I agree! I much prefer there being lots of lots of #1s.

I think both albums are absolutely crap. Pretty much every non-single is utter shit on both of them, besides Abracadabra, Breathe, Sexy Lady and Square One.

The only way I can see it working as an iTunes exclusive is if it dropped on iTunes unannounced, then was rush released to shops within a few days. They just couldn't do a 100% surprise release of a physical album. It wouldn't be possible without leaking.

You would think that it would have to be Adele or Take That if it's a 'UK release'. But surely they would be MAD to limit their sales to just digital sales during the peak weeks of festive buying? The vast majority of Adele's and Take That's album sales are physical. They would not only piss off a lot of their fans by limiting it to iTunes, but they'd harm their sales, imo.

New iPhone software has a few slight changes to the itunes app, including a "trending searches" screen that shows up when you go to the search bar. Provides an interesting insight into what people are looking for.

I don't really see the point in this chart, as surely the songs that end up the highest up the chart are just going to be the most inoffensive songs, rather than the ones that we like the most? For example, a really bland song could escape being voted the worst week after week, and end up high on the chart. But that surely doesn't automatically correlate to Buzzjack actually liking this song? It just means it's hated the least?

I've not liked any of Calvin's singles since Thinking About You. But Blame is really great.

I agree, this sort of track would normally be my cup of tea but I'm not getting this one. The trumpets, or whatever they are, sound really daft imo

Think Calvin will go to #1. The song is decent, and most people won't have even heard it yet. It'll get bigger and bigger as the week goes on and more people begin to discover it.

Wow that's really sad about Simone Battle. Just as they were achieving proper success as well. If it was suicide, it makes you realise that you just have no idea what's going on in people's heads.

The Calvin Harris song is really good. The only thing I don't like about it is John Newman's vocals, they're grating enough as it is, but with all that autotune as well.... ew

They're #4 in the official chart update. It would take a hell of a lot for them to fall out the Top 10 by Sunday. If Union J can cling on, GRL certainly can, so don't worry!

Ffs. I think Sam Bailey will definitely perform at some point. They wouldn't just ignore their reigning champion. She may not release another single/album but she might record a Christmas EP or something. Similar to how Leona stuck out an EP in 2011 just for the lolz (and she performed 'Hurt' to promote it).

I don't feel like that's the case at all. I'm Not The Only One has been widely recognised as one of the strongest on the album (it was apparently picked by the fans, it got cherry picked the most when the album came out, critics have highlighted it as one of the strongest etc) so it really feels like the natural choice for a single. And the fact it's gone Top 10 despite the album already going platinum, and it's not had THAT much airplay or promotion is a huge achievement.

The way he spoke in that interview, it was as if he considers I'm Not The Only One to not sound like a single either. But I think hes completely wrong there. I'm Not The Only One is the standout track from the album imo. So what he considers a surprise may not be the same as what everyone else considers a surprise! He should release Like I Can. But I think it'll be Restart.

Won't Look Back is SO good. Superheroes is bland rubbish.
