Everybody Knows would be a terrible single choice, worst song on the album!

Faith Hill's popularity bar isn't too far behind #2

Record Labels joining to push a new physical format
I suppose the fact that it will be 320kbps is good, but it will need to be cheaper than a CD to be relevant in any way.

Songs that were expected to be #1, but weren't
I heard this song last week for the first time in AGES. Childhood flashbacks!
-
New Release Schedule (Physical): Monday 22 September
She would be better off holding back a few weeks Britney vs. Christina vs. Beyonce vs. Leona (vs. Alesha :P ) on November 3rd is going to be interesting
-
Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
It could be Alicia Keys on week 2. I know she is due to perform and the timing would be about right.

Songs that were expected to be #1, but weren't
I was suprised that Alex Parks debut single 'Maybe That's What It Takes' didn't make #1. It was a big week Alex Parks vs. Girls Aloud vs. Westlife Westlife had flopped with Hey Whatever about 2 months before so I was convinced they wouldn't make #1. Of course I was wrong. I had always expected Song 4 Mutya to be number 1 but despite strong radio and TV airplay no-one seemed to care. The same can be said for Beware Of The Dog and Single. The one which shocked me the most in recent years was Sunshine by Gareth Gates. I didn't even consider for a moment that it wouldn't go to number 1. As far as Gareth Gates songs go, it's actually quite good.

Girls Aloud - The Promise
Not doubting you, but how do you know for a fact they'll be on The X Factor on the 25th?

Girls Aloud - The Promise
Song of the year! #2, behind Leona

I'm pretty sure that everyone who goes on that awful show has to do a Queen cover as well as their own
-
Girls Aloud • The Promise
It's important to remember that they could be performing the Saturday before the album release which is obviously far more important
-
A BIG Pop Thing is Coming!
They'll probably use it as for their new video

Suprise Number Ones
I've just noticed somebody said Lola's Theme by Shapeshifters. For me it was the complete oppostite - the first time I heard I remember thinking this is going to be huge.
-
Suprise Number Ones
I don't see how Ting Tings was a suprise? I'd agree with all of the others though. I was always quite suprised that Dare by Gorillaz got to #1
-
New Release Schedule (Physical): Monday 8 September
Recent years seem to show October half-term week being really busy 2007: Leona Lewis, McFly, Take That, Freemasons, Oasis, Britney Spears 2006: Beyonce, McFly, Girls Aloud, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Fedde Le Grand Looks like the trend will continue in 2008

Girls Aloud • The Promise
I know they'll perform it on there, but is that really their first performance of it? Surely they'll do it for the Live Lounge at least
-
Girls Aloud • The Promise
Popjustice have confirmed the title and release date
-
Leon Jackson - Don't Call This Love
It's better than anything James Morrison, Paolo Nutini etc etc would ever release. Infact it's even better than 'Changes' A grower and definate number 1
