  1. You can tell the trend that Kato is featured on is for the slightly older generation when it’s doing nothing on Spotify but doing well on iTunes. On my TikTok I hear it every second video.
  2. ‘The Treadmill’ from the Deluxe Edition is fantastic! Should definitely be a single.
  3. ‘The Treadmill’ would make a good radio single.

‘Run This Town’ has been turned into a Christmas song called ‘Christmas Starts Tonight’ it features The Ordinary Boys. I think it works quite well actually.

I’m not sure why that was just a B-side to ‘Azizam’ and not on the original album. Would have definitely been a better single than ‘Camera’. I’m quite surprised there’s not an obvious big single within the new tracks to give the album a boost.

'Save Me' started the era very strongly and seemed to be go down well when released but the rest of the album for me isn't of the same quality. Really he should have just performed that on Strictly and preferably when the album was released and it would have got a good few extra sales.

‘Guilty’ should have really been released instead of ‘Run This Town’ and performed on Strictly it’s a great track. The first verse of ‘Knees Up’ reminds me of ‘Chaise Longue’ by Wet Leg.

If he wanted to release a slow wedding type song I feel ‘The Vow’ would have been the better choice. That would sell the album better if he done a few live performances of it.
  9. I’m a big fan but I do agree his first album had a bit more life and sounded a bit different. Apart from ‘People Watching’ which basically is ‘Getting Started’ with different lyrics the rest of the album just blends together with no change throughout.
  10. Zoe Ball to replace Tess and Rylan to replace Claudia would be my suggestion. Safe, fun and will keep all age groups who watch happy.
  11. I think the streaming version is only 23 tracks according to Apple Music. I wonder if it’s to do with the two newer tracks being released on different labels to Sony.

Co-written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Steve Mac. It’s from a new compilation ‘The Ultimate Collection’.
  13. This sounds massive! https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNHvJysXNn583-4pOpK/
  14. Deluxe Tracklist: 1. I’m Always on Stage 2. Talk To You (With Elton John) 3. Fortuna’s Wheel 4. Rein Me In (with Olivia Dean) 5. Me and The Dog 6. Tyrants 7. The Treadmill 8. Empty Spaces
  15. Deluxe version of the album on the way soon! Sam has been playing a new song from it called ‘Talk To You’ which is sounding very good.
  16. New one from David Guetta with Teddy Swims & Tones and I. Out 10th October. I’m liking the sound of it from the preview.

I liked some of the tracks from his last album but I just feel the recent two are much stronger and more Olly sounding.

I feel it’s more of a fun filler album track than single material but I am enjoying it

This is great! Apart from the rapping it’s exactly what you would expect from an Olly Murs song. This and ‘Save Me’ are far better than anything from his last album.
  20. Quite surprised Radio 1 are having him for the Live Lounge. I’m maybe wrong but I didn’t think they playlisted anything from his second album.
  21. Thankfully this is getting released quite quickly as I keep hearing the preview and it’s not like ‘Pointless’ with the lyrics “I’ll bring her coffee in the morning, she brings me inner peace” in every second video for me for what felt like months.

I would have probably released ‘Camera’ instead of ‘Old Phone’ and had ‘Symmetry’ as the single for album release week.
  23. Ed’s definitely in more Coldplay territory now. Still part of the conversation, Radio 1 will still play him and will still get the odd hit and album’s will still sell decently but won’t takeover the charts. Near enough 15 years into his career I think that is good going for him.
  24. He said in an interview that he is releasing an EP this year and then an album next year.
