I disagree - MNEK is clearly a very talented producer and writer, and his best songs seem to be the ones that don't have him as the lead artist (Ready For Your Love, Close [sub Focus], Spoons [Rudimental]) but he doesn't seem to keep any good songs for himself. And his voice is really grating in my opinion, sounds very amateurish at times.

If Ella misses Top 10 again do you reckon they'll just cancel her album altogether? It's a shame cos she's got an unbelievable voice, she performs well, she looks like a star and her songs are decent. I don't get why the public just don't seem to care. And then there's the likes of Jess Glynne who are getting all the attention but aren't even that good

I think that's a given now. Seems like new entries get knocked down around 50% of their sales position by streaming. For example, if you chart at 20 on sales, you'll probably chart 10 places lower with streaming factored in, so you'd end up around the 30 mark. Conor I can imagine is gonna chart at about 28 on sales. So I think he'll be no higher than 42 officially. Ouch.

Runaway is an incredibly underrated song from 'x'. I never hear it get mentioned, yet it's one of the catchiest songs on the whole album imo.

Easily. The charts are slowing down big time, partly thanks to streaming. We've only had around 6 number ones so far this year as many have had multiple weeks at the top. Last year there was pretty much a different one every week. I think in the next two years there'll definitely be a 10+ week runner.

Over the moon that Cheerleader isn't gonna make #1. I would genuinely rather have Lay Me Down/Thinking Out Loud/Happy at #1 for 12 months than that absolute pile of shite at the top of the charts.
