iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 17th June 2016
One Dance is so undeserving of this. It's such an average song. I really don't get why it's so popular.

#3 on sales alone! Rizzle Kicks flopping then. They're very 2011/2012 aren't they. I don't think they'll ever have a hit again.

Heard that Gold song by Kiarra yesterday and oh my god what a load of f***ing irritating shite.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 3rd June 2016
You know in the 'NOW' TV adverts they always say "An incredible TWELVE number ones!" or "Featuring an unbelievable NINE number ones!!" What is it going to be for the next one? "Featuring ONE number one that wouldn't f***ing go away for 3 months!"

Zak Abel in the iTunes Top 10 is a beautiful sight to see. Shame it's a joke song and he's not credited! But a triumph nonetheless. He is crazily talented and I predict he'll be huge.

Number 1 changes due to streaming
So Bieber - Sorry is the only song ever to be officially #1 without ever making #1 on sales. I'm sure this will be repeated many times in the future

Both Calvin Harris and Rihanna are cursed with getting so many #2 peaking singles over their time. It would make sense for it to continue here!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd April 2016
I would imagine so. It's only lost 3 days of sales and has more or less no streams but I would say it would have enough sales to get it at least top 30

Is this a first? Has an entire album ever been top 40 before?

Keep On Dancin' | 3rd single
Will be interesting to see how different the single version will be. Didn't they say that Flashlight was going to be altered for the single version but it ended up being more or less identical? Keep On Dancin' is a great track from a very weak album. I prefer Don't Need Nobody though. Also - this is the fourth single, not third! Love Me Like You Do, On My Mind, Army and now Keep On Dancin'

Isn't Sia's streaming quite poor though? Mike Posner could beat her overall I reckon next week

Is she ever going to let that stupid little girl go? You'll never re-create Chandelier, love. Move on.

the Spotify+iTunes combined top 100
I'm not writing her off as a flop. I'm one of her biggest fans. I just think that regardless of how many number 1s you've had, it must be frustrating coming second best so many times in your career.

Oh wow Mike Posner has moved up quick! I think that and Stressed Out will be future #1s.

the Spotify+iTunes combined top 100
Rihanna to be cursed with yet another official #2 then? This will be the sixth of her career. Eighth if you include features.

Who Am I is such a huge disappointment. It sounds like a filler track from Little Red. She can do SO much better. I still have high hopes for the album though cos her debut album is absolutely flawless start to finish. Every track absolutely 10/10.

Artists which are overdue a greatest hits/best of set
Aren't Greatest Hits a bit outdated now? These days they're just used as a way for a record label to finish off whatever deal they have with the artist to get X amount of albums released. The Saturdays and N-Dubz are example of this from recent years, both have Greatest Hits albums but the general public would probably struggle to name a single song by either. The world of streaming has taken away the real need for a Greatest Hits, in my opinion. If you want Rihanna's Greatest Hits just make your own, go on Spotify and make a playlist of her biggest songs. Sorted.

OCC Trending Chart to be launched
Lol at Love Me Like You featuring on there. It's like when Capital or Heart say something like "I've got something BRAND NEW from so-and-so" then introduce a song that's 6 months old.
