  1. 2. Leona Lewis – A Moment Like This

    {1}-1-1-1-6-12-18-33-32-49-66-55R(34)-71-74R(2)->14

    X Factor winner's single at #2, just like in 2005. Kelly Clarkson's version is better! :kink:

  2. 3. Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean – Hips Don’t Lie

    54-3-2-{1}-2-2-3-1-1-1-1-2-2-5-7-6-10-13-13-17-21-28-31-30-28-28-37-49-49-33-31-44-43-49-59-64-74R(2)-71R(5)->38

    Fun fact: Only two of these 20 songs have a featured artist, this one and 'Nasty Girl'! 'Hips Don't Lie' hasn't aged well for me unfortunately.

  3. 4. Scissor Sisters – I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’

    4-{1}-1-1-1-2-3-4-10-15-20-19-20-20-25-27-27-16-18-28-33-27-38-39-33-30-46-50-53-54-55-67-65R(7)->33

    AMAZING

  4. 6. Infernal – From Paris To Berlin

    34-4-3-4-3-{2}-3-4-6-6-7-9-15-19-24-27-27-36-45-55-61-72-73->23

    Maybe I'll recognize it once it plays but I don't think I know this :o

  5. 7. Nelly Furtado – Maneater

    8-{1}-1-1-2-4-4-7-10-38R(23)-45-69-71R(24)->13

    Another pop anthem cruelly deleted from the charts :snif: And apparently with two videos if the "US Version" tag is any indication.

  6. 8. Take That – Patience

    4-{1}-1-1-1-2-2-3-5-8-15-15-22-10-15-14-20-16-20-26-31-40-52-50-48-53-65-64-73-47R(5)-69-74-71-64R(13)-74-61R(8)-50-66-74-59R(45)->40

    This was the big comeback single, wasn't it? :o Hopefully we'll get Rule The World and Greatest Day in the next couple hours (especially the former :wub:)!

  7. 10. Justin Timberlake – SexyBack

    13-{1}-2-2-3-5-9-9-12-18-21-23-28-31-32-47-52-53-30-34-55-62-71-71-74-69-68-68-63-73-72R(2)->31

    Not amongst my faves of his, but there's no denying this was MASSIVE at the time. And I reckon it's still a tune.

  8. 11. Lily Allen – Smile

    13-{1}-1-4-4-7-7-13-18-21-27-35-38-44-34-45-57-68R(8)-74-59-52-49R(26)-74->23

    "At first, when I see you cryyyyy, it makes me smiiiiiile" <3

  9. 12. Orson – No Tomorrow

    5-2-{1}-3-5-4-4-7-14-17-25-27-32-36-40-49-45-75R(28)->18

    Lowest weekly sales for a #1, Orson still remembered for something at least! Pretty good song and continuing the variety of #1s in 2006.

  10. 13. The Notorious B.I.G. featuring Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge & Avery Storm – Nasty Girl

    2-{1}-1-2-2-5-8-10-14-17-23-19-23-28-32-35-42-48-59->19

    Hmm, I've heard this maybe once before and don't think I liked it. A nice and swaggy #1 single for its time though

  11. 14. Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars

    25-15-13-10-12-7-7-{6}-8-8-17-16-14-20-23-27-26-9R(8)-21-28-32-24-23-12-21-27-31-29-28-35-47-48-48-47-45-51-48-51-54-54-51-59-65-60-44-54-56-56-54-56-52-61-56-66-67-75-65-68-71-68-66-60-49-55-68-50R(4)-58-68-61-58-53-53-59-67-75-71-65-75-69R(14)-71-71-75-75-74R(2)-75-49R(7)-59-64-72-65R(4)-69-63R(50)-56-70-39R(5)-51-71R(47)-50-55R(13)-51-57R(18)-58-54-61-60-74R(18)-58-65-66R(84)-60-47->111

    YAY. There must have been two versions of the video, well here's one of them anyway.

  12. 15. Cascada – Everytime We Touch

    41-4-{2}-5-4-10-12-12-7-12-15-15-21-26-32-38-35-38-38-50-42R(4)-47-46-53-58-60-70-71-65-53-48-48-47-58-65-73-67-66-74->39

  13. 16. Shayne Ward – No Promises

    {2}-3-6-9-7-10-17-27-36-45-56-60-64-64-65-61->16

    Shayne Ward again, giving us a Razorlight sandwich :D I don't know this song but slay us all.

  14. WHEN WILL YOUR NON-SHAYNE FAVES

    18. Shayne Ward – That’s My Goal

    {1}-1-1-1-5-6-7-10-12-22-33-42-57-44-62-67-36-34-49-62-75->21

    17. Razorlight – America

    15-{1}-2-2-6-8-11-14-10-12-13-22-23-15-13-25-30-35-42-41-34-38-53-57-62-64-66->27

    A song about America playing after the 4th of July, how coincidental!

  15. I think 'Bad Day' was the first song I ever downloaded! It was definitely my favorite song ten years ago, such fond memories.

    Ooh it's your all-time fave Harry!? :o Very cool!

  16. Hi!

    I'll be up for 2 hours at least. The first few years were before I started following the UK charts so I'm excited to discover some 'new' songs :D Already had one, "Trippin'" by Robbie!

  17. 13 Lee Greenwood - God Bless The U.S.A.

    31 Bruce Springsteen - Born In the U.S.A.

    40 Toby Keith - Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)

    55 Miley Cyrus - Party In the U.S.A.

    68 Neil Diamond - America

    81 Toby Keith - American Soldier

    88 Martina McBride - Independence Day

    91 Toby Keith - Made In America

    4th of July effect. G'won Toby Keith.

  18. Yay the parody recaps *.* Can we have them posted in the thread every week? Here's the other Big Brother in 2 Minutes one:

    Really intrigued to see how long Julia and Liz can pull off the twin twist. Do we know yet how many weeks they have to switch places for, and if they'll eventually get to both be individual houseguests? They clearly had Jace fooled based on his interview, I loved his reaction.

  19. Also, with the announcement of SIX midweek flashes instead of four, we'll have an almost daily chart update and so come Fridays most of those who care will likely know what the final results will be in most weeks anyway, making the 'Big Reveal' element even less-relevant.

    I must admit having 6 sales flashes a week makes the chart less interesting, especially been slow moving, its not really needed, 3 sales flashes would be more sufficient enough, as there be hardly any changes and makes the final reveal pretty much predictable by the end of the week, makes it less exciting in my view. The Chart Show would end up losing more listeners.

    You don't HAVE to look at the midweeks though (unless, of course, you're a chart mod in charge of posting them on Buzzjack :P). I agree that having six of them is unnecessary, but you can check just once or twice a week in order to save some excitement for the chart on Friday. That's what I plan on doing.
