  1. #36 - JLS - Billion Lights Shit man. Is this their worst performing single EVER? Aside from the one they released after 'Hottest Girl', which I wouldn't even count as a single.

I think that Half Of Me, Lost In Paradise, Nobody's Business or Jump are better than What Now. And of course Diamonds, Right Now and Stay are all better too!
  3. #96 - Rihanna - What Now #166 - Rihanna - What Now Hopefully this can keep rising, it's just been added to the Radio 1 playlist and Capital will probably be adding it too. If she can get an X Factor performance as well (which is likely, she's on at least once every year) she should have another Top 20 hit in the bag.

Nice to see Charli XCX move up, hope that SuperLove becomes a big hit. It's so great Also surprised (but happy) that What Now has been added, I never expected it to even get a proper video, let alone radio adds. It's not even one of the strongest on the album by any stretch!
  5. I thought the OCC counted features as number 1s? Like they said that Rihanna has matched a record by Elvis and The Beatles of having 7 number 1s in 7 years, but two of those number 1s were songs she featured on (Run This Town and The Monster). If features do count, I think either Jessie J, Cheryl or Rita Ora will get more than four number ones eventually. I think Alexandra Burke or Pixie Lott have no hope, their time is up in terms of big success, and Leona Lewis hasn't had a proper hit in years.
  6. Oh dear :( Just lie there Gabz... lie at the bottom of the charts where your dreams of a career will burn and die :(
  7. #1155 - Sound Effects Library - Huge Fireworks Display Sound Effect YASSSS SLAY SOUND EFFECTS LIBRARY!!! GET THAT TOP 1200 SMASH
  8. Of course house has been popular for decades, but in the last couple of years it has surged in popularity. Tracks like 'Need U (100%)' and 'Sonnentanz' are examples of how it's really taken off. And yeah, dubstep is definitely dead now.
  9. The Storm Queen song is, as someone mentioned earlier, a commercial example of what music is most popular with young people right now: house. If you went to any house party, "pre drinks" or cooler club nights this weekend, guaranteed that most of the music played would be house.
  10. Why don't Gaga's record company declare Do What U Want as the eligible track, and render Applause as chart ineligible? No ones going to miss Applause.

All I want is Rihanna to be able to get to #1 so she can continue her record of consecutive years with a number one!
  12. Cheryl Cole and Take That both had songs called "The Flood" in the Top 40 at one point.
  13. #1 Eminem - The Monster (Feat. Rihanna) :yahoo: :yahoo: :cheer: :yahoo: :cheer:
  14. YES that's so true, Eminem and Rihanna need to be #1 so she can break her own record of having number ones in consecutive years 2007 - Umbrella 2008 - Take A Bow 2009 - Run This Town 2010 - Only Girl (In The World) 2011 - What's My Name/We Found Love 2012 - Diamonds 2013 - THE MONSTER!!
  15. They have had 3 performers on the Sunday many times in the past
  16. Why are One Direction releasing on a Monday again? What is the reasoning behind this?
  17. How will Applause be a classic in years to come when it's not even a classic now? Just Dance was #1 4 years ago yet no one hears that anymore. Applause doesn't stand a chance, longevity wise.
  18. Hasn't this 'Sail' song been around for years? I definitely remember hearing it when I very first started uni back in 2011.

So DWUW is ineligible to chart then? Hysterical.
  20. Cyril Hahn is by far the best song out this week but obviously it's not gonna touch the Top 100 cos it's too much of an 'underground' track I guess. I would have liked James Arthur to get #1 over Lorde but I love both songs :)
  21. Why would he not want to perform on the biggest show for promotion possible on UK TV?
  22. Perfect Form's official release is this Sunday, the version that's charting is being cherry picked off the latest Annie Mac Presents compilation album. I'm glad that I've bought the song a little more attention at least! It deserves to be at least well known.
  23. #239 Cyril Hahn - Perfect Form Really hope this can at least get into the top 200. It's a beautiful song. If you haven't heard it, listen here:
  24. There is absolutely no way that Robin Thicke won't be performing Blurred Lines, whether it's in its entirety or as part of a medley. I also wouldn't be surprised if Katy does 'Roar'.
  25. I remember when they featured "Friday" by Rebecca Black on Celeb Juice, it shot up the iTunes chart to around #32 when otherwise it was around the #55 mark. I really don't see what other reason there could be for Pour It Up's rise when it has pretty much no airplay as far as I know.
