Since Sam Smith on Feb 23rd we've had a new number one every single week, which is likely to continue in the next three weeks with Kiesza, Mr Probz and Calvin Harris. That would make it 11 "new" number ones in a row (if we're counting Happy as a new number one)

I really think Hard Out Here by Lily Allen could have absolutely smashed if it was released with a radio edit. Nobody was going to play that song with so many "balls", "tits" and "bitch" throughout. I absolutely love that track though and wish it had got the recognition it deserved.

It's just too similar to Animals, and Animals is still kind of relevant cos it was such a big song when it originally came out. The only way he was going to get anything that got close to how well Animals did was by doing something entirely different.
