Sorry my post was a bit vague. I was trying to answer quickly but I couldn't remember the name of the band. IIRC, Shiny Toy Guns made the top 100 with their free single It is rare though, you're right

Totally. In a thread this long you have no idea how annoying it is to scroll through all of these posts to actually find something worth reading.
  4. -SCOTT- posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    No to both questions

Another forum I visit has a weekly thread with one update per day and it's much easier to read and understand exactly what's going on. I do think 1 or 2 updates per day would be much better. Of course there's nothing to stop members discussing any other changes that happen between the post of a full update but to make it easier for those who don't follow it religiously there should be one main update post By the way my post wasn't meant to offend those who post the charts. I'm just a making suggestion.

In my opinion there are too many updates. You have to go trailing back through the pages to see a songs true progress up the chart (even from 24hrs ago). A song that in the latest update may only have gone 19-18 may have actually gone 50-34-19-18 in one day but the update doesn't reflect this. I know people are trying to help but sometimes it's actually quite the opposite.

You are all taking this far too seriously. Jeez...
  8. -SCOTT- posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Was there really any point of that update? Minimal changes
  9. -SCOTT- posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Having the same top 10 has always made the entire chart pointless but I doubt they are likely to change it So it will still include airplay?
  10. What about Tinchy Stryder?

It's on an advert, isn't it? I remember hearing it somewhere on TV

  13. What are the popularity bars like now? My iTunes still has Jeff Buckley at 3!!
  14. I'm from Barnstaple
  15. Whereabouts in Devon, I'll try and have a look at some point?
  16. That's a bit subjective. I personally don't have any strong feelings towards the song, but I can at least admit true emotion is evident in his version.
  17. And where would Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah fit into this songwriting argument?

Wonderwall was brilliant and they deserved to stay over Girlband but they were never going to get very far. It's sad they've been totally ignored in the Hero song and video whilst Girlband are all over it
