But of course SWIM just had a Musical Autopsy via the YouTuber ADoseofBuckley which I just watched a while back..

So we're going all over the eras of the Radio 1 Top 40 show, whether it be Mark Goodier, JK and Joel, Greg James etc...

The JK and Joel era in full effect now!

Now I'm in side 2 of my cassettes...

We interrupt the chart for a news bulletin now...

Seriously... Runway is the campest UK Top 40 hit since Supermodel (You Better Work) from 1993.

It definitely is her Turn It Upside Down by the Spin Doctors, despite being more commercially successful.

I'm very sure that there's no Shakespeare round here... yet this is the only worthwhile song on TLOAS alongside Opalite. Overall, the album from what I've known is the weakest.

..and to boost, the music video for House Tour which Sabrina co-directed with producer Jack Antonoff's wife, actress Margaret Qualley who also costars in the video also benefits.

Well, the Heartification of the UK Top 40 is definitely still in huge effect!

If anything, the state of pop music.. as it currently stands.. is in a holding pattern.

Jack.. don't you mean "the first new entry"?

Hey all! I'm here for the week as usual!

Anyway it's been a good ride. Two 1tros today.

Wow... Jennie's gone solo, but uncredited.

And of course preceded by a sung intro, and a performing at Big Weekend mention.

Mall Grab, you're ruining 2002, and in turn Mark Goodier's final Radio 1 year!

I meant current number one in America non-consecutively.

Ten top 40 weeks for this former US number one, but really climbing to bigger heights in the UK - and I still love it!

But everything is on the yo-yo this week!

Of course it's the MAIN remix played. Winter Olympics boosted it thanks to the super viral Alyssa Liu ice skate routine.

"You thought we were gonna do the chart and not play Olivia Dean? Nah, not a bit of it." That's me mimicking Jack Saunders then!

Gosh the JK and Joel era never passed...

Well I used an iPad, iPlayer Radio, aux to cassette converter in play deck of the Goodman's XB18CDG double cassette while I had one tape each week to only record the Greg James links back then.

God, I was 16 when Sign of the Times first topped the chart - Greg James hosting the chart; me learning how to use cassettes to make my own recordings.. I didn't know any better.
