  1. The Storm Queen song is, as someone mentioned earlier, a commercial example of what music is most popular with young people right now: house. If you went to any house party, "pre drinks" or cooler club nights this weekend, guaranteed that most of the music played would be house.
  2. Why don't Gaga's record company declare Do What U Want as the eligible track, and render Applause as chart ineligible? No ones going to miss Applause.
  3. Cheryl Cole and Take That both had songs called "The Flood" in the Top 40 at one point.
  4. #1 Eminem - The Monster (Feat. Rihanna) :yahoo: :yahoo: :cheer: :yahoo: :cheer:
  5. YES that's so true, Eminem and Rihanna need to be #1 so she can break her own record of having number ones in consecutive years 2007 - Umbrella 2008 - Take A Bow 2009 - Run This Town 2010 - Only Girl (In The World) 2011 - What's My Name/We Found Love 2012 - Diamonds 2013 - THE MONSTER!!
  6. They have had 3 performers on the Sunday many times in the past
  7. Why are One Direction releasing on a Monday again? What is the reasoning behind this?
  8. How will Applause be a classic in years to come when it's not even a classic now? Just Dance was #1 4 years ago yet no one hears that anymore. Applause doesn't stand a chance, longevity wise.
  9. Hasn't this 'Sail' song been around for years? I definitely remember hearing it when I very first started uni back in 2011.
  10. Cyril Hahn is by far the best song out this week but obviously it's not gonna touch the Top 100 cos it's too much of an 'underground' track I guess. I would have liked James Arthur to get #1 over Lorde but I love both songs :)
  11. Why would he not want to perform on the biggest show for promotion possible on UK TV?
  12. Perfect Form's official release is this Sunday, the version that's charting is being cherry picked off the latest Annie Mac Presents compilation album. I'm glad that I've bought the song a little more attention at least! It deserves to be at least well known.
  13. #239 Cyril Hahn - Perfect Form Really hope this can at least get into the top 200. It's a beautiful song. If you haven't heard it, listen here:
  14. There is absolutely no way that Robin Thicke won't be performing Blurred Lines, whether it's in its entirety or as part of a medley. I also wouldn't be surprised if Katy does 'Roar'.
  15. I remember when they featured "Friday" by Rebecca Black on Celeb Juice, it shot up the iTunes chart to around #32 when otherwise it was around the #55 mark. I really don't see what other reason there could be for Pour It Up's rise when it has pretty much no airplay as far as I know.
  16. "Pour It Up" was used quite heavily in a segment on Celebrity Juice last night, which probably explains it's recent rise. Also, I think it's fairly obvious why they delete the single versions of tracks. If there's two versions of the exact same song floating about, then it makes sense to delete one, so the other one can climb the charts more. It may not be selling any more copies, but it at least sends it higher up the iTunes chart, meaning it generates more interest and more people will be inclined to buy it etc.
  17. Cannot believe 'Juliet' STILL hasn't been released, that is ridiculous.
  18. "Berserk" is a rip off of 99 Problems and is generally just a terrible mess of a song. Does not deserve #1. Wrecking Ball on the other hand is fantastic. Hope it gets there.
  19. LORDE IS 16?! Wow. She is gonna be huge. I really hope that that stupid inane Fox song doesn't become big, I think it's so stupid, it's not even funny.
  20. Looking at the tracklisting for Union J's album which is out in October, the last track on the album is called Skyscraper. Discuss.
  21. Skyscraper is a nice song but on the whole I find it a little underwhelming, I feel like it could have been a lot better and more epic. I also think in the second verse when she says "would it make you feel better" she sounds incredibly flat. I'm so glad it's doing well though, I love her. Made In The USA is one of my favourite songs of the year.

    Rihanna
  23. #108 - Demi Lovato - Made In The USA Heard this on Capital at about 5:45 last night. Hopefully they'll start playing it regularly and it can enter the Top 100, love it.
  24. What's the fastest a song has gone to #1 on iTunes?
  25. 'Lifted' has really grown on me, heard it on the radio today and it's got such an epic sound. Not a patch on 'La La La' though. It'd be nice if Rizzle Kicks could get a number one on their own, although I think 'Lost Generation' is fairly weak.
