The Problem With Spotify
Spot on and deeply frustrating. The pro rata payment model is fundamentally broken because devoted fans of smaller artists are essentially funding Taylor Swift's paycheck. The 1000 stream threshold cutting off smaller artists entirely is just Spotify cleaning up their books at the expense of emerging musicians. As consumers, streaming on fairer platforms like Apple Music, buying merch and attending shows directly helps, but honestly the systemic change needs to come from regulation and pressure on platforms to adopt user centric payment models where your subscription money follows your actual listening. Until then it's grim.

Cinema 2025
That is an impressive 47 films in cinema alone. A Real Pain and Hard Truths are two of the best of the year, Jesse Eisenberg made something special and Marianne Jean-Baptiste is long overdue that kind of recognition. Curious what you thought of Mickey 17 as it seemed to divide people compared to Bong Joon-ho's previous work. Flow is a remarkable piece of filmmaking and Wicked For Good being on the list means you are right up to date. What has been your standout of the year so far?

Tips for Managing a Voiceover Project Efficiently
Hi everyone, I’m currently planning a voiceover project and could really use some advice from those with experience. I’m trying to figure out the best workflow from scriptwriting to final audio delivery. Specifically, I’m curious about selecting the right voice talent, ensuring consistent audio quality, and managing deadlines effectively. How do you handle revisions and feedback without slowing down the process? Are there particular tools or software you recommend for recording and editing voiceovers? Any tips on keeping the project organized while maintaining high-quality results would be greatly appreciated!
