I'm glad we're targeting players who have actually proved they can do it in the prem (although as I've previously mentioned that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be flops for us!) but it's still a more sensible approach than chancing it on absolute nobodies like Hojlund and Zirkzee. Main thing is players are still wanting to play for us over teams in the CL! Though I'm sure we're massively overpaying on wage demands to make that happen.

Interesting point you made about the chart overflows, I think we can at least we grateful for 3 track per artist rule because I would imagine album bombs would pretty much happen all the time like they do on Billboard and the singles chart would effectively become a weekly national album listenalong. Also yes the introduction of ACR effectively did make it extremely difficult for anyone to ever break Bryan Adam's record (I think Despacito and Dance Monkey would both have matched it in a no-ACR world) but it's all the "tweaks" they've made since then which frustrate me because it seems as if they're all designed to make ACR less effective. Now it's become extremely easy to avoid ACR and to go back onto SCR so they might as well just abolish the whole rule.

I'm genuinely impressed this show is still going especially after what happened to the X Factor but I suppose it's more akin to something like Strictly. I haven't watched since the curtailed 2020 series but I've made a mental note to watch all of the winning entries in the years since.

Pretty good top 10 too, voted for half of it. Justice for Brer though that was not a deserving last placer. Pleased with a top 10 finish, only my second ever in the lower half of top 10 (and the other one also coincidentally finished 9th way back in volume 14).
