  1. After listening to the live version, this is probably going to be my favourite of what's released so far.

This is definitely his best since ‘You Don’t Know Love’ for me. Had it on repeat. ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ came on afterwards and I thought he should have seen if Rizzle Kicks fancied another collab as they would fit perfectly on this.
  3. Very ‘Valerie’ inspired but I’m really enjoying this. I’m going to say the collaboration came about because the lead singer and Vicky have the same surname.
  4. It’s weird promoting a new single and a compilation at the same time but the single not being on the compilation.

It’s hard to believe it never was picked as a single. Has to be one of their best!
  6. ‘Slide Away’ live from the first night in Cardiff is out now. They sound fantastic!

‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’ not making the cut is the one I’m most surprised at. Although Liam never really sang that or anything post ‘Be Here Now’ in his solo shows so maybe that was part of the agreement when the reunion was being organised.

So has Capital took a thing against Jade then?

Not exactly anything new sounding from him but I’m liking this more than anything on his last album.

The Sun is reporting Lewis will be making a comeback this weekend at Glastonbury with a secret set and a new single being released. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/35569812/lewis-capaldi-comeback-glastonbury/amp/

Quite an interesting strategy. I’m quite surprised he didn’t have it out in time for the tour.

Sorry I must of missed that

It says he co-wrote it on the Apple Music credits of the song.

When is Radio 1 Anthems launching on DAB?
  15. I know the credited sample in this but part of it reminded me of something else. In the “talkin bout my lover” part it sounds a bit like the drop in The Chainsmokers ‘Closer’.
  16. Wasn’t this called “Stay A While” and was on his EP he released?
  17. It’s quite poppy and not what I was expecting. I’m quite liking it though!
  18. They are getting on a bit now so I'm quite surprised Radio 1 are still going to continue to support them. I'm not complaining though. Looking forward to hear the new music!
  19. I agree. The problem with Sam he hasn't released anything that is as strong as 'Space Man'. I wasn't particularly excited about it when it was originally announced for Eurovision at the time but I was listening to it the other day and it's just a great song and has something the rest of his material is lacking.
  20. It’s nice to see them doing interviews after the contest. In previous years if the UK don’t do well no one’s interested and you never hear from them again.
  21. That’s quite the coincidence. I post that then after all these years it gets added. Thanks for posting, I wouldn’t have probably noticed otherwise.
  22. You would never have had this sort of thing prior to 2022. So regardless of the results the general good will to the entrants has been good to see.
  23. I imagine this will make more sense played during the film as I wouldn’t have said it was a song from The Smurfs movie.
  24. Watching back the staging is giving X Factor live show performance.
  25. After watching the final product for me the staging and song is no better than anything we sent in the 10 years prior to Sam Ryder. The chandelier is as effective as the trumpets were for James Newman. The girls themselves are fantastic and with the right song, staging and having a label that could put a bit of money into it they would do well but this isn’t it. They really could have went with ‘Prove Me Right’ with very basic staging and it would do far better than this.
