HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from Netflix’s smash film KPop Demon Hunters, tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week — becoming one of the 10 longest-leading No. 1s from a movie over the chart’s 67-year history.
Meanwhile, “Golden” ties TLC’s “Waterfalls,” from 1995, as the second-longest-leading Hot 100 hits ever by all-women groups. The only such song with more time at No. 1: Destiny’s Child’s “Independent Women Part I” dominated for 11 weeks in 2000-01.
Previously, “Golden,” which first glowed atop the Hot 100 in August, made HUNTR/X — the singing trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, in the roles of KPop Demon Hunters characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey — the first female group associated with Korean pop to rule the chart. “Golden” is also the sole longest-leading hit by an animated group in the Hot 100’s archives, while KPop Demon Hunters became the first soundtrack to spin off four simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s.
“Golden,” on Visva/Republic Records, tallied 33.8 million official streams (up 5% week-over-week), 33.9 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 11%) — new weekly highs for the song in each metric — and 8,000 sold (up 2%) in the United States Sept. 19-25. (Helping its profile in the tracking week: contestant Jourdan Blue covered “Golden” in the final round of the latest season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent on Sept. 23.)
The track adds a 10th week at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart; jumps 16-9 on Radio Songs; and rebounds 3-2 after two weeks atop Digital Song Sales. Since Streaming Songs began in 2013, “Golden” is just the 20th of 170 total No. 1s to lead for double-digit weeks. Plus, it’s the first Radio Songs top 10 ever by an animated act, having outperformed cartoon tunes that hit the chart’s top 40 by Gorillaz in the 2000s and (hopefully he doesn’t have a cow if learning this) Bart Simpson in the ‘90s.
With a seventh week leading the Hot 100, “Golden” ties two other hits as the ninth-longest-ruling No. 1s from movies all-time, dating to the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958, start.
Here’s a look at the longest-leading movie songs in the Hot 100’s history (as defined by qualifications used for Billboard’s Top 75 Movie Songs of All Time recap, which is based on weekly performance on the chart):
14 weeks at No. 1, “I Will Always Love You,” Whitney Houston, from The Bodyguard, beginning Nov. 28, 1992
13, “End of the Road,” Boyz II Men, Boomerang, Aug. 15, 1992
12, “See You Again,” Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth, Fast & Furious 7, April 25, 2015
12, “Lose Yourself,” Eminem, 8 Mile, Nov. 9, 2002
11, “Independent Women Part I,” Destiny’s Child, Charlie’s Angels, Nov. 18, 2000
10, “Happy,” Pharrell Williams, Despicable Me 2, March 8, 2014
9, “Endless Love,” Diana Ross & Lionel Richie, Endless Love, Aug. 15, 1981
8, “Night Fever,” Bee Gees, Saturday Night Fever, March 18, 1978
7, “Golden,” HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna & REI AMI, KPop Demon Hunters, Aug. 16, 2025
7, “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” UB40, Sliver, July 24, 1993
7, “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,” Bryan Adams, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, July 27, 1991
Plus, “Golden” ties TLC’s “Waterfalls” for the second-longest Hot 100 command by an all-female group (of three or more members).
Here’s a recap of the 10 longest-ruling songs by that measure:
11 weeks at No. 1, Destiny’s Child, “Independent Women Part I,” beginning Nov. 18, 2000
7, HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna & REI AMI, “Golden,” Aug. 16, 2025
7, TLC, “Waterfalls,” beginning July 8, 1995
5, The Emotions, “Best of My Love,” beginning Aug. 20, 1977
4, TLC, “No Scrubs,” beginning April 10, 1999
4, Spice Girls, “Wannabe,” beginning Feb. 22, 1997
4, TLC, “Creep,” beginning Jan. 28, 1995
4, Bangles, “Walk Like an Egyptian,” beginning Dec. 20, 1986
4, The Supremes, “Baby Love,” beginning Oct. 31, 1964
4, The Chiffons, “He’s So Fine,” beginning March 30, 1963
Elsewhere in the Hot 100’s top 10, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” holds at No. 2, after 10 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in June. It tacks on a 15th week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (75.6 million in audience, down 1%).
