  1. Best to worst: Little Mix - Power Little Mix - Reggaeton Lento Jax Jones - You Don't Know Me Cheat Codes - No Promises Avicii - Lonely Together Shawn Mendes - There's Nothing Holding Me Back Selena Gomez - Bad Liar Luis Fonsi - Despacito Steps - Scared of the Dark J Hus - Did You See
  2. Would Zak Abel be eligible? He's had an album that charted at #100 out but never had a top 100 single. Aside from his Gorgon City feature 'Unmissable' that charted at #19
  3. Must be soon, they’ve teased a clip of it a few times now.
  4. Rita is definitely better off releasing next year. Her album would get lost in the Q4 charts. The albums being bought at this time of year are mostly for Xmas presents. The biggest demographics for Xmas presents would be mums, dads, grannies and to a lesser extent, young kids. Rita’s demographic isn’t really any of those. She’s a pop star who has a wider but not a niche appeal. The likes of Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Adele etc. do well in Q4 cos they appeal to the above markets. Rita will certainly chart higher when she doesn’t have that competition.
  5. I really think Rita will climb to #1 in a few weeks

Didn’t realise, no. The links aren’t exactly blindingly clear. But thanks.

Any sign of Zak Abel’s album? This guys talent is insane, and the album is so good. It deserves AT LEAST top 40

You’re all kidding yourselves if you think Demi is more musically relevant here than Miley! Miley has two number ones and Wrecking Ball is one of most iconic pop songs from the 2010s. Instantly recognisable lyrics and video. She’s a household name. Just because her current era is a bit of a flop doesn’t mean she’s not a huge star still. Demi gets okay-sized hits but ask the average person to name a Demi song and they would seriously struggle. I think most would struggle to pick her out of a line up too. She’s nowhere near a household name. Selena is nothing here lol.

Really surprised at how well Zayn is doing. The song to me is so forgettable and bland. But people seem to really like it
  10. Lol sorry what's this about Clean bandit being a great booking? I adore Clean Bandit but they're hardly a huge name. They headlines Manchester Pride this year which kinda says it all, if they're happy to take that... I reckon the following will definitely gets slots this year: Little Mix, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Sam Smith, James Arthur, Matt Terry They may also get the likes of Dua Lipa and Stormzy on board just for some **fresh faces** Also Simon's new boyband PRETTYMUCH are a good shout. Their debut single hasn't been pushed here yet so they're probably waiting for X Factor to promote it. It's actually a really great song.

Not quite. It'll be one of the biggest sellers of the year purely cos of the Xmas market. I agree the song is boring though. It sounds like a bonus track from his debut.
  12. Little Mix dark red I really hope they get to #1 this week although it's looking unlikely now
  13. I think it's exactly that. Older artists attract older listeners who will be less inclined to be consuming newer technologies. They'll stick to what they know and buy physical albums or download from iTunes. In 10 years time when the concept of buying music is dead, streaming will be becoming old fashioned. Who knows what could be the next way to consume music?
  14. If only there were a way for Dua to discount her streams too 😂
  15. That Script song is dreadful. He is so whiny on the chorus. Sounds like Kermit the Frog.
  16. The rate that she's going, I think getting #1 on iTunes for Dua Lipa is not out of the question. If they drop it to 59p particularly. I don't think she'd get #1 officially, or even a #1 on sales, but I think a short stint at #1 on iTunes is very dua-ble for her (hehehehe)

They've progressed an unbelievable amount since the show. They've gone from four goofy girls next door to four absolute gorgeous superstars. The best X factor act of all time
  18. Is it not part of the prize of winning X Factor that you release an album? Is she entitled to it..? I really want her to do well but people just don't seem to care for her.

Where is Wild Thoughts? EDIT: Just seen, #2 in this morning's update, so likely to finish #3 after Grenfell & Despacito
  20. Jorja Smith getting a solo seems an odd choice, seeing as she's virtually unknown in the UK, but good for her.
  21. Who sings in what order? Just by voices I can work out: STORMZY ???? JAMES BLUNT RITA ORA ???? JAMES ARTHUR LIAM PAYNE? LEONA LEWIS ???? PALOMA FAITH LOUIS TOMLINSON JAMES ARTHUR ???? ???? LEONA LEWIS EMELI SANDE JAMES ARTHUR ???? PALOMA FAITH ELLA EYRE ANNE MARIE LOUISA JOHNSON
  22. Power is steadily rising up Spotify too. Watch it stall officially at 11 though :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Shape of You lingering around like a fart in a lift. Symphony is so deserving of a #1! And would be Zara's first!
  24. I feel there's not been enough praise for Disciples getting to #4 without a reduction to 59p. It doesn't feel like a hit at all. I'm so pleased cos it's one of my absolute favourites of 2017 so far

Symphony is now #1 on Spotify !!
