'Stateside' climbs again to be PinkPantheress' second top 5, and it would be Zara's first ('Never Forget You' peaked at #6, 'Lush Life' at #8) but she's not credited here. 'Fever Dream' falls short of being Alex's fourth top 10, instead it just beats the #15 peak of 'Carry You Home', unless it climbs of course. Further down, Dominic Fike climbs 13, 'Dracula' re-enters to a new peak, and Don Toliver debuts along with another Bruno track. Bruno Mars is #2 on both charts this week. So this is fascinating, all of Bruno's solo albums have peaked at #2 here! (The Silk Sonic album peaked at #3 and just missed continuing the pattern.) Doo-Wops was stuck behind Sigh No More and 21; Unorthodox Jukebox was behind the Mt. Zion soundtrack and Sol3 Mio, and 24K Magic was behind Metallica and Adele (yet again, with 25 this time). Gorillaz score their fifth top 3 and seventh top 5 album. Their previous release Cracker Island is their first and only #1 album so far. Mitski debuts at #9, in between the #5 and #14 peaks of her other two albums. And Blackpink miss the top 10 for the first time, a whole 10 places behind Born Pink which peaked at #2. (They also have a #1 with The Album from 2020).

(Finally had time to type a full post) Congrats John!!! That's going to be a memorable winner for me, was glad to hear another Haute & Freddy song here as I really liked 'Scantily Clad' too. Wow, I can't remember the last time I voted for the entire top 4, with an asterisk of course due to Pagasa's deduction - congrats dhwe anyhow on your first top 10 and top 5! Hopefully your second one happens much sooner than your first one did. Yay for Persephonia top 20, glad Band of Horses got as many as 22 votes. Would've liked at least a little bit higher for Wholune, Juranabaijan, Dobago and East Rukahavian, glad to see East Ruk at least came close to escaping last place. As for my entry, WOW! This was one of the most last-minute entries I've ever sent, knew the song for a couple weeks and didn't consider sending it until the night before the deadline. Now it's tied for my third-biggest hit ever! And my biggest hit since I won over two years ago. (I already had a 6th-place so I wouldn't have minded 5th or 7th but that's okay ) Glad I tried something different for a change, thanks to all who supported it! I don't anticipate sending more electronic instrumentals in the future but we'll see And thanks Sabrewulf for the brilliant hosting, enjoy the rest now after a job well done!
