It's weird how Gecko isn't the absolute stand-out at the top of the chart by this point - it's been smashing it on pre-orders for weeks

Wait so streaming is being included as of this week?

Wow this Ed Sheeran campaign really is one huge enormous confusing mess. I really hope Gecko gets #1. It'll also be quite funny that Becky Hill will be the first ever Top 10 artist from The Voice (not counting Afterglow as she wasn't credited) despite not even making the final.

I don't think songs that aren't allowed to chart on the official chart should be allowed to show up on the iTunes chart..

That Naughty Boy song is so great. I've been obsessed with it for nearly two months now. I hope it becomes huge like La La La did. I remember first hearing La La La and being hooked straight away, loved it for ages and then BANG it became huge. And I still love it now!

One thing we can all be glad about is that the 'x' cover art is very aesthetically pleasing, so the iTunes chart looks quite pretty at the top this week.

#14 Demi Lovato - Neon Lights Taking out the four ineligible Ed Sheeran tracks, she's actually now Top 10, right?

Who?!

#TEAMGORGONCITY

5SOS aren't releasing an album this week. And even if they were, Ed would blow them out the water. I've gone for #1 with 75k-100k. I can't see it doing above 100 for some reason.

BEST Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway Black Eyed Peas - Pump It Muse - Knights Of Cydonia Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away Panic! At The Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off Beyoncé (feat. Jay-Z) - Déjà Vu Pussycat Dolls (feat. Lupe Fiasco) Paris Hilton - Stars Are Blind Fall Out Boy - Dance Dance Kooks - She Moves In Her Own Way Orson - Bright Idea Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On P!nk - Stupid Girls Pussycat Dolls (feat. Snoop Dogg) - Buttons Gorillaz - El Manana WORST

I am so pleasantly surprised by how well Salute is doing. I really thought it'd stall at about #18 then crash, then get reduced to 59p in a desperate attempt for it to do well, and fail. But no! Top 10 looks like a definite now. So happy for them.

Am I missing something? In what sense is Promise This, or indeed any other Cheryl song, credible?! If we're talking "credible" #1s from X Factor stars, the only one, really, has been Diana Vickers.

I saw Gorgon City over the weekend and they were pretty amazing, Here For You is an absolute belter. They deserve a #1

#115 Gorgon City - Here For You This has really shot up today! Any reason why? They may actually have a shot at #1 if they carry on at this rate.

Listen to the song and you'll know why it's not a Destinys Child song. Destinys Child are known for female empowerment, being sexy and sassy. "Say Yes" is all about giving it up for the LAWD

Anyone know what's happening with "Home" by Naughty Boy? He put it on his soundcloud in April but I've heard nothing about it since, and can't find a release date anywhere. It's such a nice song.

Wiggle is an abomination

New rumours heavily suggesting it's Rihanna, apparently. Supposedly someone/something called 'Soundfiends' has said that she's going to release it next week, and they were the first to break news about Diamonds and Can't Remember To Forget You. I SO HOPE THIS IS TRUE

Capital playlist isn't looking too outdated right now.. Only ones that really need to go now are Happy, The Man and Rather Be.

I think she'll be Top 30 on pre orders by the time it gets released, then will of course shoot to #1 on Sunday.

I'm fairly sure cheryl has confirmed it herself now
