Really liking this! Train definitely know how to write a catchy song. I could see the “they don’t love you, then you love yourself and turn around” part being picked up on TikTok at some point actually.

The preview is sounding good. The chorus sounds kind of like ‘Symphony’ to me.

Don’t think this was the best choice for a single even with the Taylor remix. ‘First Times’ sound more like a hit out of the ballads on the album so probably would have been the better choice. Giving he filmed a video for ‘2step’ I imagine that will be pushed in time for summer.

I’m sure I read Ed is opening the show so I can’t see him doing ‘The Joker And The Queen’. I think he will do ‘Bad Habits’ and the special guests will be Tion Wayne and Central Cee from the remix version. If Taylor was performing with him I imagine we would of heard about it by now.

This is a bit of a tune but it did take me a couple of listens to get in to.

After having a listen to this in full earlier I think this will be a big hit. As instant for me as ‘Head & Heart’ was when I first heard that.

‘Staying at Tamara’s’ would be my pick. There’s not a song on it I didn’t like whereas his first album there is a few I would skip.

According to an interview with Music Week established acts with existing European fanbases are in the shortlist for this years entry and Radio 1 and Scott Mills are involved in the process. If Ed Sheeran performs ‘The Joker And The Queen’ which I think he will, I can see that getting a decent boost especially if he’s got the duet version out by then.
