  1. No, it's about average.
  2. Yep, that's right. The following week he only sold 26,400 (ironically the week he climbed to #1). So the 153,770 is Steve's figure for the first 2 weeks! I expect something similar will happen with Joe next week, although I think he'll still sell around 200k
  3. Something by a little known band on an independent label. At least there would be a point to that campaign.
  4. The OCC would not disqualify a song that's involved in the biggest chart battle of recent times. That goes for both Joe and Rage.
  5. There's a Now 00s out in February according to play.com
  6. Radio Times says that Nihal will be counting down the biggest albums of the noughties on Monday 27th, and then the top 100 singles from Tuesday.

    250k
  8. From their website: You may have heard that the 'Babes have recorded their very own version of the Christmas classic ‘Santa Baby’. The good news is the track will now be released digitally on the 21st December! Listen out for it as it hits the airwaves in the run up to Christmas, and then make sure you download your copy on the 21st.

Don't think it really makes a difference. I'm sure most people will find an alternative version on iTunes to download.

Why is that a suprise? Who would want the song without the video?
  11. DigiDJ say December 21st. It would also explain why Radio 1 have playlist the single already.
  12. I think All Rise could be sacrificed.
  13. I've been updating mine recently too and we've made some very similar decisions. Ones that I've included, despite personal taste, are I Like The Way You Move and She's So Lovely. Also, I'd say that one of the David Guetta #1s would probably work better than Agnes (for example) to represet the recent dance-R&B merge but again it's down to personal taste and interpretation. I'm also thinking of including Number 1 to represent the current UK urban popularity.
  14. There are rumours of it being The Climb by Miley Cyrus
  15. That would be Rachel, who sadly was in the bottom two in 3 out of the first 4 weeks before being eliminated.

Biology, Something Kinda Ooooh and Call The Shots were number 1 on iTunes but didn't get to #1 on the official chart.

Yep, I wouldn't be suprised if this was the case -_-
  23. Jamie T is $h!te.
  24. Well, it would take time to prepare and MJ had the O2 booked between July 13th-September 29th and January 7th-March 6th so later in 2009/2010 sounds about right. Apparently Beyonce, Paul McCartney, 3T, Justin Timberlake, Diana Ross, Leona Lewis and Usher are all being lined-up for a benefit gig (according to The Sun)

I wonder when this will begin to wear off.
