  2. Any reason why What Now has risen loads recently? Very pleased that this is another hit for year.
  3. It's released at midnight tonight. Where will it chart next week? pPWcX-16A9Y I reckon about #28
  4. I think 1D deserve another #1 to really reflect how huge they are. Best Song Ever should have been #1 imo.

  7. The X Factor had no set theme, it was "heroes" and "songs picked by the public". So basically, songs week.
  8. It will be Top 10 after the X Factor final, don't worry

  11. Who would have ever seen this coming?! What Now outperforming Right Now massively. Not to mention Pour It Up as well.
  12. I meant on iTunes, DWUW went to #1 initially then crashed to the bottom of the top 40 in a matter of days, then rose again.
  13. Do What U Want has had a very similar run to Judas. Shooting up at the start, then dropping quickly, then slowly rising again
  14. I don't know what is so shocking tbh, Lostprophets weren't exactly a household name before all this happened. People will have seen the band name, been curious as to what music they've released before, had a listen, and liked it. A lot of their old stuff is actually really good, I used to be a fan back in the day. By downloading their music, they are not giving any money to Ian Watkins, his association with that band will never be re-instated. The other band members will get the royalties, and may even donate them to a child protection charity or something. Basically, people aren't downloading their music in support of Mr Watkins himself!
  15. Wow really glad What Now is looking like it will be a top 40 hit. PRAYING she gets an X Factor slot now cos she could easily go Top 20 if she performed in the final.
  16. What's the most recent time an act has had more than three songs in the Top 40? I know Lady Gaga had 4 in the top 20 after she released Born This Way. And I'm sure Rihanna has done it a few times over the past few years. One Direction could be one of the only acts to do so this century?
  17. I thought it was interesting how they barely even mentioned him on the 10 Year anniversary this week. They got Alexandra Burke, Shayne Ward, Olly Murs, Little Mix, Joe McElderry and Leona Lewis in as mentors, and Olly performed, but James didn't get a look in (except for a few seconds at the start when they showed photos of all nine winners) Tamera sang "Impossible" but they didn't even mention it as James's song, just a winners single, if I recall correctly. On a side note, do we think Rihanna will be performing "What Now" at any point this series?
  18. With Bastille performing on Alan Carr tonight, could they get to #1 overall? Apparently it's VERY close between them and Lily. It'd be nice for Bastille to get a number 1 but I want Lily there too.
  19. Omg that's such a good point. Tamera and Rihanna would be brilliant, they'd probably sing "Stay" though. Rihanna could easily perform with Rough Copy or Hannah though. Maybe even Luke.
  20. #36 - JLS - Billion Lights Shit man. Is this their worst performing single EVER? Aside from the one they released after 'Hottest Girl', which I wouldn't even count as a single.
  21. #96 - Rihanna - What Now #166 - Rihanna - What Now Hopefully this can keep rising, it's just been added to the Radio 1 playlist and Capital will probably be adding it too. If she can get an X Factor performance as well (which is likely, she's on at least once every year) she should have another Top 20 hit in the bag.
  22. I thought the OCC counted features as number 1s? Like they said that Rihanna has matched a record by Elvis and The Beatles of having 7 number 1s in 7 years, but two of those number 1s were songs she featured on (Run This Town and The Monster). If features do count, I think either Jessie J, Cheryl or Rita Ora will get more than four number ones eventually. I think Alexandra Burke or Pixie Lott have no hope, their time is up in terms of big success, and Leona Lewis hasn't had a proper hit in years.
  23. Oh dear :( Just lie there Gabz... lie at the bottom of the charts where your dreams of a career will burn and die :(
  24. #1155 - Sound Effects Library - Huge Fireworks Display Sound Effect YASSSS SLAY SOUND EFFECTS LIBRARY!!! GET THAT TOP 1200 SMASH
  25. Of course house has been popular for decades, but in the last couple of years it has surged in popularity. Tracks like 'Need U (100%)' and 'Sonnentanz' are examples of how it's really taken off. And yeah, dubstep is definitely dead now.
