I knew it was the immediate aftermath of Her Majesty's passing, but I couldn't work out whether to count what was broadcast in the timeslot as a chart show, since (according to what is on the BBC guide) it was the same length timeslot, hosted by the same person, and playing basically the same tracks, so I did wonder if it essentially was a chart show but without that explicit title on the guide.

That's fair, I couldn't quite remember what they did and used the chart show thread for reference. They at least played the #1 in full and maybe a quick rundown/recap of the top 10 or top 40, but otherwise they played other songs.

Thanks for updating this, by the way! It's great to look back at past years.

Dua Lipa got the whole world hyped for the Barbie movie with 'Dance The Night' being the lead single of the star-studded soundtrack. Buzzjack, already thirsting for a new Dua era, took to it right away as it debuted top 10 and peaked at #2, behind the juggernaut 'Padam Padam'. In the UK it had a more gradual climb, but the film release was perfectly timed to give it a boost to #1, Dua's 4th chart-topper to date. There's something about the number 4, as it also spent several weeks at #4 on the Multichart and lands at #4 on the EOY!

Hi James! Can't believe I didn't chart 'Nothing Matters' until now, but it's finally as high as it should be.

You'd think 'Texas Hold 'Em' would be an obvious #1 contender for me...but we'll have to wait and see!

Same here on 'Training Season', it's grown on me massively in just the past week!

And yeah, I don't love 1989-era Taylor so 'Is It Over Now' was just not for me, but I've warmed to it anyway over repeated listens.