Also from KPop Demon Hunters, Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” buzzes 5-3 for a new Hot 100 high and their “Your Idol” rises 6-5, after reaching No. 4. (Both are sung by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo and samUIL Lee.) Thanks to “Golden” and those songs, three tracks from the film chart in the Hot 100’s top five simultaneously for a fourth week. (The only other soundtrack to generate three concurrent top five hits, Saturday Night Fever, did so for two weeks in 1978.)
Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, is steady at No. 4 on the Hot 100, after it led in its first week in May. It adds a 19th week atop the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart.
Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild,” which topped the Hot 100 in its debut week in June, drops 3-6.
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which led the Hot 100 for a week in March 2024, and went on to become last year’s No. 1 song, rises 9-7. It logs a record-extending 110th week on the chart overall and a record-furthering 79th week in the top 10.
Justin Bieber’s No. 2-peaking “Daisies” climbs 10-8 on the Hot 100; Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” descends 7-9, after hitting No. 5; and Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” bumps 11-10, following five weeks at No. 1 beginning in January.

Well, at least we get one new entry this week after none the previous two weeks. 'Where Is My Husband!' is Raye's second appearance as lead artist, the first of course being 'Escapism' which peaked at #2. It's her fifth total when you count 'You Don't Know Me', 'Prada' and 'Born Again'. In other interesting news, check out 'When Did You Get Hot?' being the currently highest-charting Sabrina track!
Speaking of Sabrina, her album's reign at #1 ends for now after 3 weeks. Ocean Alley's top 10 streak also ends, after their previous two albums charted at #6 and #5. Cardi B unsurprisingly doesn't match the #2 peak of Invasion Of Privacy, while Lola Young and Sammy Virji make their album chart debuts.

On 13/07/2025 at 20:28, Riser said: Based on very early impressions my initial faves are Ashley and possibly Lauren.
The way I nearly deleted this post after Showergate because I assumed Ashley had no chance!
Ngl I ended up rooting for Morgan instead and think she proved herself as a top-tier BB player, but still couldn't be happier for Ashley, whose come-from-behind story might be second only to Taylor? (Edit: maybe not, I kinda forgot Jag was literally evicted and came back to win)
I'm not going to defend Vince per se but I've been invested all season in seeing how far he'd get with having all those final-twos. To his credit I actually liked quite a bit of his speech, not that it mattered after Ashley's speech which was truly incredible!
Overall, I am completely in awe of this season!! It was a mix of the best and utterly worst gameplay, the best and worst twists, and was fully entertaining from beginning to end. I appreciated seeing some new comps for a change, and the elimination order felt mostly correct with one obvious exception. At the very least we've now gone five years without a disaster season and I'm thankful for that.

2. Sabrina Carpenter – Manchild [24-7-2] ooh nearly on top!
3. Sombr – 12 To 12 ooh a fab new entry high up for this great track. Undressed will be the next sombr track I chart, as I sort through them about 6 months late!
16. Nate Smith – Fix What You Didn’t Break [26-31-x-16] this is good, sounds a bit vocally Nickleback How You Remind Me here and there, and nice guitar.
30. Shaboozey – Good News [40-37-30] this has taken AGES to crack the top end of the US chart, which is bizarre given how huge Tipsy still is.Fab chart! the top end is especially good, and Ive not heard Free (still not seen the film) but thats actually rather nice, needs to push some of the other tracks out the chart in the 3-only-UK.
Nate Smith added to my itunes basket ta for the tip!
cheers!😎
Hi John!
Yeah, 'Manchild' grew on me massively after a middling first impression. Sombr is doing no wrong for me right now, so impressed with his entire album, one of my faves this year!

Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Breach’ Bows Atop Billboard 200 With Biggest Week for a Rock Album in Six Years
By Keith Caulfield | 9/21/2025
Twenty One Pilots land the year’s biggest week for any rock album — and the largest in six years — as the duo’s new studio effort, Breach, bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Sept. 27.
The set is the act’s second leader and launches with 200,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending Sept. 18, according to Luminate. That marks Twenty One Pilots’ best week ever and the biggest week for a rock album since Tool’s Fear Inoculum launched at No. 1 with 270,000 on the Sept. 14, 2019-dated chart. (Rock albums are defined as those that are eligible for, or have charted on, Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart.)
