The latest update is that the solo medley is likely to be cut!! Which I would be gutted about. Instead they would do a couple of other GA faves. If it does go ahead Kimba's song would be Cry Me A River and Sarah's would be a Klaxons song. However, there will be a performance of Push It (the Salt n Pepa song, I assume) which is mainly by Chim so that should be good

Exactly. Radio stations still continue to force songs like Valerie, Apologise, Mercy and No One on us and adding airplay will just ensure that they stay in the chart longer.

The chart is interesting, the current chart show format is boring. For those who find the chart boring, perhaps if you didn't follow the midweeks the chart would much more exciting on Sundays. I'd say at the moment we're in times of change. Once everybody (artists, labels, download shops and customers) gets used to downloads being the norm, I think we'll see the charts improve and won't be as slow. Give it 2 years and I'm sure we'll see a difference.
