  1. Turns out the tape I'm using today means I'm only getting audio on the right channel, thus I'm gonna be in mono..
  2. I know.. adult contemporary has been fully invading the UK chart as of recently.
  3. So far this year we have only got about twelve completely different UK number one singles this year, which is so far alright, with Rein Me In having spent the majority of the year (Feb 20th - March 6th; March 20th - April 17th; May 1st - 29th; June 26th - August 28th, all those week beginning dates) on top, and is likely to be the biggest selling single of the year by year's end.

Or better yet say "But a decade ago, this was the Top 5.."

First First Look in New timeslot and I'm immediately thinking well, if this gets me to stay with the Friday chart show, then I very much will be okay personally.
  6. I ultimately am not interested in First Look on my opinion... Which is why I never even listened to it in the first place.
  7. Absolutely - 28th September 2005 is Sienna's date of birth (born during Don't Cha by Pussycat Dolls feat Busta Rhymes' reign on top).
  8. ..and this is two weeks before she turns 21. Think of this as her early birthday present.
  9. Think of this as Sienna's very early 21st birthday present (she turns 21 on September 28th).
  10. ..and her dad is the CEO of Groupon.
  11. It is one of handful of songs to have most weeks in the Top 10 - if Christmas songs are not counted.
  12. Still hanging on... Just barely by the skin of its' teeth.
  13. See my comments on WHY Britain needs to have an official adult contemporary chart, so Man I Need can bugger the Top 10 for ages.
  14. I'm gonna be controversial and say that the Sheena Easton song of the same name (also known as Morning Train, for the American release to avoid confusion with this 9 to 5 song) is a teeny bit better.
  15. We're very much mimicking Wes era segues with all these 1tros...
  16. Before now, can anyone remember if any Slovakians entered the UK chart, especially the Top 40?
  17. And it's out charting a rather bleak debut Top 40 tune in Moral of the Story from 2020, although Stop the Wedding absolutely takes hints from Guts and YSPSFAGSIL (you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love), it's hard not to notice on an umpteenth listen.
  18. And speaking of ADÉLA, here's the band she auditioned for in Dream Academy, but was the first to not make the cut.
  19. I absolutely guarantee the OCC need to make a UK equivalent of the actual Adult Contemporary chart in America, what with how Ordinary never seems to leave the chart...
  20. I don't need to do that anymore. I just know.
  21. Of course makes sense why Self Aware is a mere knockoff of better indie music.
  22. Now I get why people are hating Temper City because of their Israeli origin and ties and not because of the music... It's the music that sounds rather dire.
  23. Absolutely. It's turning into Radio 1 Anthems now...
  24. Well, you had Easy A to thank for that. At least not chart wise, but to allow people to actually get it stuck in the heads.
