I believe it’s called ‘Subtract’ and will be out early next year going by various interviews. It will be mainly acoustic in a similar vain to ‘Afterglow’ which was originally intended for this album. This was also supposed to be released before ‘Equals’ but he switched them around.

I can’t believe it’s that time of year when Christmas songs start appearing. I don’t know if it’s just me but it seems like no time at all since last Christmas.

He did say in a recent interview that they pushed back the single and album because his team were worried about his health which of course turned out to be Tourette’s. So I think the first single would of been out in May when The Sun reported that he filmed the video and it was weeks away back in April. Then another one or two singles out before the album release in November but obviously plans changed.

Seems like ages away until it is released but I suppose he will get another couple of hits before the release which isn’t a bad thing. I hope he puts a track called ‘Figure it Out’ on it that was supposed to be on his first album. The opening lines of it is Broken by desire to be heavenly sent Divinely uninspired to a hellish extent Here is the live version NJQ2A4HM998

That or ‘Gold Rush Kid’ would be my pick for future singles. I think ‘Sweetest Human Being Alive’ might be giving a push if he goes for a ballad.

Sam is performing at the NTA’s tonight although I think he is performing ‘Space Man’ it should give the album a few extra pre orders.

‘Deep Blue Doubt’ is the only new song I’ve heard and definitely should have been picked instead of ‘Somebody’ as a single going by the live version. PKUNZ1a_tDg

They have the new song by Blue on the playlist so surely it must be an error because Olly is more relevant than them I would say.

I’m not sure I think it wouldn’t be out of place on Westlife’s comeback album with ‘Hello My Love’ and ‘Dynamite’. Really liking the song though.

Looking back Shayne did have decent success with his debut and the follow up. Though with the 4 year gap afterwards and coming back with a Nickelback cover he was definitely set up to fail by Syco at the time. ‘No Promises’ is still such a tune though!

From the preview I’ve heard it sounds decent. I can remember reading that this was supposed to be on the tour edition of ‘Equals’ but for some reason they must of decided to not put it on that.
