God you’d be FUMING if you were Rudimental and on the week Drake goes down, someone else could be on their way up!! I think These Days will just get it. Deservedly so. Also excited for the first female to be #1 since Havana...

Cigarette is incredibly similar to Check, maybe that’s why they’ve not added it
  3. The Shawn Mendes song is good!!!
  4. Ariana is on her way... I reckon she’ll surprise-release a single before the end of April. If it’s a good song she could go straight to #1. I hope Drake f***s off before then though! Such a NOTHING song
  5. Amazing to see Bebe Rexha so high. Could never have predicted a song from an EP no one listened to in August would be Top 5 on iTunes in March 2018! She deserves so much more. All Your Fault Pt 1 & 2 are fantastic
  6. Wow New Rules was NEVER an iTunes number one? That can’t be right?

Glad BeBe is getting a hit! Her two EPs she released last year (basically an album chopped in half and released six months apart!) was one of my favourite releases in music last year. Every track bar maybe one (That’s It) absolute gold. She deserves more.

The hip hop monopoly on the charts is getting so boring. Maybe I'm getting old (I'm 24...) but so many songs at the moment sound the exact same and aren't exciting at all. J Hus, Not3s, Ramz, Post Malone, Migos... all these artists are just blurring into one for me. Drake's sound is obviously more well known but God's Plan is boring to me. Is pop dying?

  11. I’ve only properly followed it since 2012 or so. 2014 stands out as there was a new number one pretty much every week! And lots of housey dance songs

Love looking back at this each year! Of 20 predictions there, 10 came true It definitely has been Ed Sheeran year, sadly... I'll make a 2018 thread at some point unless someone already has!
  13. I can't see them ever removing Xmas songs from the charts, for a number of reasons 1) They only take over for about 5 weeks of the year 2) People LIKE Christmas songs, the average Joe would be happy to see them in the charts 3) What counts as a Christmas song? Does it have to reference Christmas? What counts as a reference to Christmas? is East 17 actually a Christmas song? It's too much of a grey area I personally don't mind it at all!

Thank God “Cola” is off Such a boring song that they’ve hammered
  18. Ed Sheeran is releasing a new version of Perfect today featuring Beyoncé. His odds have been slashed. I still think Mariah could clinch it. Or if Anywhere FINALLY takes off on streaming in the next couple of weeks, Rita could? It’s certainly an open race at this point...

Aside from Jack Garratt that list is pretty extraordinary really. This award is really huge. I love many of Mabel’s songs. I don’t know much of Jorja’s but I love On My Mind and Teenage Fantasy. Stefflon isn’t for me although Instruction is great.
  20. Best to worst: Anton Powers - Baby Dua Lipa - Be The One Paramore - Hard Times Taylor Swift - Ready for it? Sean Paul - No Lie James Hype - More Than Friends Logic - 1-800 French Montana - Unforgettable Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes Carly Rae Jepsen - Cut to the Feeling
  21. Best to worst: Dua Lipa - New Rules Jonas Blue - Mama Taylor Swift - Look what You Made Me Do Calvin Harris - Feels Chainsmokers - Paris Paloma Faith - Crybaby Sigala - Came Here For Love Stefflon Don - Hurtin Me Lady Gaga - The Cure Sigrid - Don’t Kill My Vibe

Lord please can Anywhere have one week on the top!! I feel like this is her last chance before it starts to flag a bit It just needs some help on streaming When can Havana be on ACR? Anyone got the stats?
  23. PRETTYMUCH do not deserve a finale performance, it’s actually embarrassing that it’s happening. However their song Would You Mind is really great
  24. Seems to be some confusion on if the classic Xmas singles will be affected by ACR in the run up to Christmas? My understanding was that if a song has had a sales increase week on week, then it will not be hit by ACR and all streams will count as usual at the 150:1 ratio. Is this correct? In the iTunes thread, I saw someone say different... I have Mariah at 50/1 with £10 so I’m anxious! Haha
  25. Best to worst: Clean Bandit - Symphony Louisa Johnson - Best Behaviour Little Mix - No More Sad Songs Charli XCX - Boys Charlie Puth - Attention Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You ALMA - Chasing Highs Kesha - Praying Yungen - Bestie Post Malone - Rockstar Those top 3 are in my top 4 of the entire year! The only track that beats them is Power for me
