I love it! Playlisted on Capital.

YES I LOVE IT

Radio 1 have definitely expanded their recurrents list. Yesterday on Going Home, I heard 'Daisies' by Good Neighbours which was released on 3rd July 2024 and spent 5 weeks on the C-List between 27th September 2024 and 1st November 2024. Not complaining though as I do love it!

Lol at Poppy's name being spelt wrong. Excited though!

Yeah lol you can instantly tell when something is pre-recorded. I enjoyed the show but disappointing it's not live.

Disappointing - with no post from Becky either!

LOL I just copied it from the BBC website. They took Dean off but not them!

Radio 1's Christmas Presenter Scheme opens on Monday 14th September. If you present community, hospital or student radio this could be a great way to get into the radio industry professionally! All of these current presenters came through it: Vicky Hawkesworth, Nat O'Leary, Sian Eleri, Sam and Danni, Maia Beth, Alyx Holcombe, Charlie Tee, Sarah Story, Jodie Bryant, Martha, Oré Olukoga, James Cusack and Jess Iszatt.

Surprised to see no love for 'Nicole Kidman' easily my favourite on a very solid debut album!

Mulaa Joans

Nice adds and movement

This has been happening for weeks sadly

They're probably more annoyed that the Daily Mail say The GK Barry Show will be pre-recorded, which will be disappointing.

FISHER has posted this week's playlist on Instagram but has covered it with huge text boxes so you wouldn't be able to post it early. What A Life, One song away from crying and brand new chanel$ have been A-listed and a TBC has been insta-added to the A-list. Good Girl, Well Organised and Trapped have been B-listed. Florence Road - 7563, Mulaa Joans - That Ain't You, Nothing But Thieves - Baby Kool (Evelyn), Phoebe Bridgers - Bobby and Tiffany Day & slayr - CONSTANTLY have been added to the C-list.

They're usually supportive of Blossoms so probably in the next couple weeks

I'm unsure why December 10 get so much hate I'm a fan

This should be good am loving Tristan's collab with Cloonee and Prospa atm and love MK

Likely

So until October Going Home with Vick, Katie and Jamie will be Going Home with Katie and Emil. It's getting a bit ridiculous now but Katie said Vick and Jamie will come back with a bang in October, hopefully meaning they will present the show every day now. This does mean Emil will be in London 4 days a week for Going Home then in Salford for Weekend Breakfast, he's a hard-working guy.

Boring songs the Ashe one might be a grower on me

Does it bother anyone else that Radio 1 don't update the descriptions or pictures on BBC Sounds when a presenter(s) is off? For example, Emil Franchi is in for Matt and Mollie but you wouldn't have known by looking at BBC Sounds. I doubt it will be Vick, Katie and Jamie on Going Home today, Jack confirmed on Live Lounge that Sian will be hosting the New Music Show (BBC Sounds doesn't reflect that) which means one of Maddi Fearn or Tara Kumar will sit in.

Mine definitely has to be 'Manhattan' by Carlita & SOFI TUKKER it's such a tune and is different to other dance music around at the moment.

I think Sam Lavery has left Capital she hasn't been on in weeks and her Instagram shows she's a fitness coach now but her bio still says Capital in it. I think Tom Watts is replacing her meaning his schedule is now Wednesday - Friday 01:00 - 04:00, Friday - Saturday 22:00 - 01:00 and Sunday 19:00 - 22:00. Tomorrow he's covering Joe at 09:00 - 12:00 meaning he'll finish The Capital Weekender at 1 then be back at 9! I like Tom but surely someone else could take it on from Capital Dance like Sarah Devine or Zofia both brilliant broadcasters. Or someone from Radio 1's Christmas Takeover, preferably Hannah Scherrer who is actually doing a show on KISS on Sunday at 21:00 - 23:00. She's great!

Genre labels are awful there needs to be an accurate website that tells you the genre

'R U Mine' stands out
