I think more him and his team knew when the court case was and arranged the album and documentary accordingly. Which is quite a smart move.

Sam Ryder - Mountain
Was this not supposed to be out today?

Ed wins the court case just in time for the album release. It’s a good bit of publicity for the album which to be honest with the timing you would think they planned that.

Rita Ora feat. Fatboy Slim - Praising You
Really all those acts would struggle to get a hit single no matter what label they are with.

Tom Grennan - What Ifs & Maybes
Preview of ‘How Does It Feel’ on TikTok Here which is presumably the next single and it’s sounding good from the preview

Busted - Greatest Hits 2.0
I like this but I would of preferred if Simple Plan wasn’t involved and just had Busted with the new production because I don’t think they really add anything. I still think it’s crazy they don’t have the album up for pre order yet.

Busted - Greatest Hits 2.0
Needing the money I would imagine. They strike me as being colleagues and nothing else, I don’t think there’s much of an actual friendship there.

Busted - Greatest Hits 2.0
I enjoyed their Saturday Night Takeaway performance. I never realised how much of a natural performer Matt actually is. Charlie and James can come across quite awkward on these types of shows but Matt just looks like he’s enjoying every second. I do think they should have really had the album up for pre order with all the promotion they have been doing to get a few extra sales.

Jonas Brothers - The Album
I’ve heard ‘Waffle House’ quite a lot on TikTok and it’s definitely catchy and sounds more like a hit compared to ‘Wings’. I’m not sure why it wasn’t released as the lead single.

Sam Ryder - Mountain
Looking forward to ‘Mountain’. It’s sounds really good going by this performance. CkLxxr9ZthQ

Lewis Capaldi - Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent
Is ‘How I’m Feeling Now’ a single or just promo track for the documentary and album? From the snippets I’ve heard it doesn’t sound the most commercial compared to ‘Forget Me’ so I can’t see it being that big.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
The BBC didn’t help either because they really pushed Michael Rice’s version of Bigger Than Us over the other entry’s. I pretty sure they did that just to give a bit of promotion to All Together Now which funnily enough was due to start and Michael won the previous series.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
‘Freaks’ should have definitely been chosen. It was catchy and quite memorable and Jordan wasn’t a bad performer either. It had good staging potential as well.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
You keep saying that Calvin and Ellie weren’t chosen like they were standing in front of the BBC with Mae Muller and they chose her over them. That just didn’t happen.

Ireland (Eurosong) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
A revamped version has been released which I definitely prefer. Seems to give it bit more oomph. RhLbeMvDrY8

The X Factor charity single for Comic Relief
They could get a few of the better singers on as well. People like Tesco Mary and Eoghan Quigg surely would be up for this.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
This feels like a Josh Dubovie moment after getting a good result with Jade the year before. The BBC never follow up after a good result.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Really when you think ‘Space Man’ was hardly groundbreaking and different and very safe and sat very much in what the BBC were already sending. It wasn’t an embarrassment but the studio version didn’t sound like a winning song either. It was Sam’s performance that brought the song to life paired with his great attitude throughout the whole process that got him the result. I have my doubts whether the BBC wanted to win last year or really just wanted a low top 10 result and say they have somewhat turned it around from disaster the year before.
