I feel they did this to try and tempt Oasis to perform but they didn’t bite and just carried on with it anyway.

At the moment I’m getting more Union J than One Direction. An album full of One Direction cast off’s (if they get that far) and dropped like a stone when their 15 minutes is up.
  3. New album from Embrace is out on 12th June! Lead single ‘Road to Nowhere’ is out now! Really liking it on first listen. Reminds me of their song ‘Ashes’ which is probably their best song for me.
  4. It’s definitely a grower. I’ve went from being very underwhelmed and not really liking it to thinking it’s really good after a few more listens. I do feel this will be more like ‘Lights Up’ with a ‘Watermelon Sugar’ hiding on the album waiting to be released.
  5. Well at least it’s got a chorus!
  6. I’m hoping it’s a departure in sound from the last two albums whatever that was supposed to be and is something with a bit of life to it!
  7. I can’t believe I didn’t realise that was Serge on the snippet we got a few weeks ago. It’s obvious!
  8. Moth is 100% Keisha Buchanan. Sloth I’m sure is Colson Smith from Corrie.
  9. I’m sure it’s Matt LeBlanc
  10. Monkey Business is definitely Diana Vickers
  11. ‘Fading Lights’ is out now. Really enjoying it!
  12. I had to go check because I couldn’t believe ‘24K Magic’ was nearly 10 years ago
  13. I would never have guessed the lead singer of the band last night either. I was convinced it was Ricky Wilson.
  14. I’m sure Sloth is Colson Smith. Conker is Mark Owen trying to disguise his voice. If he sang normally you would guess him right away.
  15. I would say Moth sounded more like Keisha than Mutya. I’m sure that’s who it is.
  16. You can tell the trend that Kato is featured on is for the slightly older generation when it’s doing nothing on Spotify but doing well on iTunes. On my TikTok I hear it every second video.
  17. ‘The Treadmill’ from the Deluxe Edition is fantastic! Should definitely be a single.
  18. ‘The Treadmill’ would make a good radio single.

‘Run This Town’ has been turned into a Christmas song called ‘Christmas Starts Tonight’ it features The Ordinary Boys. I think it works quite well actually.

I’m not sure why that was just a B-side to ‘Azizam’ and not on the original album. Would have definitely been a better single than ‘Camera’. I’m quite surprised there’s not an obvious big single within the new tracks to give the album a boost.

'Save Me' started the era very strongly and seemed to be go down well when released but the rest of the album for me isn't of the same quality. Really he should have just performed that on Strictly and preferably when the album was released and it would have got a good few extra sales.

‘Guilty’ should have really been released instead of ‘Run This Town’ and performed on Strictly it’s a great track. The first verse of ‘Knees Up’ reminds me of ‘Chaise Longue’ by Wet Leg.

If he wanted to release a slow wedding type song I feel ‘The Vow’ would have been the better choice. That would sell the album better if he done a few live performances of it.
  24. I’m a big fan but I do agree his first album had a bit more life and sounded a bit different. Apart from ‘People Watching’ which basically is ‘Getting Started’ with different lyrics the rest of the album just blends together with no change throughout.
