Alphabeat ›› '10,000 Nights' [26.05.08]
It seems as though the UK album won't be exactly the same as the original one: http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?option...&Itemid=206

PREDICT: Will.i.am ft. Cheryl (GIRLS ALOUD) - Heartbreaker
Yes she is in the single/video version

Alphabeat ›› '10,000 Nights' [26.05.08]
Releasing a single that is too similar to the first big single normally results in a one hit wonder. I hope I'm wrong though. I'm glad you managed to get the album before seeing them, by the way.

Now That's What I Call Music 25 years
I remember they put Too Much on Now 41 even though it had been released a year before - probably just so that they could put Spice Girls on their tracklist and Goodbye hadn't been released yet Anyway, I've been a collecting them for 10 years. I started in 1998 with Now 39 but I have since gone back to Now 34 which means that I have over half of the series.

Zavvi to drop singles
Yes, I think Estelle does as well. More shops will have to stock them and they would have to be strategically placed for 1-Track CDs to work though. And maybe they'd all have to be 1-tracks as Panic At The Disco at the moment could be at a disadvantage because they only have 1 track, compared to the others with 3-4. On top of this, other formats of the single could be available online for the 'real' fans with extra tracks, possibly even 3 formats for £5. The point is there are some methods to try, but nothing has been done.

Zavvi to drop singles
Personally, I believe that impulse buys would work. A range of 1-Track CD singles for 79p-99p each, placed next to the tills in both supermarkets and music shops.

Zavvi to drop singles
Why haven't record labels tried to stop the decline in physical sales? One big campaign would bring them back. I have a vision of a Channel 4 documentary series igniting nostalgia. Then the series would show new formats, new rules and lower prices taking place, the struggle to get music shops/supermarkets back, releasing songs sooner etc. Tie this in with a big week for physical singles (like Leona/McFly/Take That/Britney/Freemasons in October) and people would be interested again.

The Passions of ... Girls Aloud
The repeat got 250,000 so the first showing most likely got more than that so pretty good
-
The Passions of ... Girls Aloud
Yeah, that confused me as well

Girls Aloud: Tangled Up Tour 2008
It definately won't be Alphabeat, they said on their message board. I think Billiam and The Saturdays are confirmed support acts now. I wonder if there will be 3 like last year. Read about The Saturdays here. http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?option...&Itemid=206

iTunes Download Chart March 2008
It's brilliant. It features Kanye West at his best too.

Classics of the noughties...
Whilst they might not have sold lots, White Stripes (7 Nation Army) and Missy Elliott (Get Ur Freak On) are considered as classics of their genres
