Happy to see 'Satisfy' advancing to the A-list, I wasn't expecting that. Nice to see 'RMB (Ring My Bell)', 'Movin' To The Sun' and 'Comes and Goes' all on the B-list. Pleased that 'THE CINEMA', 'White Noise' and 'Invisible' have been added. 'MORNING DEW (DONK)' doesn't need to be here though. Now onto the shock of the week, Madonna, aged 67, on the Radio 1 playlist with no younger artist featured. 'Danceteria' is a bop and I'm glad they've decided to support it. If we go back three years to 2023, they were very reluctant to add Kylie Minogue's 'Padam Padam' which was a Top 10 hit, now they're supporting a single from an older artist that has not charted yet, granted it's most definitely going to. I'm glad Radio 1 have realised Madonna has plenty of fans under the age of 29. I'll also echo the Rose Gray comments, she seems like the kind of artist they'd be all over. I know they playlisted 'Girls' with TSHA in 2024 which had a C-C-C run. Have they supported anything else of hers, and what were their runs if so?

Agreed, I think this will be their last summer on Radio 1 to be honest and they'll be replaced in September by Sam and Danni, with Mylo and Rosie replacing them.

I think he'll be this year's Mylo and Rosie and be go to for cover.

Why isn't this a hit? You can dance to it, you can sing to it, very hit worthy in my opinion! Let's hope 'Just Be Bodies' gives Rose her first big hit! Also moderators, I made a thread for this in the pop forum on May 28th. Just thought I'd let you know so you can move or delete it or whatever you do.

Just thought I'd have a look at how much 'The Puerto Rico Song' has been played since it being added to the playlist last Wednesday. On Wednesday, Jordan, Chris and Sian played it at 09:48. On Thursday, it was not played. On Friday, Jordan, Chris and Sian played it at 08:53. On Saturday, it was not played. On Sunday, it was not played. On Monday, Jordan, Chris and Sian played it at 08:35. Today, it has not been played (yet). So basically, it's on a very low rotation and is hopefully removed this week.

Yeah this is pretty boring. It's basic afro beats which is overdone by the likes of Odeal and Wizkid.

Tyler West and Chloe Burrows are off this week, so James Hall and Rio Fredrika will be sitting in on KISS Breakfast! I enjoy listening to both presenters so I'm sure this will be a great listen, better than what KISS Breakfast normally is. AJ King will be covering James' KISS Evening Show for the week. Rayo currently says Rio will be doing her regular Friday night show, if this is not the case I imagine Andrea Zara will be covering again. Rayo also says both will be hosting their shows on KISS DANCE (James from 10:00 and Rio from 15:00), if they don't I imagine Flo will cover for James and Hix will cover for Rio.

Who do we think the Capital Buzz Artist for July will be? The last time they didn't announce it on the 1st of the month was April and it was Sekou, who dropped a song on the first Friday of April. I think it will be Erin LeCount as she released her new single 'THE CINEMA' this week which is easily her most commercial-sounding song yet and has been supported by Capital Buzz before. I think if it was Slayyyter they would've announced it by now.

Where is Holly Humberstone's new single? They've been all over her this era and she played at Big Weekend and no add for 'White Noise'. It's currently on Radio 2 with a B-B-B run.

This is rather boring

The lack of radio support is really unfortunate. It's only really the dance stations playing the songs, not the main stations. For example, she's been playlisted on BBC Radio 1 Dance, Capital Dance and KISS DANCE but none of their parent stations. I take this back as Hits Radio have added 'what do i have to do?' to their playlist!
