Yes please!- Most weeks in total in the UK Singles Top 100, 75, 50, 40
I wonder if it can do an entire year? I think it has a great chance!- BJSC 183 // Odds and Predictions
This will be a landslide for Fljótavík I reckon. FARC runners up.- Club Bizarre @ The Indie Disco: Results
Many congrats AllStarBySmashMouth! Had to relisten to your entry as couldn't recall it and yeah definitely not a standout for me but the number don't lie (and was at least much better than the runner up which was one of my least faves of the contest sorry!) Great to see Storken come third, that certainly was a standout and I really thought it was gonna get the W after seeing all the high pointage it was receiving. Also happy that my fave entry Lunatic Calm came top 10 and Protocol, The Faint and Art Vs Science all came top half - thanks for these discoveries! Only minor gripe was Thylacine finishing so low, thought that was a big standout and really expected it to be challenging! Can't be too disappointed with 17th as this was certainly not my main lane - thanks for those who voted, most pleased that it got its highest score from none other than the host whom I of course had mentioned the artist's name was rather fitting (although I then decided to subsequently delete this part of my comment as I briefly totally forgot this was an anonymous contest and that rather conspicuous clue could have linked it to myself lol). Look forward to the next one!- Zanmatony National Thread
I had to give this another listen anyway but with the video this time given some of the complimentary comments and I have to say that's some extremely impressive visual accompaniments to an already incredible song! Gutted I wasn't able to provide support, really thought this would have been a safe qualifier. Rarely has a song struck such a chord with me on my initial listen, it really gives off "Parmi Les Mortels" vibes. And you can add this one to my bank of aforementioned hyberbolic statements!- 2026 FIFA World Cup - Europe Playoffs
Indeed one of the biggest robberies in WC history that incident!- 2026 FIFA World Cup - Europe Playoffs
Italy have been completely anonymous since they won it in 2006. Even in the following tournos they did qualify for they went out in the group stage without so much as a whimper. Italian football is in the mud.- Europe - World Cup 2026 Qualification
Every passing tournament that Italy fail to qualify for highlights just how much England fumbled the Euro 2020 opportunity.- England v Japan
That team put out tonight was dreadful. Foden false 9 is absolutely laughable, guy can't even get in the City team. Same with White at Arsenal. Palmer has been mostly anonymous this season. Gordon is nowhere near international quality, the fact he's nailed on to start at the WC is a sorry thought. Anderson is also massively overrated. But the main thing i noticed is not a single player wants to be playing a pointless friendly at this point of the domestic season. No one busting a gut to do anything...- Club Bizarre @ The Indie Disco: Voting
My entry definitely got lost in the pack I feel. I'd imagine it'd rank middlish for a lot of participants which as we known isn't much cop for a song contest. Let's get double figures- Premier League 2025/26
It's a fine shout for the remainder of the season but a FIVE YEAR DEAL (as is being reported) is absolute lunacy. Do Spurs ever do their homework before appointing a manager? De Zerbi does not do commitment, he's barely lasted more than a season at every club he's ever managed.- Teddy Swims - TBA
Literally a carbon copy of Rag N Bone Man, one massive hit a few smaller ones and then fades into obscurity. He should do the same though and lend his voice to a dance track, think that's the only way he's gets another huge smash.- BJSC 183 // Semi Finals
How have I only just noticed that we had songs called Traum and Der Traum entered into the same contest, what a funky coincidence.- BJSC 183 // Semi Final Results
Ah just noticed Aelandor didn't qualify either? Semi 1 went rogue...- BJSC 183 // Semi Final Results
I know once before a LONG time ago this was done but every few years the same conversation springs up so maybe sometime in the near future it would be an interesting re-experiment. But I personally have no qualms with the transparent nature of BJSC as yes it's fun to hype posters' entries and I personally don't think any participant genuinely votes/doesn't vote for an entry just because of the country behind it. I think if this actually happens then they should probably find another hobby!- BJSC 183 // Semi Final Results
Damn I thought this was my safest entry of the year! But then when DanBet predicts us out that's 99.9% of time a death knell so I was already mentally prepared. Really thought the dancebloc would EAT this one up, I need to reassess my loyalties jk 😜 But seriously I'm more upset about Zanmatony, that would have been an EASY 18 for me in the final, what an entry!- RESULTS: Pop Princesses (2004) • The Rate

