Funny since 30 years ago They Don't Care About Us was in its original chart run.

Time to interrupt the chart for the news now at 4:30. Well.. we've missed this last week.

Wow I'm digging it.. Talk to You is absolutely a great slab of Dutch imitating French house circa 1998-2001.

Seriously Jack, I know you think 12 to 12 is the better sombr song but to me it's just a Hard Times facsimile.

Bank holiday may be resulting older hits to resurge, or mostly people stick to what they know.

A strange long running single that's STILL on SCR.

My god, I'm just gonna cry... If In the Mourning by Paramore is a modern successor, I'm gonna appreciate Landslide more.

Seriously... Can the Brit School sound just fade out? 26 Top 100 weeks for the number 37 record this week.

Of course Jack talked over the opening lines and the Earrings outro has a bit of 5 Star - Headlines

Thank goodness the Haven situation was a warning!

Of course BBC 4 is doing a lot of speed running

On Radio 1 now, and we're getting terrible flashes back to 1999... Because Better Off Alone is on the radio now.

So far this was a rather dull Good Friday chart... Let's just watch and see if 2026 will be a dull year for pop music.

Wow, a number 3 peak so far is great for Kevin Parker and his Tame Impala bandmates.. if anything it's a reissue in old physical terms.

So Kevin Parker is very very deep within reaches of the Top 3 then..

No Jack - DOWN THREE

So instead of 3 sides, I've got 4 sides for my cassettes this week!

35 minutes left to go and it's Top 10 time

Still one of the most impressive singles to ever be a long running number one ever... but to be fair, it's the first time that children's pester power made a long running chart hit out of a fictional K-pop track.

Not bad for continued success of an album that critics were polarised over...

The Top 5 albums chart rundown will still be here.. stay tuned..

Still sounding good and even still a slow burner... ...and better now Ella's got an actual video.

The DAT (or shorter Radio 1 producers) edit in effect..

The Central Cee track being the first new entry at 31, is like New Year's Eve 1995 when Dreadzone - Little Britain was the first new entry of the Top 40 that week debuting at 31 (at least according to the Radio 1 broadcast, some numbers in the OCC archive are swapped).

Course I've got first half of 32 at the end of side 1, and the second half of 32 on the beginning of side 2!
