I wasn't responding to any particular post, it's just something that I've seen a lot here. I understand it happening when the change occurred, but after awhile the complaining and comparing just seems so pointless. The world has changed, a lot of people buy music subscriptions now instead of individual songs, it doesn't seem unreasonable that their spending should somehow be reflected in the charts. And at least it's not as bad as we have it here, where Lady Gaga can get a top 10 song based on buying ads on YouTube, or Harlem Shake being #1 for 5 weeks because a 30 second snippet of it became a meme.
