    Yes Piastri schooled Leclerc today. When he went for the lead Leclerc left the door totally open at turn 1 but when the roles were reversed Piastri parked it on the inside every time and gave Leclerc no chance. Brilliant stuff.

     

    Sainz vs Perez looked clumsy as hell but I seem to recall they only showed the Sainz onboard on the feed and not Perez and I've not been able to find his onboard since so need to see how much he was angling his car to the right if at all.

     

    Also I've still not seen why Norris got hit with yellow flags during Q1 yesterday, who or what caused these yellow flags?

    It won't just be those 10 points from Hungary and Monza though. Lando has thrown away plenty of opportunities to score more through his own mistakes and failures to capitalise on having the best car. Look at Imola, Spain, Silverstone, Canada and Austria for example.

     

    If the rest of the season plays out like the last 5 or so races and Norris does come out champion, there will be a fair number of people saying he's not truly worthy of it. Pretty sure he'd not want it to be that way.

    Noticeable too that McLaren are refusing to give him number one status only to 'bias' him. There's a lot to read in to that.

     

    Austria, the one where Max ran him off the road?

     

    And yeah as Liam says I'm sure Max doesn't give a jot about how his 2021 title came about, people will always try and create narratives about how a driver was undeserving of a title because of their biases. But regardless of the circumstances, if Lando does overturn what was at its peak an 84 point deficit that would monumental and unthinkable.

    A first ever 12th place! And only 51 points within winning :o a very condensed top of the leaderboard this time.

     

    Congrats to Lindsey, there was a lot of mid-tier nondescript pop in this contest but Predator & Situations were the 2 entries that stood out. All of my top 6 bar Scotland 2 finished in the top 10 so a strong showing at the sharp end of the scoreboard.

     

    Great hosting blacksquare, being away (and very busy due to rather important personal matters) almost all contest meant I couldn't consume a lot of the very exciting looking content but I'll be sure to have a dig back through in the coming days/weeks.
