Any idea why it was released world wide yesterday but not until November 23rd in the UK? Doesn't that harm it's chances of a no.1 here?

I'm annoyed we don't own the music we buy off itunes..that we are technically renting it. For my fave bands/singers I will go out and buy the CD.

Not sure about impact of Text Santa, but Robbie is covering Dermots R2 show on Saturday from 3pm and then he's on Strictly that evening, but both are too late to count for xmas present buying of physical cd's that day and the charts this week.

10K separating no.1 and no.5 album is incredibly close...should get interesting update on update this week. Did expect Gary and 1D to pick up because of their performances on the X Factor Final. Surprised Robbie didn't perform on Strictly or X Factor, his performance on Strictly this coming weekend will be too late to count for this weeks charts. But Olly being higher than Beyonce on just a re-packaged album?

Curious about the album charts and whether Beyonce is leading against 1D and Robbie Williams.

His "One Night at the Palladium" concert is on the BBC1 at 8pm this Friday....should be interesting to see the sales after that too.

There's a big difference once you include international sales as Gary's a UK artist only, mediatraffic shows Robbie on 214,000 for first week world sales.

For me I can't take seriously acts that don't always sing live but do pre-records or have auto tuning on whilst singing. I never got how people could accept this from Cheryl Cole or 1D. The rest is upto personal taste but as a minimum you have to sing live.

Gary Barlow's new album was being sold for £1.49 on amazon yesterday as a download- the deal was posted on Hotdeals UK and people even used the £1 you get for joining amazon cloudplayer to get it for less. Do they discount those sales during that period until the price was fixed by amazon, otherwise its a budget cd.

Really hope Lily gets it, but Bastille are performing on Alan Carr's Chatty Man tonight and Gary Barlow can plug his song on XFactor/Xtra Factor and then is on the Jonathan Ross show singing his single tomorrow night as well.....