The majority of Breach’s opening week was powered by traditional album sales, numbering 169,000 sold, which lands Twenty One Pilots its biggest sales week ever, and the biggest for any rock album in six years. The last rock set to sell more copies in a single week was Fear Inoculum, which sold 248,000 in its opening stanza.
Breach is Twenty One Pilots’ first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in a little more than a decade, since Blurryface bowed at No. 1 on the June 6, 2015 chart. All told, Breach is the band’s fifth top 10, following Clancy (No. 3 in 2024), Scaled and Icy (No. 3, 2021), Trench (No. 2, 2018) and Blurryface.
Also in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, Ed Sheeran scores his eighth top 10 album as Play premieres at No. 5.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.
Of Breach’s 200,000 first-week equivalent album units, album sales comprise 169,000 (it debuts at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart), SEA units comprise 31,000 (equaling 40.68 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs — the act’s best streaming week yet; it also debuts at No. 8 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.
Breach’s opening-week sales were bolstered by its availability across more than 15 vinyl variants, which sold a combined 72,000. That marks Twenty One Pilots’ best week ever on vinyl and the largest vinyl sales week for a rock album in the modern era (since Luminate began electronically tracking sales in 1991).
Breach was also issued on three deluxe CD editions in lavish packaging containing collectible ephemera, a standard widely available CD and digital download, along with a widely available deluxe digital download edition with the bonus track “Drag Path,” alternative cover art and a PDF booklet.
Breach was preceded by its first single, “The Contract,” which hit No. 1 on the Alternative Airplay chart dated Aug. 2, marking Twenty One Pilots’ 12th leader. The band kicked off its The Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 on Sept. 18 in Cincinnati, and the trek continues with dates in the U.S. and Canada through Oct. 26 in Los Angeles.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack falls to No. 2 on the Billboard with 112,000 equivalent album units earned (down 12%) after reaching No. 1 for the first time a week ago. Morgan Wallen’s chart-topping I’m the Problem is a non-mover at No. 3 (97,000, down 2%) and Sabrina Carpenter’s former leader Man’s Best Friend dips 2-4 (88,000, down 26%).
Ed Sheeran scores his eighth top 10-charting album on the Billboard 200 as Play starts at No. 5 with 71,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 51,000 (it debuts at No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart), SEA units comprise 19,000 (equaling 24.26 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs; it debuts at No. 23 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units comprise 1,000.
Play’s opening sales week was aided by its availability across more than 10 vinyl variants (one signed), four standard CD variants (two signed), two deluxe CD editions (with two bonus tracks, one signed), a deluxe CD boxed set containing a T-shirt and a signed CD, a standard streaming and digital download album, and a deluxe streaming and digital download album with five bonus tracks.
Play was previewed by the hit song “Azizam,” which reached the top 10 on Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay and Adult Contemporary, and No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Sheeran’s 26th top 40-charted hit).
Justin Bieber’s SWAG shifts 4-6 on the Billboard 200 (44,000 equivalent album units, down 45%); Alex Warren’s You’ll Be Alright, Kid falls 5-7 (36,000, down 4%); SZA’s chart-topping SOS is down 6-8 (a little more than 33,000, up less than 1%); Wallen’s former No. 1 One Thing at a Time descends 7-9 (33,000, up 1%); and sombr’s I Barely Know Her is steady at No. 10 (29,000, up less than 1%).

HUNTR/X’s ‘Golden’ Tops Hot 100 for Sixth Week, the Most for a Soundtrack Hit in 10 Years
By Gary Trust | 9/22/2025
HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from Netflix’s smash film KPop Demon Hunters, leads the Billboard Hot 100 for a sixth week — becoming the sole longest-leading No. 1 from a soundtrack this decade, and the longest-ruling such song in more than 10 years.
“Golden” surpasses Encanto ensemble anthem “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” which led the Hot 100 for five weeks in 2022, for the most time on top among movie music this decade. No soundtrack song has led longer since “See You Again,” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, from Fast & Furious 7, revved to a 12-week reign in 2015.
The honor is the latest for “Golden,” which first crowned the Hot 100 in August, making HUNTR/X — the singing trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, in the roles of KPop Demon Hunters characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey — the first female group associated with Korean pop to reach No. 1 on the chart.
