  1. Sounds more like a leftover from Charlie’s last solo album than Busted but I’m liking it a lot.

It a shame ‘I Hate You When You’re Drunk’ got the negative comments it did because although it’s not the best song on the album it did seem to be catching on slightly and was the most Olly sounding song on the album. The negativity around it stopped radio playing it and he didn’t perform it when he was doing promo for the album so it just got forgotten about.
  3. Yeah I think that’s the case as certain parts of it kind of sound like Zara.
  4. Just had a listen it might be a grower but at the moment I’m not a fan of it. I think it would be good if the production was more like their traditional sound.
  5. Can’t wait for this
  6. Now that would be brilliant
  7. Quite liking this one O7BYyLs9vw0
  8. New single from James Bay out now! 03fMheG7ZDE
  9. I knew it reminded me of something that’s exactly it.
  10. New album from James Arthur out 26th January 2024 Singles ‘A Year Ago’ and ‘Blindside’ out now c3Y98Iit9QY UCW5CV_0Vlk
  11. That Calvin and Ellie rumour was complete and utter nonsense. End of story! Anyway back to 2024 and I think the BBC need to get another management company who can get the major labels involved. It doesn’t work sending an act without a label as the staging has a small budget and we end up with two polystyrene trumpets and that was with a record label involved.

It’s good they have finally been able to get music out there. I always thought it was a shame they didn’t try making ‘The Band’ a full series instead of being an afterthought and wasting time with the Celebrity version. From what I can remember I liked the way the auditions were in Simon Cowell’s office as it was like the old room auditions and also Louis Walsh was nowhere to be seen. The series was over far too quick so you couldn’t really get invested in the contestants like if it was on weekly for a couple of months. It was a complete waste of time for the contestants as well when the winners basically were left without a record deal without even releasing anything.
  13. The contest yes they did give it everything but the entry though felt very much going through the motions.
  14. The BBC might of thought it was a winning contending song though
  15. If Rina was up for it and this was true, I really wouldn’t be surprised if the BBC got cold feet and put a stop to having a contender for the win as there’s no way they would want to host two years in a row.
  16. I doubt David would have had much input into this other than allowing the use of the sample.
  17. This is a weird one for me because I like it and it sounds absolutely massive but anytime I listen to it, it just kind of washes over me.

I believe he’s releasing the songs that originally were for ‘Subtract’ but were replaced by the new ones he wrote last year.
  19. Shame there’s not a track or two from ‘Night Driver’ and ‘Half Way There’ but there you go.
  20. Nearly a year since this was released. Is there any word on the new album?
  21. I like this but to my ears it doesn’t sound like it’s mixed properly. The vocals are too low compared to the backing track. It kind of sounds like a demo very cheap sounding. It’s maybe just my ears though.
  22. Sounding decent. If planned out properly I could see ZAYN doing well with this album.
  23. Yeah really liking this one
  24. This sound catchy but I can’t help but think Sam Ryder would have been perfect for this. Any live performance you would have had Sam ending the song with a guitar solo.
  25. Just caught up on his Glastonbury set and I have to say he’s such a showman. I know most of the audience just turned up for ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ which he joked about but his whole set was brilliant and they seemed to be loving it. ‘Dippin My Feet’ was sounding good live.
