Previous X Factor winner single sales
Yep, that's right. The following week he only sold 26,400 (ironically the week he climbed to #1). So the 153,770 is Steve's figure for the first 2 weeks! I expect something similar will happen with Joe next week, although I think he'll still sell around 200k

Which Song Should We Choose For Next Year's Campaign?
Something by a little known band on an independent label. At least there would be a point to that campaign.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE FOR XMAS NUMBER 1.
The OCC would not disqualify a song that's involved in the biggest chart battle of recent times. That goes for both Joe and Rage.

New Release Schedule (Physical):Monday 30 November
From their website: You may have heard that the 'Babes have recorded their very own version of the Christmas classic ‘Santa Baby’. The good news is the track will now be released digitally on the 21st December! Listen out for it as it hits the airwaves in the run up to Christmas, and then make sure you download your copy on the 21st.

iTunes Chart: December
Don't think it really makes a difference. I'm sure most people will find an alternative version on iTunes to download.

iTunes Chart: November IV
Why is that a suprise? Who would want the song without the video?
-
New Release Schedule (Physical):Monday 23 November
DigiDJ say December 21st. It would also explain why Radio 1 have playlist the single already.

Classics of the noughties...
I've been updating mine recently too and we've made some very similar decisions. Ones that I've included, despite personal taste, are I Like The Way You Move and She's So Lovely. Also, I'd say that one of the David Guetta #1s would probably work better than Agnes (for example) to represet the recent dance-R&B merge but again it's down to personal taste and interpretation. I'm also thinking of including Number 1 to represent the current UK urban popularity.

X Factor Finalists - You Are Not Alone
That would be Rachel, who sadly was in the bottom two in 3 out of the first 4 weeks before being eliminated.

Michael Jackson set for UK #1 album tomorrow
Well, it would take time to prepare and MJ had the O2 booked between July 13th-September 29th and January 7th-March 6th so later in 2009/2010 sounds about right. Apparently Beyonce, Paul McCartney, 3T, Justin Timberlake, Diana Ross, Leona Lewis and Usher are all being lined-up for a benefit gig (according to The Sun)