“Golden” is also the sole longest-leading hit by an animated group in the Hot 100’s 67-year history, while KPop Demon Hunters is the first soundtrack to generate four simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s. The songs rank in the region together for a fifth week, with Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” holding at its No. 5 high and “Your Idol” down to No. 6 from its No. 4 best and HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” descending to No. 10 from its No. 8 peak.
“Golden,” on Visva/Republic Records, tallied 32.1 million official streams (down 5% week-over-week), 30.6 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 16%) and 7,000 sold (down 6%) in the United States Sept. 12-18.
The track adds a ninth week at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart; jumps 20-16 on Radio Songs; and rebounds 3-2 after two weeks atop Digital Song Sales.
“Golden” passes Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” which ruled the Hot 100 for five weeks in 2022, as the sole longest-leading hit for a soundtrack song in the 2020s. At six weeks, it boasts the longest command since “See You Again,” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, from Fast & Furious 7, screeched to 12 weeks on top in 2015.
Here’s a look at the longest-leading Hot 100 No. 1s from soundtracks this century:
12 weeks at No. 1, “See You Again,” Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth, from Fast & Furious 7, beginning April 25, 2015
12, “Lose Yourself,” Eminem, 8 Mile, Nov. 9, 2002
11, “Independent Women Part I,” Destiny’s Child, Charlie’s Angels, Nov. 18, 2000
10, “Happy,” Pharrell Williams, Despicable Me 2, March 8, 2014
6, “Golden,” HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna & REI AMI, KPop Demon Hunters, Aug. 16, 2025
5, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” Carolina Gaitan, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz & Encanto Cast, Encanto, Feb. 5, 2022
5, “Check On It,” Beyoncé feat. Slim Thug, The Pink Panther, Feb. 4, 2006
5, “Lady Marmalade,” Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya & P!nk, Moulin Rouge, June 2, 2001
Plus, “Golden” is now solely the third-longest-leading Hot 100 hit by an all-female group of three or more members. Here’s a recap of the 10 longest-ruling songs in the category:
11 weeks, Destiny’s Child, “Independent Women Part 1,” beginning Nov. 18, 2000
7, TLC, “Waterfalls,” beginning July 8, 1995
6, HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna & REI AMI, “Golden,” beginning Aug. 16, 2025
Elsewhere in the Hot 100’s top 10, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” keeps at No. 2, after 10 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in June. It logs a 14th frame at No. 1 on Radio Songs (76.1 million in audience, up 1%) — becoming the sole longest-leading hit in the chart’s nearly 35-year history on Atlantic Records; it breaks out of a tie with Donna Lewis’ 1996 smash “I Love You Always Forever.”
Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild,” which topped the Hot 100 in its debut week in June, holds at No. 3.
Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, rises 7-4 on the Hot 100, after it led in its first week in May, becoming Wallen’s fourth No. 1 and McRae’s first. It claims an 18th week atop the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart.
Below Saja Boys’ two Hot 100 top 10s, Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” lifts 9-7, after hitting No. 5, and Justin Bieber’s No. 2-peaking “Daisies” climbs 10-8.
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which led the Hot 100 for a week in March 2024, and went on to become the year’s No. 1 song, returns to the top 10 (11-9). It adds a record-extending 109th week on the chart overall and a record-padding 78th week in the top 10.
HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” rounds out the Hot 100’s top 10, as it leads the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart for a 12th week.

Cardi B Scores Second No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 With ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’
By Keith Caulfield | 9/28/2025
Cardi B scores her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart as AM I THE DRAMA? debuts atop the tally (dated Oct. 4) with 200,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending Sept. 25, according to Luminate. That marks 2025’s biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman. AM I THE DRAMA? is Cardi B’s second full-length studio project, and follows her chart-topping debut, Invasion of Privacy, in 2018.
Also in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, Nine Inch Nails’ soundtrack to TRON: Ares debuts at No. 5, marking the first top 10 for the band since 2013.
Of AM I THE DRAMA?’s 200,000 first-week equivalent album units, SEA units comprise 110,000 (equaling 145.72 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs during the tracking week — it also debuts at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 88,000 (it debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise 2,000.
AM I THE DRAMA?’s opening-week sales were boosted by its availability across an array of permutations. It was issued as a standard 19-song widely available digital download album; 20-song CD and vinyl editions; and a 23-song download and streaming edition. There were also further digital variants: an iTunes Store and Apple Music edition with bonus live video tracks, a 30-track artist webstore-exclusive edition and two widely available expanded editions (with 24 tracks each).