This is my fave entry of yours in a good while, hoping it can defy the DNQ preds!- Premier League 2025/26
De Zerbi looking like to be the guy, a sensible choice compared with some of the ridiculous names being thrown about. Still don't think anything will change and Spurs will be relying on other teams losing more to survive.- Club Bizarre @ The Indie Disco: Voting
I found quite a bit of filler myself but then I wouldn't put this as a personal fave subgenre. That said, I have a good 5 or 6 I'll be taking away as top discoveries.- 10 Years of Dobago: A Reflection
BJSC 119 Host Country: Lotunia Overview A first voyage to Lotunia beckoned for 119 where the pressure was very much now off following our DNQ last time out. That said, there was still a tiny chance of finishing in the EOY top 10 for the first time ever but this would require 2 massive results in the remaining contests that year. Outside of BJSC, it was around this time that I'd started getting into unsolved mysteries and other miscellaneous crime stories of the past and this relatively new interest no doubt churned out the inspiration for our entry choice, which was most appropriate given this contest took place in and around Hallowe'en. Unovia would win their second contest, exactly 2 years after their first with one of the largest winning margins of the year. Dobago's Entry Result: 35th Having consumed a wide range of true crime YouTube content it probably should have come as no surprise that the algorithm would eventually spit out something from SKYND, an Australian duo whose singles discography reads like a Netflix docuseries of creepy and infamous real world cases of years gone by. The Elisa Lam story is one of the most disturbing yet fascinating unsolved mysteries of all time with a large virtual footprint and indeed its own series on the Flix. The title of this song alone certainly piqued my interest given it was a name I was familiar with but I wasn't expecting something quite so compelling as what I heard. Featuring haunting spoken word sections and a lyrical reference to "4-2-6-2-10-5-1" (a combination of lift numbers which spawned a resultant elevator game online trend), the song fuses industrial rock elements with dark, demonic EDM production to capture a real sense of foreboding dread. As mentioned, this certainly made sense as a "throwaway" entry given the proximity to Hallowe'en and with very few expectations it ended up qualifying before an unsurprising bottom 5 finish. Amusingly, prior to the results thread I had predicted a 35th place finish and that is indeed exactly how things played out. It's a fun and creative entry based upon a dark, real-life event but not one that would ordinarily get wheeled out outside of a specifically-themed listening session. Winning Entry Country: Unovia In a year of very little Dobagan support to winners, we were at least able to offer some mealworm points to this catchy house track which as mentioned romped to victory by a massive 59 points. Despite not having been entered to the competition before, Franky Wah was a name I recognised although had never sought to delve into any of his content. This track is a very accomplished-sounding slice of house with a suitably effective, eerie vocal overlay. Certainly my personal highlight is the thumping, techno production in the refrains but overall, it's nothing particularly standout which on reflection joins the list of winners whose success surprises me somewhat. Clearly it received strong support across both the pop and dance blocs, which is generally something which has been almost mandatorily required to challenge for victory for many a year now. 18-Pointer Country: Kluminican Republic (result: 20th) The revisiting of 'Cruel Summer' a couple of contests back got me thinking of other novelty entries we had enjoyed and subsequently rewarded handsomely and in no time at all up springs this absolute nugget. With the heart-breaking DNQ of 'Trip To Ireland' still fresh in the memory, I had everything crossed again from the other semi-final that this similar-sounding and delightfully bonkers ditty would be rewarded with a qualification and thankfully, this time around that was what occurred. Hardstyle was certainly en vogue within Dobagan shores at this time and this entry perfectly captures that prevailing balls to the wall sound and sprinkles in schlager elements with the warbling yodels and numerous lyrical references to the popular liqueur. Which results in the exact kind of bonkers novelty that is right up our proverbial. But aside from that, it simply is a great song on its own merits, balancing the fun and quirky elements just about right. It very pleasingly finished inside the top 20 by a solitary point. This is the sort of song I would LOVE to see at Eurovision with a full-scale accompanying dance routine, make it happen one day someone! This was an easy 18 for us with 15 going to the electrifying techno banger that was '9 Times' and 13 to our favourite song from our semi, the admirably strong Kamferdrops follow-up of 'f*** You, Jag Älskar Dig'.- Harry Potter • Season 1
