68 weeks on the Top 100...)

The Canadian droner starts this half of the chart...

We interrupt for the 4:30 news.

And Jack's talking over the opening lines of Blessings!

In comes the Stick Season interpolation... unintentionally.

Yep, Fever Dream had the three weeks of consecutive decline and is now on Accelerated Chart Ratio - @Dark73 that's how this ordeal of ACR works. Go to the chart rules to read them in full

First mention of flashbacking to Sunderland's Big Weekend..

"Raindance" hanging around... Does this mean that maybe we could see in the UK a snap back to rain and flooding, like 2007? (If I'm seeing the chart being nostalgic, why not bring a nostalgic reference up?)

Oh silly me!

Course they didn't want to acknowledge Billie Jean or others... For the latter, memories of Wes' second to last month on the Radio 1 chart show (December 2004)...

Thanks to Off Campus... Last time, it was reactivated thanks to Anyone But You, a rather forgotten Sydney Sweeney/Glen Powell film - and remember when in early 2024, Jack called it "the national anthem of the Official Chart"?

You've made the right choice!

I welcome you @Dark73

I'm not going to participate in the thread here, because I have to pack to head back from America to home, but I'm locked and loaded for the chart.

And yes, this year started off good chart wise but it's become stagnant and slow now.

I'm definitely recording that myself to put into my archives anyway.

I'm going to record and listen to the full hour and 45 minutes anyway and record the chart recap!

I'm gonna record it and get it in MP3 anyway. Edit: I've found the programme link to confirm that yes, the recap is going ahead: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002wh2v

And I'll be in America for a bit on a road trip so I'm spared this...

Finally after the release of a long deserved music video, Human Nature gets a Top 10 appearance... It's not the first time we heard it in the Top 10, because it was sampled in the big hit remix of Right Here by SWV which made number 3 in September 1993.

Yep, another well deserved top ten hit - albeit uncredited - for Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest via this!

I think this moving of the section will be temporary until the domination dies down..

Of course see? I told you the MJ domination makes the Top 5 albums go to the Top 10 section.

The albums chart recap is very much to be in the Top 10 thanks to MJ..
