  1. I was thinking that about The Big Top 40! Their chart is such a farce though. Calling a song #1 for that week just cos it happened to be at #1 on iTunes at 6pm on the Sunday.
  2. MNEK's song can f*** off back out the Top 200 where it belongs. Absolute mess of a song. His voice is so annoying.
  3. As loathsome as Lay Me Down is, at least we can be glad that GDFR is not gonna be #1.
  4. Lay Me Down is Sam's worst song. Awful awful awful.
  5. Think you've got the Capital criteria all wrong. They just want pop pop pop.
  6. FourFiveSeconds is on Spotify now. Should finally let it break into the Top 3 officially.
  7. 3 number 1s for Jess Glynne when she's not even released an album is pretty damn impressive. Not to mention her #2 hit with Clean Bandit and #6 hit with Right Here.
  8. +5 Love Me Like You Do +4 FourFive Seconds +3 Uptown Funk +2 Earned It +1 Heartbeat Song -1 Sugar -2 What I Did For Love -3 Hold Back The River -4 Ayo -5 Take Me To Church
  9. Zedd/Selena isn't out til May 10th. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!! I think that's one of the longest pre order I've ever seen. What other notably long pre orders have there been? Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back was ridiculous iirc, three months or so?
  10. Half of these aren't even remotely amusing?
  11. I soooo hope King is #1! And Bloodstream is my favourite on x. The remix is okay but I prefer the original
  12. Oh yeah 90s Baby is definitely more well known but Gold Teeth for me is more of a BIG TUNE if ya get me. I've not heard it anywhere except from my own iTunes library and when I saw Redlight live last month.
  13. Redlight - Gold Teeth is huge. Doubt it will even come close to Top 75 officially though
  14. Style? Weak? Get out of here, it's the best on the whole album!
  15. King for #1 then? Apparently Capital are playing it loads. Also #2 Rihanna - FourFiveSeconds yay
  16. Let us all appreciate this far superior version of West Coast...
  17. I love Charli XCX and I really like this new song, but I just find it irritating that her music now just does not compare to the stuff on her debut album, which was fantastic.
  18. Interesting that so many of them are black American artists. And I really didn't think Lil Wayne was so featured! The only song I can think of him doing off the top of my head are I Can Only Imagine
  19. Never seen this discussed before so thought I'd bring it up as it could be interesting. Does anyone know which acts have had the highest number of Top 40 hits as a featured artist? My guess would be Nicki Minaj? Or maybe Pitbull. Could be a few surprises though if anyone has actual data...
  20. scratchy23 posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Having Radio 1 playing in the office 9 - 5 every day means the playlist is VERY important to me! James Bay being re-added? Nah, f*** off. He's about as interesting as porridge. All just hype courtesy of Fearne Cotton and no actual substance or originality in his songs. YAY for Alex Adair, Years & Years and Avicii.
  21. So Uptown Funk won't get an 8th week! What was the last song to get 7 weeks at #1? Umbrella?
  22. THIS IS A POP MUSIC EMERGENCY!!!!! Love Me Like You Do is being released TONIGHT!!
  23. +10 Beyonce +9 Shift K3y - I Know +8 Years & Years - Desire +7 Lorde - Team +6 Katy Perry - This Is How We Do +5 Charli XCX - Break The Rules +4 Nicki Minaj - Pills N Potions +3 Milky Chance - Stolen Dance +2 Kiesza - No Enemiesz +1 Lana Del Rey - West Coast
  24. Gosh how is TMTC still so high in the chart? It's been around for an absolute age and in my opinion is such a DULL song. WHY WONT IT DIE?!
  25. Three now? Burnin' Up, Sweet Talker and Masterpiece - all gigantic flops.
