It technically did get to number one as a re-recorded vocal part in Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers' third and final UK number one "Let's Party" in December 1989 alongside Slade and GG's "Another Rock n Roll Xmas" in the medley.

Many weeks later, I still don't get a single iota of the lyrics of "The Fate of Ophelia" - as far as the disconnect in lyrical content is concerned. As a certain Todd in the Shadows once admitted, "I love you, we're gonna f--k all night... The fate of Ophelia?!?!"