The CD and vinyl variants for AM I THE DRAMA? were largely only available through Cardi B’s webstore and through some independent record stores. AM I THE DRAMA? was issued on two standard CD variants (one signed by the artist), seven additional CD cover variants (four of them signed, inclusive of three versions with cover art showing gone-viral photos of the artist on the stand during her assault trial in August, dubbed the “courtroom edition”) and eight deluxe CD boxed sets containing merchandise and a CD. The album was also issued on two standard vinyl editions (one signed) and nine additional vinyl variants (some with different covers and/or color vinyl, most of them signed, including a “courtroom edition” cover variant).
In addition to a typical promotional press run to raise awareness of the album’s release, the artist also mounted a busy schedule of in-store appearances during release week, doing photo ops and meet-and-greets with fans purchasing the album. During release week, she hit four independent record stores (Looney Tunes in West Babylon, N.Y.; Spin Me Round in Easton, Pa.; DBS Sounds in Riverdale, Ga.; and Fingerprints in Long Beach, Calif.) and a Hot Topic location in Elmhurst, N.Y. and a Walmart in Cypress, Texas.
The widely available editions of AM I THE DRAMA? contain the Billboard Hot 100-charted hits “Outside” (No. 10 peak in July), “Imaginary Playerz” (No. 70 in August), “Up” (No. 1 in March 2021) and “WAP” (featuring Megan Thee Stallion, No. 1 in August 2020).
The chart-topping KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack holds at No. 2 with 104,000 equivalent album units earned (down 7%). The set also notches a 10th week inside the top two on the Billboard 200, marking the most weeks inside the top two for a soundtrack since the Frozen album logged 21 nonconsecutive frames in the top two (13 of them at No. 1) in 2014. KPop surpasses Encanto, which had nine weeks in the top two (all at No. 1) in 2022.
Morgan Wallen’s former No. 1 I’m the Problem is steady at No. 3 (90,000 equivalent album units, down 7%) and Sabrina Carpenter’s chart-topping Man’s Best Friend is stationary at No. 4 (69,000, down 21%).
Nine Inch Nails are back in the Billboard 200’s top 10 for the first time in over a decade, as the band’s soundtrack to the film TRON: Ares debuts at No. 5 (the highest debut of 2025 for a soundtrack) with 45,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 39,000 (it debuts at No. 2 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 6,000 (equaling 8.37 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum. Nine Inch Nails have tallied seven top 10 albums on the Billboard 200: TRON: Ares, Hesitation Marks (No. 3 in 2013), Year Zero (No. 2, 2007), With Teeth (No. 1, 2005), The Fragile (No. 1, 1999), The Downward Spiral (No. 2, 1994) and Broken (No. 7, 1992).
The first-week sales of TRON: Ares were aided by its availability across four vinyl variants, a cassette, two CD variants and a download and streaming edition (all containing the same tracklist).
TRON: Ares is the companion soundtrack to the film of the same name, which will be released on Oct. 10 in movie theaters, and is the third in the Tron film series. It follows Tron: Legacy (2010) and Tron (1982). The TRON: Ares soundtrack is the second Tron movie soundtrack to reach the Billboard 200, following Daft Punk’s TRON: Legacy (which peaked at No. 4).
TRON: Ares was preceded by the album’s single “As Alive as You Need Me To Be,” which has reached the top 10 on both Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay.
Also, with KPop Demon Hunters and TRON: Ares at Nos. 2 and 5, there are two soundtracks in the top five simultaneously for the first time in more than six years. It last happened on the March 30, 2019 chart, when Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s chart-topping A Star Is Born was No. 3 and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody was No. 5.
Rounding out the rest of the latest top 10 on the Billboard 200: Alex Warren’s You’ll Be Alright, Kid rises 7-6 (35,000 equivalent album units, down 3%); SZA’s chart-topping SOS climbs 8-7 (33,000, down 2%); Wallen’s former leader One Thing at a Time steps 9-8 (32,000, down 3%); Justin Bieber’s SWAG shifts 6-9 (just under 32,000, down 27%); and Bad Bunny’s former No. 1 DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS climbs 13-10 (nearly 32,000, up 21%).
